Oh, my, goodness! Laughing on it all - but the BIRD FEEDER! we have one! And, YES, it is designed to keep the squirrels from getting into it - yet, those cleaver buggers hang from the top to feed!
We used to have at least 30 squirrls stealing from the birds, wrecking the feeders, but no more. They were also doing damage to the house.
We have so many birds now.

The inside of his house looks a lot like mine, full of "fun and funky" things that make me happy but get eyerolls from normal people.
I wish I knew a guy like Pete. I have so much vintage I need to sell, cheap, but I live so far in the boonies I don't trust strangers to come out here. Tried that once and got ripped off and then had to chase them off in the night when they tried coming back to steal more. My big dog changed their mind! 😆

I had a feeder similar to that and mounted it to a tree trunk. The problem was squirrels and raccoons used to lay across the top on their belly and scoop sunflower seeds with their paws. It looked to be very comfortable for them until someone too heavy rode it to the ground! 😏

@9:33 that cart was the old way of moving stacks of product, prior to the large scale adoption of skids, pallet jacks, and forklifts. There would have been a bar with 2 wheels on the end, the bar would be wheeled under the cart and pried up to wheel the whole cart away.

I had that exact Quadraflex stereo. Bought from Pacific Stereo in 1978. It has the "flywheel" tuner that lets the selector cruise across the frequencies. I sold it to my brother-in-law for $50 in the 90s. He gave it back to me before he passed away. I finally donated it to Savers a few months ago.
