Nice truck. I bought my 97 in 2000 and started modding it shortly after that. I and a handful of others threw ideas around on the couple forums that were available at the time. Nobody really knew how to get power out of these things. After trial and error, 20 years later here we are. I'm running a set of maddog injectors so if anyone knows that name they know where I'm coming from :-) I love how many vendors there are available now. When I started there was maybe 6. Hypermax being the best and most expensive option. The group on the forums knew there were better and less expensive options. Swamp was one of them. Keep on trucking bud.

Beautiful color, beautiful truck. I have a 94 exactly like it. Except I had to do all new suspension on mine. I put F350 suspension with an add a leaf which makes it 450. A bulletproof Transmission in it up to a thousand pounds of foot torque. I have never raced it or ran it hard. It is never been off road. I pulled a 32 foot fifth wheel with it two or three times a year. It gets 21 miles to the gallon when not Towing. You can't beat it. These are awesome trucks. So sad to see that they're hard to come by. Enjoy it, do not tear it up. She's beautiful.

Nice truck man, I'll be following along, I have a 94.5 7.3 crew cab long bed 4x4 5 speed, my setup is nowhere near as wild as yours, I'm running full force 180/0 tony wildman tuned, bellowed up pipes on a billett ww2 and 1.0 exhaust housing tp38, itll push 40 psi but the turbo hates it and starts passing oil, tymar downpipe to 5 inch exhaust, south bend clutch.... I need more oil and an intercooler. I also have 3.55 gears and i love them as i dont tow 24/7 with it so it helps with the fuel economy, the truck is mainly a tow vehicle we have everything from 16 foot trailer to 53 ft car hauler. I have a couple videos of my truck if u get bored and wanna check them out.

Awesome build. I won't have a OBS with the stock mech pump/fuel bowl. I build my own fuel systems though. When my trans craps out this time I'm going to do an Allison MD3060 swap on it (6 speed auto with push button), I've got one on my bus and I hate autos till it comes to that thing, also getting one with a built in retarder makes life easier. I love the blue interior and yeah they sure are hard to find.
Do you have the blue tooth OBDII adapter where you can use apps on a smart device to pull codes and watch all the PIDS?
Truck sounds awesome, I love how you didn't butcher up the truck and kept it clean looking.

      Or a 1965 is a OBS compared to a 1979....

Very nice truck! What did you do with the switches on your steering wheel? I see you have an aftermarket steering wheel? What did you do with cruise control

Thank you! I left it off actually. I’m sure it could be added with a switch.

@@The73Garage right on. I’m planning on doing a steering wheel swap
Also..wasn’t sure if the switch “talked” to anything. Your truck is still your daily? I tow a heavy 5th wheel and plan on adding small upgrades along the way...

How much did this all cost? I’m really wanna build something like this and I’m just trying to get an idea of how much it would cost.
