They really pity those people who, at any cost in a childish and stubborn manner, try to defend Japan by bringing up excuse after excuse to justify the behavior of the Japanese.

My acquaintance was the chairman of one of Japan's largest conglomerates, and also owned the building in which the restaurant was located.
