Chris met two very drunk guys and they became good friends. Everytime I've encountered very drunk people I'm happy they were drunk and hopefully can't remember ever meeting me.
Love it. I was in Japan and met a trio of older women at a cheezy "elvis" bar. Sung karaoke. The eldest said it was her birthday. Sang her "elvis' happy birthday. Turns out it was her 88 which is "baiju" because the kanji for 88 looks like the kanji for wheat or something. She invited me to her official party. Turns out she owned a very large livehouse chain in Tokyo and it was a massive party with a hilarious Queen cover band. Never heard from them again, but what a crazy opportunity. Japan is crazy like that. People are closed off, but then there's also a strange intimacy (maybe why people end up closed off). Alcohol helps bridge it. And you can end up really having nice times with interesting people. Mr. Abroad is famous etc. but would have loved to have met either of you. I have phenomenal friends left behind in Japan who seem to have met a famous youtuber or two in their day. Japan is weird like that. I hope to at least once find myself drinking with one of you fellas one day, just so the vibe becomes real. That's Japan. Big promises which come a little bit true, some disappointment, real mixed-magical place.
A fortunate meeting for you guys.. cos you two bounce off each other, making for entertaining duo. Pete can find an entertaining reply to any subject, Chris can bring that dry British sarcasm he's most famous for.
It may be propaganda but imo Cool Japan is the most entertaining show NHK World has aired. It wasn't a stodgy documentary or dramatization. The hosts were entertaining and it was interesting to see people's personalities. Not a bad TV credit to have.
Thank God Kansas was one of the very few Midwestern States that stood up Women's and Abortion Rights ! So yeah, Pete can be proud he hales from the other side of THAT RIVER. Hopefully no modern day version of Quantrells Raiders !
You're really reaching to grasp at relevance for kansas when it doesn't have any dude. There was the wizard of oz and that's it, it's over, give it up.
@@ffwast Then according to you Women should suffer there too huh ?.......Unless of course you're part of the "Heritage Foundation" or one of "Putin's UKE BOYS". Who bends over and takes it from Tsar Putin for his paycheck !
even funnier is that they're mocking each other's accents when telling their side of the story
Chris’ Pete impression is genuinely on point
It is actually a great trait of a story teller, and they both have it!

Pete's "Don't you know who I am" has me damn near tears of laughter every time. I can hardly believe that sound came out of his mouth
I love them trying to do each others accents and mannerisms.
What a wholesome story
i love the bantering. more please.
Haha it's great stuff hey
LOL 😆 they have to tell this story again more in depth.
Haha I know it would be a great podcast episode or something
With the two girls also. We need their side of the story too
the only way chris can make friends - accidentally, while they're drunk at a bar
