Camellia Gardens. This park reminds me of the Busch Gardens we have in the US. A nature reserve/zoo with theme park and rides. Camellia Sinensis is the Latin name for the plant that tea comes from. Then could have different types of tea for the different sections like Oolong Nature Reserve, Matcha Grove Zoo, ChaiLand, etc.
I live in Florida and I instantly thought of Busch Gardens lol glad im not the only one
Proposal: Matcha Zoo About Nothing
@@Kyra577 Matcha Zoo About Nuffin Atoll
Then the entire island should be called Oolong Island?
@@markauger1486 went to Florida a few years back, thought the exact same thing
Brewassic Park... all sorts of merch ideas there.
Side gate by the ferry stop might be useful, or a footpath, or... even... a cable car end-stop! Right over the bit of the amusement park currently there. Imagine the views! You could always continue that over the water to the ruined castle area too, if you were feeling bold...
Save me a Tea-Rex plushie!
Brewassic Park. Yes! Gosh I hope Biffa chooses that one!
The dog-shaped amusement park must be named Yorkie Park
(both dog & tea related)
Yes yes!
No girls allowed? 😂
Same idea came across my mind, but naming it Yorkshire TEArrier park. 🤪
and Queen-related as well!
Teadog Park 😏
Easy and straightforward name.
Just a suggestion to put a separate train line from the airport to the new park, so that people arriving at the airport do not need to wait for a longer train line to come to the new park. Been waiting for your videos, Biffa!
A dedicated line from airport to park is definitely needed.
Agreed. At least he did that for the ferry.
Even worse is the way back. Imagine you stayed at the amusementpark during your holidays and want to travel back to the airport. That would be a veeeeery long trainride.
Monorail to and from airport!
The high bridge leading up to the lookout towers looks amazing to walk across ... but I don't like the look of the vertical climb when you get across it! (It's a shame that CS can't put steps in when a path gets too steep 😉)
I'm not sure that a "sunken" station is the best one to choose when the railway line is on a big embankment!
Cities: Skyline added balloon tours. Maybe you could use them somewhere. And there's underground power cables (they're basically earthquake sensors but underground), maybe you could use them for Teathrow Airport. Also maybe for the Amusement park the name "The Doggone Amusement Park"
It's a shame the dog shaped area isn't the zoo. Calling it the Shih Tsu would've been absolutely perfect!
Sh*t zoo?
@@mandowarrior123 Yes, it's a play on words from an old joke:
You go to a zoo and notice there's only one animal there. It's a Shih Tsu.
😂😂
Well this episode definitely settles any dispute you might have with CPP about water pipes. We could clearly see how you put water under the bridge. Well done, Biffa! :)
:-)
And that's exactly where pipes should go! I used to look at the undersides of bridges and the watermain is always carried by the steel beams within the space of the underside.
On the tall mountains without the look outs, how does a water volcano thingy sound? Maybe put a hole in the top of a mountain and make a pool of water at the top and make a stream of water go down the mountain under some bridges and paths. Just an idea. Loving the ideas you've got this island is really starting to fill up with hard work. Let's get to 1 Mill!
With the way water works in this game he might flood the whole map. I like the idea. Good luck.
Since the park is in the form of a dog, it surely has to be named Tea-Bone-Park 🙂 - why? Because all the lovely dogs are catching bones... eh, sticks out there of course 😀
The park is looking great! But I have some suggestions for it
First: a waterfall at the rocky side of the mountain ( min 17:16 ) with a small river would look good for the natural reserve part of the park
Second: what if you ban cars inside the park and make some bus routes? You wouldn’t need to use car parks everywhere, only at the entrance
This is the most ambitious thing you've ever done Biffa. All parks quite fit well together somehow LOL. Nice work!
Thanks! 😁
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines Since you made the blunder with "Bippa", you could make a backup channel with that name, or even use it for other hobbies or interests you have. For example, a big channel of Scrap Mechanic, namely Scrapman, has a secondary channel for the music he makes, namely Catarinth. This way, you're diversifying.
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines I love this series! And I'd like to see similar series on other maps, once you finish this map.
@@SapioiT Bippa is his evil twin, his arch nemesis who once Biffa has created the city fully, will come to destroy it....
An even more ambitious project would be to correct Real Civil Engineers cities traffic.
As you have a district over the separate park areas you could call the zoo area New Zooland
For now, my brain cannot process names for this place but I came up with some ideas to improve the look of the place!
Let's start with the nature reserve. For me it looks kinda repetitive because there is literally nothing other than paths and fences along the side, running through a vast wood...It would be amazing if you add some fire pits, tents, and camping grounds along the side along with some different types of trees...It would be amazing if you can make a hot spring with steam oozing out of the water.....which would be an amazing tourist place.....Also, you can use the other mountain peaks to make a castle or a fort, which will again add a great boost to tourism.....because usually forts are made on high grounds...so I feel it's going to be a perfect fit!!
Also, you can use the coves, which are present at the far left end of the island, to make a beach area with some seaside restaurants or shops, and also water activities like speed boating, surfing and all, if you manage to get all the assets and props. You can also place some huge standing rocks (like the one in alien rock park) on the water, which I got inspired by the Phuket islands in Thailand!!
And I think you would like this idea! You can add some corals underneath the water on the sides and the edges of the island
in the most creative way you possibly can! It will look amazing from above!!
There are plenty of things we could do in this area!! I would love to see the end result👍👍
I grew up in new England (north east US) which is known for covered bridges. That is the longest covered bridge I've ever seen. I'm all for it, but just fyi, it's normally for crossing small rivers and gullies.
Yes! I saw that and thought, mhmm only in a game will ya find that.
Question: Apart from looking cool, are there really any benefits to covering a bridge? I can imagine it's rather expensive, so therefore I was wondering about the why..
@@SlateTiara they were built in the 19th century, before cars. They were built to last and protect travelers and the bridge structure itself from the harsh new England weather.
This park is so HUGEEEE
My suggestion maybe more transportation because its hard to move around that park without a car
maybe add some free transportation around the park
Monorail & cable car :D the only way to travel
Monorail between the parks and a hotel area, like in Disney World
A tram would be nice
OH YEAH!!!
Fantastea (Fan-taste-tea) Forest? Like Fantasy Forest, but tea-punned.
"Creature Comforts" for the Zoo...
"Taste of the Wild" for the nature preserve...
"Perk-Up Park" for the amusement park...
And I dunno, can't think of anything good for the city park,
"Leaf your Problems Behind: The Garden", maybe?
I'unno, seems kind of 'too' silly, even for a Biffa Citea. ;)
(separate post, so IF people vote for it, they don't have to vote for my overly-wordy-but-silly little story from watching this video)
I was having a bit of a day. Love me some nature parks irl. Saw this and said to myself, "meh been a day, but this should be pretty chill, maybe it can help me cool it" *cut to roughly ten minutes in* ... *nice smooth jazz tunes kicked in* ... next thing I know, I've missed the first half of the NEXT big video in my watch later, without any clue that it had happened.
THAT my good sir, actually made my day. Helped me take a stressful sort of day straight down to no issue, and I napped. And now that I've napped, and come back to watch this for real, day don't seem so 'ugh'... THANK YOU!!!
Absolutely living for a huge park island! And as for the name suggestion, I would say Calm-oo-mile Park
Calm - Nature reserve
Oo - Z'oo'
Mile - gotta walk a mile to enter the amusement park
Park - The city park
Lyons Zoo (Irish Tea)
Yorkie Park ( for the dog shaped one)
Yogi nature reserve (yogi is also a tea and of course a bear)
Great video biffa can't wait to see how the park progresses
I was disappointed at first when you didn't make this an eco neighbourhood...but I'm glad you didn't because this park is awesome! I definitely think it needs a few hotels so the tourists will stay longer. The entrance to the amusement park gave me the name idea of Pretzel Park.
Neat. You definitely need a paddle steamer boat for the ferry line and a Choo Choo train for the train line, or something else that's antique and fancy. Perhaps even old trams or trolley buses; ban cars all together and encourage biking.
Maybe add an old timey train shuttle like in WesTEA World :p This is gonna be fun to watch!
I thought getting the path of the Nature Reserve over the ridge with the tunnels would have made sense. Also since when do you place such entrances directly on a road with no parking or public transport off the road?
You need quite something stronger than X-Ray vision to view through a mountain. ;-)
17:17 is possible to set up rock climbing in the game? That side looks inviting.
Cutting back the railroad and the choice of station was well done.
I think the southern separate part of the nature reserve could have a path to the west of the plateau to enjoy the view other there. Should have nice views on the castle and southern part of the zoo. BTW that kind of star fort isn't thaaat old. Age is relative of course.
I'm not sure if a shuttle train between airport and parks wouldn't have been bether. Now people who want to go from the airport to the city have to take a detour to the parks.
I think a monorail would have been too noisy for the area. I'd say bus or an old-timey tram would have been ideal to not disturb the nature more than necessary. But your cable car looks pretty good too.
For the ferry I think one of the existing roads would have made more sense (probably with a shuttle bus) but on the other hand that gives you complete freedom to place something else there. But at least we have a ferry connection, yeah. I also think it was good that you made the ferry just a short connection.
Maybe the area (or one of them) could be called DisTea world, as a sort of play on words for Disney World. Thought of it because Disney World is basically a combination of parks, including a zoo (animal kingdom), standard amusement park (magic kingdom), restraints and some rides (Epcot (which can sort of be the city park equivalent)). Then there is also Hollywood studios and the water park bit (don’t remember what it’s called)
Edit because I just thought of this: bonus points if the park is hugely overpriced.
I believe he already has a Teasney World (or is it Teasney Land?)
@@LiqdPT ah, does he? Now that you mention it, that sounds familiar. Though I think at least from a different series? But if he does, it wouldn’t be off brand, especially of the other one is Teasney Land. After all, there is both a land, and world irl.
@@christopherharsch4352 it's in this series. It's an amusent park that he built early on the islands across from the main city (maybe on No Problem Atoll)
@@LiqdPT both exist the one in no problem atoll and the area where the space elevator is
@@LiqdPT dang. Well, not to big a problem if it’s Teasney. This still could be the non-copyright infringing DisTea, other than the play on words with Disney, it does also sound like someone could be trying to say “This here is tea”, but removing the middle words. I am a little bummed though, it is a little much of same and therefore unlikely to be chosen.
While not really tea related, I thought that the loopy entrance path for the amusement park kinda looked like a pretzel. Maybe it could be nicknamed after some sort of tea from the region where the pretzel was invented.
As for transportation, I do agree that a separate train line would be better, or even a subway (since the airport has an integrated subway station in it).
For the fortress island, I would love to see some kind of historical center with old buildings for all the ancient tea farmer from 1600
You could call it Isla Teacaño, there’s a slight Jurassic park reference
We should revisit Old Town New Tealand sometimes, that tram line is sad and needs some help.
Hi Biffa! Long time viewer but first time commenting. This build was amazing, I love the idea! Given all the attractions I would imagine a couple of hotels popping up in the epic park. Maybe one luxury high end one and a larger resort? Perhaps they could fit around the city park area or in proximity of the old fort. There’s also a whole section you set out for the zoo that you didn’t end up using. We could use our imagination that the fort hosts events and walking tours. Love your videos and all your hard work. Have a good one!
I definitely think you should add a monorail loop between all the little parks inside and the ferry stop. A lot of big parks I’ve been to have monorails, and it’ll help people get around quicker
When you did the first large footbridge, it reminded me of a bridge where people would bungee jump from in New Zealand, with a river running through and some rapids, maybe some adventure sport scenes could be nice in the nature reserve 🏞️ - loving the content Biffa!
nice work, love it, you should consider puting down a mono rail like in jurassic world or disney world, a line that just conects the inside of the parks
Lol Biffa sees monorail, Biffa likes ♥
Beautiful idea this huge park combo! I think we could use a small tourist specialization high density commercial near the entrance of the park. Which I'd call Lipton Isle Tea Park.
20:10 RCE would be proud of the strongest shape gate 😂
Me: watching city planner plays...
biffa: uploads new vid
Me: drops everthing and starts watching Biffa :D
:P
that's a fat W
I finished City Planner Plays then came over to this one
The nature reserve path could have gone up over the tunnels... much more realistic and wouldn't involve a crazy bridge...!
oh good i'm not the only one screaming "just go over the tunnels"...
You’re complaining about the crazy bridge not being realistic? Not the alien rock park he has floating in his city? Lool it’s his city, relax and enjoy the video 😄
I'm not sure if you've already fixed it, but those two watchtowers have an EXTREMELY steep path leading up to them.
Had to scroll for a while to find this comment. I think my legs snapped just looking at the incline of that path. 😂
Suggestion for the powerlines in the park, I noticed in a previous episode that some of the props like rocks and things are classified as buildings (probably assets from the workshop), but they'll carry power and look natural in your park. Only downside is if you accidentally delete them you'll suddenly have power problems.
TeaTree Island! How does that sound?
I think the space between the zoo and amusement park could benefit from including a bit of a nightlife district while also being very pedestrian oriented and decorated with the city park buildings. This whole island is giving me serious callbacks to a lot of places I've visited along the coast of the Black sea.
Here in New Zealand we have a wildlife sanctuary in Wellington called Zealandia. OBVIOUSLY the whole new park island should be called "TEAlandia".
Reframing the new zoo into a "wildlife sanctuary" means that you can focus more on the smaller and quieter items, which you discussed in the video.
Citizens and tourists can get from the airport to the amusement park by train but they can't get back to the airport without going to the next stop. You need to add a stop at the airport on the way back.
For the bridge over the zoo, see if there’s a mode to turn it into an “Indiana Jones”/ swinging cable bridge. And maybe there might be a mode for zip-lines which would look good over the the larger gaps, might be able to add them over at the big mt. park at the center.
also some spelunking/caving with some hot springs would be nice for that area. Great build as always.
What about Tea-rassic Park? And there has to be a dinosaur mascot! 🦖
I think you could call the island Brew York, so that you could have CenTrEAl Park Zoo, ManhatTEAn, ConTEA Island amusment park and use the Statue of LiberTEA asset somewhere on the island too!
Your comment was featured on a Google survey I just did.
@@audreycofield9699 How weird
I love this idea :)
ConTEA Island....smells fishy
I love this episodes as console player, I would like to suggest to make a ferries near the airport so people can travel to main island.
Hey Biffa, if you want hide those power pylons away, I'd recommend using a mod called Suburban Powerline. It allows you to run small powerlines along the pavements of roads. They're very neat and tidy. You'll barely even notice them, they're only about as tall as street lights. They also have their own power radius so they spread power wherever you place them too. It allows you to have the odd building out on its own somewhere and still have power (without needed a giant pylon of its own)
Whole island could be "Tea-rrasic Park" or "Tea-rannosaurus Park" you could try using the city arch just before the tunnel entrance to represent the gate, or they have the Jurassic park main gate on the workshop made by svenBerli, loving the build and your dedication to rock preservation is heart warming 🙂
Lol that bit of path between the bridge and the lookout towers is straight up WILDxD pure madness.
Honestly, as stupid as it sounds, this is by far one of the funniest episodes I've watched!
My entire body hurts from laughter. All these mishaps and your perfectly, flat & dry british humour made the editing just perfect!
Not that I'd think you other videos aren't funny but you've definitely served me really, really well with this episode :D
LOVE YOUR VIDS - For the whole park : Brewassic Park For the Amusment Park: Yorkie Amusment Park
Use a Cable Car across the two mountain peaks above the zoo. Would be a great view and more enjoyable than a bridge!
Replace Powerlines and Water Pipes with "Remove Need For Power Lines" & "Remove Need For Pipes" from
"Overhatted's Workshop" I"ve been using them for some time without problems. One catch you must connect the power/water/heating buildings to the road at the items location. Even if you don't have a snow map. It will complain about not enough heat. The roads take care of the rest.
I would love to see some suspension bridges in this park!
Glacier park, looks like the island was made by glaciers, and its related to nature/animals + it sounds intense for the amusement park.
I already have a four star amusement park and a three star zoo near it going, in my city. I called it Beachopolis, and it's pretty much a coastal multi-city with utilities and industry focused more inland. All residential and commercial areas are zoned only on the eastern coastline, which helps land value, happiness, and pollution levels greatly allowing for more denizens and income to just flow through my city tremendously. Proper amenities, services, and transportation of all modes both within and outgoing are established. I also have heavy traffic bans placed in certain districts along with the No Smoking policy established citywide to increase health and lifespan of my citizens! Plenty of beachfront parks and docks right near my industrial zones and my train station next to it for intercity passenger and cargo transit. As a SimCity veteran who started with SimCity, back in the day, I can now say I am an expert city builder on Cities Skylines! Taken to the next level with this, man! Proud of it!
I use the "Literally underground cables" from the workshop. I haven't used regular power lines ever since I got it. Plus, I hide them under the road with anarchy on. So much better. 😊 Name suggestion for the island due to its shape: Tea Rex Island. Just a thought. Great video Biffa, thoroughly enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed this episode! Well done with all the parks. For the dog-shaped park, I was also thinking TEArrier Park as many people mentioned already...
On the nature reserve bridges, you should remove the pillars that hold it up to make it appear to be a suspension bridge. The local zoo where I live has a bridge that goes over a river and it swings side to side as more people are on it. I could only imagine how terrifying a swinging bridge would be at that height and distance!
There's a number of Workshop assets you can use to expand the parks if you want. I've found a spring and a cave for the Nature Reserve, some more pavilions and amusement park rides, and even assets for a circus.
Biffa naming things, daughter: Tea (pronounced tee-a), dog: Spottea, son: Teal'c (two in one)
I'm looking forward to the detailing part like small clinics, hotels for those who want to stay, worker's barracks , buses and bicycles. Maybe a beachfront and assorted trees and rocks.
Nice leisurely walk across the bridge to the lookout. Then bam, the steepest path ever.
'Nope, sorry kids, back to the car'.
Cable car ride would've worked here though.
😂
That big bridge across the valley would look amazing if you could find a single span arch bridge on the workshop.
Also, you can get additional styles of powerline on the workshop including small ones on wooden poles which will be perfect for plumbing through urban areas or where you don't want big massive metal towers ruining your views like in the park.
@@automation7295 If they were to implement it natively they should do High/Medium/Low voltages like Soviet Republic: Workers and Resources does as it's a bit more realistic having to build your power grid to factor in the power requirements of different areas and industries.
Looks amazing, I’d love to go to a huge park like that! You could have hotels and accommodation so you could stay and see all the parks over a number of days.
I recommended this before, however Teavoli could be a great name, play on the Tivoli name. There is one in Denmark that is in the middle of Copenhagen (city park), has amusement rides and has a few animal enclosures for a Zoo. There are also paths that going through a wooded area. Could be really cool. In terms of sub names, could use Teavoli for the amusement park.
I would suggest the "Teackel Mansion Park" for the dog-shaped park !
I love your content by the way and i'm absolutely fan of your very clear and understandable accent. I'm a french dude (with the amazing french capacity to NOT talk other language and i fully understand every single word). You shiftified your language and it's... fantastic !
I love your series 🙌🏻
I was googling to see if you could get something new too your amusement park at the same time watching the episode. I can see that is some different assets there that you could ad to make the island park difference from the main island.
But no complaints from what you have made tho 😉
Monstrositea Park. Probably better served as the nickname during Halloween.
Great work, as always, Biffa! A name for the entire island could be "ParTea Island", so many parks mean so many parties!
There's so much fantastic stuff going on here that I think the park as a whole should be called Fan-Tea-Sy Islands
Maybe call the island Teawinings (play on Twinings tea) Island and name the parks after different flavors? The zoo could be Nambarrie park (flavor of Twinings tea plus it sounds like Hambre), the Nature reserve would be Pu’erh Reserve (earthy flavor), the amusement park could be something fun, and maybe Lady Grey Park for the city park?
Anyone who wants to go to that watchtower will need to be both insanely fit (in order to get up the impossibly steep slope) and not suffer from vertigo. Also, have you considered calling the park Fort-tea Acre Woods?
There should absolutely be a monorail as well as the cable car. A monorail to connect all the entrances together as most parks have a people mover. Alton towers in the UK has a cable car and monorail
You could build an epic roller coaster over, under and around the entrance ramp! It would be amazing!
I would like to suggest tea names for the island and the parks. Jasmine, Earl Grey, Oolong, Chai, White,
Green, Black...etc...
Given the scale of the park I think Yosemitea Park would be a brilliant name in honour of California's famous Yosemite National Park!
best suggestion yet
Biffa, your path at 19:56 is a pretty strong shape lol some might say the stringest shape ;)
18:20 well, I actually know places that do that. My home town was one of them, we have this river that was going between two sides of town and the water pipes were literally fixed to the bridge, under the roadway. They changed that a few years back though. Brought in a boring machine to dig a tunnel under the river, just a couple hundred meters upstream from the bridge, and ran the pipes through there. They seem to last longer that way than exposed to the elements.
The 'boring machine' made me lol. Poor machine..
Hey, Biffa, other posters have excellent names for the park, nature reserve, etc., but I have some names myself.
Name for the whole island including Teathrow Airport: Long Chailand, after Long Island in New York, where the locals say it, "Lawn Guyland!" 🤣
The barrier island with the zoo and the star fort: Nuffin Atoll
The zoo: Matcha Zoo About Nuffin Atoll (inspired by unkyra in a reply to clay menotti)
City Park: New Tealand Harbor Islands National Park
> Zoological Tea Gardens [Zoo]
> Four-Tea Acre Woods [Nature]
> Cup 'o Tea Adventures [Amusement]
> Varia-Tea Park [City]
I would love for you to call the island teatopia! You could have the teatopia walks, teatopia zoo, tea-tertoter amusements, etc
Dear Biffa, I really love this Epic Park! My suggestion is to make the bridge to the lookout tower, look like a hanging bridge. I think it would add to the adventure. Maybe remove the pillars and then create a sort of dip so it looks like its actually hanging...?
'Sipping Hound' for the Dog shapped park (a joke with sleeping/sitting and sipping) and as it is an amusement park, hound/Round being a refference for a merry go round
And the pathway would be the hounds bowl ;)
And the ferry line, the FERRY GO HOUND
Idea for the whole park area, "The Teamusement Isle" I think would suit well 😁
The park is EPIC, the Entertainment Park of an Island City.
I really like how you approach this build and the execution is just beautiful.
This is certainly the Epic-o-Tea Center
Fantastic idea, Biffa! Looks like this will be an epic park. :)
Maybe some sightseeing buses can help attract more tourists and get them to the different areas? I wonder if some walking tours might be popular as well.
Cable car!!! Woot!!! Maybe helicopter or blimp Island tours?
Hot air balloon?
Hi Biffa, I think the whole island should be called "Honeybush island" (herbal tea) or "Milima island" (Black tea) or "Rukeri island" (Another black tea) or "White Peony island" (white tea) a few more than one but they all sound great when your saying "Rukeri zoo" or even Milima city Park" etc, great build by the way looking forward to the completed build.
4:24: Uses fine road tools to upgrade a tunnel to a road on flat ground, blames game for following instructions
Think you have to name the park basically what you mentioned; Tearassic Park! Can call the different zones based off of Dinosaurs like ‘Tearannosaurus Zoo’ and ‘Steagosaurus Nature Reserve’… you might have to legitimately get that Jurassic Park gate for the entrance though! 😁
A new tealand video really brightens my mood, even though I’m sick
Biffa, you should do a city tour vid. I've watched every episode and I know theirs things and parts of the city I've forgotten about. I really enjoy the series and then a tour vid would be a great trip down memory lane
"...and then they'll be completely sick by the time they get to the other side. EXCELLENT!" - Biffa 2k22 🤣🤣
It is so satisfying seeing Hugo dancing and entertaining kids in amusement in park
Hey Biffa, as a Portuguese history nerd, I suggest naming those fort ruins Santeago Fort, as if it was some former Spanish or Portuguese fort (Santiago was a commonly used name because of the Santiago Order or St. James in English). Even the island could be Santeago Island.
An excellent video, as always!
I'd suggest to ban private vehicles from this huge park. People should leave their cars outside the area and continue by local (green? trolley?) buses only. Elephants to roller coaster line could be great.
Loved the whole episode. I've tried to do the same, with varying degrees of success.
How about the Overall Park Name being "The Tea Leaves" & each individual park being tea brands "Yorkshire Dales Natural Park" "VelocTetley Valley Theme Park" (Velocity Valley is a theme park in NZ irl) etc
Velocitea Valley Theme Park c:
Name suggestion for amusement Park: Since Fantasia Park is a pretty good name, what about Fanteasia Park?
