But many Germans, Italians, and Portuguese go to Switzerland because the living conditions are better. Others, on the other hand, prefer safety. They move from many richer countries for example, to poorer Hungary, because of the good public safety.

Maybe its a one off thing here but here in Aus it's illegal for us to do this. We have to park facing the same way as traffic flow. I just thought we had similar rules.
Pulling into the opposite side for parking then moving off from that side was one of the new additional manoeuvres introduced into the updated driving test in 2017, fairly easy in quieter residential roads seen in the video but on busy wider roads you need to watch out, much of London roads now have a 20mph speed limit.
Atleast you guys follow traffic rules , here in India we drive in the left officially, but people drive here anywhere in the road😂😂😂, and don't forget the living speed breakers like cows, dogs , goats in the middle of the road

Kew in West London is a relatively nice and safe neighborhood, and you got the privilege of being close to Kew Gardens. I've been visiting there several times with my husband and children throughout the years. The only prob is how expensive it is as a neighbourhood.

My mind is a little blown watching this video. Yours might be blown if you visit Washington, DC. A very large percentage of our neighborhoods look literally *exactly* like this. We have neighborhoods full of "Victorian-style" row houses with their bay windows and "English basements" (which are often rented as apartments). My childhood home was a row house with bay windows like these that was built in the 1800s. It was a low-income neighborhood back then, in the 1980s and early 1990s, but it's very expensive there now. I never knew I lived in heaven! 😊 The layout of the streets, including the length of the blocks, the width of the sidewalks, the alleyways, the architecture of the shops, the placement of the trees... all the same. It would have been so surreal if I had visited this neighborhood when I visited London last year. I would have been walking in a DC neighborhood in a foreign country. 🫨
My grandad lived and worked in DC. I visited a couple of times as a kid, and remember thinking how much his neighbourhood looked like posh London... but half the price... (that was back in the 90s tho...)

You missed the best part: Lichfield Rd. Walked right past it in the beginning. For those who think it’s a nice place to live: only if you don’t mind a jumbo jet ✈ passing over your roof every 90 seconds. It’s on a direct approach path the main runway at Heathrow.
Yes! Lichfield Road is beautiful! I did not take that route as I would end up at the wall for Kew Gardens and I thought that may not be interesting. I shall go back next time!
The whole of the Richmond borough is still a beautiful and unspoilt area of London. It feels like you are in a little bubble living there. I think the cost of property here is the reason why it is still the way it is.

Heathrow airport flight path is right over Kew and because of its close proximity to the airport the planes are flying low. The noise is horrendous and never ending. Did you actually spend any time in Kew or just look at the houses? lol

I don’t really know much about the UK but this kind looks like an average neighborhood to me! I’ve never been to London but I will definitely visit this year. Edit: Residential neighborhoods in the US and the UK exhibit notable differences.
No this isn't heaven on earth. Sorry. Heaven won't have diseased bushes and cracks in the sidewalks, polluting cars. This is a far cry from heaven no matter how you feel. I live in north central Ontario Canada on a river and I often say to myself when walking, "This is heaven." Then I correct myself and say, "Not yet." But sometimes the common grace out there to create nice places is pretty good.
I believe in what you say, heaven cannot be compared to this earth, but I still feel grateful to God to be able to admire beautiful landscapes here on earth.
First and foremost u shouldn't interpret every caption literally. That's a figurative statement, the truth is there aren't many places better than this anywhere in the world as well.

The roads in London were not meant for cars. They were meant for horse drawn carriages.

Kew gardens is an upmarket part of London without a doubt but travel up to the cotswolds and compare the two ! No comparison
