They should do the Beet-Gadol hercules beetle retool and Beet-Papil as "G1" versions of RiD 2015 Saberhorn and Glowstrike. I can't read it but what would've been the virtual retool is on that picture that shows the whole team in the "mechanics" portion along with a virtual redeco of Beet-Gugal.
Yeh, the manga had a few extra variants of the mechs that were never made in to toys.
Since they aren't important to the transformers side of the lore, I didn't mention them.
But I would love for them to expand the Insecticons team, even ir they are just clones/nameless side kicks of other insects.

I wouldn't be suprised. With Energon being a 20th anniversary series, most of their designs were inspired by ones from the past. Man, maybey they gave it to him as a recompensation for not appearing in anything for two decades.

As a kid, I always thought Venom's head was a pumpkin.
I mean, thats kinda what stingers are. They are just natural pumps with a sharp end.

Man, this definitely brings back memories!!! I got Barrage for Christmas way baby in 1985!!! He was my first and favorite Insecticon because of his bio!!! I still love the original 3, but the deluxe Insecticons are on another level!!! I have the new Ransack as well as Legacy Shrapnel and Kickback, and I've already put in the preorder for the new Barrage and Chop Shop, so I'm very stoked about having the deluxes together!!! Thanks for the cool history on these guys!!!

Also Bugs are mostly seen as good guys in Japan. Especially BW 2.

as a kid in the 80's i had the first 3 insecticon. but i never owned any of the deluxe insecticon.

My parents were always able to somehow find every Transformer on my Christmas list AND they would try to surprise me with little extras too. For Christmas 1985 I was lowkey pissed that they gifted me Ransack (and Whirl).

Yes. I made this video mostly talking about the G1 Versions, but its true some Insecticons managed to sneak in to other continuties, like Chop-Shop in Rid15, or Energon Insecticons being inspired by Barrage

the recently reveaked Barrage and Chop Shop look amazing, sucks for all of those people who didnt get Ransack a year ago. Now if you want to complete the team ( Venom coming out next year ) you have to pay at least 100 USD for Ransack. wish they would re-release or even redo Ransack to these new guys level for the ones that missed it
