I used to have a similar record player thing called a "Show and Tell" when I was a kid. It looked like that one. You inserted a film strip piece into the slot and played the 45 record. It would tell a story and show the pictures on the screen as it went along. It's neat to see one again!

The Disney is for storm doors. When I was a kid back in the 70's they would put that on a storm door window. Also Allied radio was a company formed in 1928 and purchased by the Tandy Corp...(aka Radio Shack) in 1970. Its a good good clean collectible..

You may want to check some of those auto parts marked "MOPAR" could be some old OEM parts for classic Plymouth/Dodge and Chrysler cars. restorers go crazy for that stuff!

I love hearing stories about Pete's Polish family background! Definitely wouldn't mind hearing any stories involving Poland! Legend has it...that us Polish folks are some of thee strongest out there, considering our country was wedged in between two psychopaths, and we survived to tell our story!! Btw that Jim Beam helmet has those knobs on the top of the helmet, so u can flip it upside down, and it can then be used as a party bowl for chips and stuff.

That’s a heck of a deal. That record player had film I had on as a kid I had the Disney aristocrats. You can play regular records to. But it worked like those old see and slides.

"Pimms" is a drink very popular in England. It's based on gin and a variety of flavors. Very refreshing as a summer drink poured over a slice of orange or other fruits and veggies.
I'm a vintage Beer sigh collector. I used to have a Miller neon sign that liquor stores today have hanging on their front windows. This Miller Neon that im looking for used to Flash. It would Flash the Miller logo (yellowish orange) and then turn off and then flash Miller Beer (White) in the center of the sign. It was totally different from the rest of the neon signs in 1980's era. I have searched the net for this exact sign and nobody has them. I would LOVE to find one Pete. If you ever trip across one, It's Sold !!

In my opinion, (and many other smart people in comments), you really should look into throwing him an offer on that whole haul of stuff from that one unit. Especially with how many auctions there will be up for grabs as soon as the world dictators loosen up the tight grip from around our necks and let us leave our houses and go back to work...he's gonna need all the room he can get to fill back up!

Pimm's cup glasses selling for $7-10 each (sold listings). I'd just offer one price for it all. There's so much good stuff there. The turntable with the 1942 letter would make a good prop for a movie. If listed on E-bay, put prop in the initial description. Turn the Jim Beam helmet over...it's a bowl for a tailgate or SuperBowl party. (I think). Duncan Spin Top, depending on the model, do pretty well on E-bay. Yes, it's going to be hard. A handshake was always a man's word. Now what? Can't wait to see you next time.
Pete you should look up both the old radio book and the model.
There are people out there that collect ww2 stuff; and also look up the model that was with the radio magazine, if complete could bring some good money.

Hey Pete! The two GI Joe boxes your looking at around 29:00 look to both be authentic GI Joe. The plastic one was a remake that Hasbro did in the early 90s and is generally worth nothing. The wood ones can be worth a little bit if they are complete (and usually worth more without writing on the top). Just for future reference!
