I lived in Cheam, and my mothers' family all came from Sutton, so as a kid and adult I was always in Sutton. Took my driving test there as well. Left the area for the south-west of England some 31 years ago, so to see how much has changed, and for me not for the good.
Well, the train station & bus stop has not changed!! Had many driving lessons in & out of Sutton. Took my driving test there. The pedestrian only area you walked down used to be for traffic as well. Learned to do hill starts at the traffic lights.
Thanks for sharing. We left Carshalton for the Midlands 18 years ago so it was fun to see how Sutton has changed.

That looks familiar 😂 Great video!
I started work at the NatWest on 26 High Street, thought it had become a trendy wine bar? Great memories walking up and down that place.

Same here, many years ago.
Love to see you do St Helier Estate the Green and Circle (ps great video)
Thanks 😊 I've added that on my plan map. By the green do you mean the large open area that cuts through the middle of St Helier or a specific green?
The shops at Wrythe Green where known as The Green @@SimonPain
