I want to weigh in on turning off lightsabers. The sith viewed that as a weakness to need to disarm the opponent first, the jedi viewed it as dishonorable and basically a war crime. Sorta like “If you turn off my saber you’ve committed a war crime” and “I literally blew up planets of civilians I do not care about warcrimes BUT, I ain’t a giant bitch that needs to turn off your saber to beat you.”

I want to weigh in on turning off lightsabers. The sith viewed that as a weakness to need to disarm the opponent first, the jedi viewed it as dishonorable and basically a war crime. Sorta like “If you turn off my saber you’ve committed a war crime” and “I literally blew up planets of civilians I do not care about warcrimes BUT, I ain’t a giant bitch that needs to turn off your saber to beat you.”
