I feel like the new fight could be renji and rukia vs uryu. In the trailer renji was looking up and uryu was aiming downwards, both scenes take place in wahrwelt. Rukia being there also gives her something to do, and they try to figure out why he betrayed them etc. Just an idea I got

Shunsui and nanao vs lille and mayuri and nemu vs pernida have no reason being only one episode, you can't even compare it to kenpachi vs gremmy since that is mostly action scenes and power exposition (ie. more akin to an actual fight) while these other 2 have a lot more dialogue, character building moments between the shinigami and full blown backstories. I see them both being 1 and a 1/2 episodes at least, start to finish. Jugo vs bazz also likely will be longer than 1 episode even though most of that fight will be the backstory of the lichtreich and the formation of the star knight corps. Ichigo vs uryu and yhwach vs ichigo, likely will both be 1/2 an episode to 1 episode each MAX. I expect them to be amazingly animated scenes akin to THE FIGHT from episode 7, both short and sweet bursts of adrenaline to tease future conflicts. Hopefully an expanded yhwach vs mimihagi with more ukitake involvement in the battle. An uryu volstandig reveal would be fantastic.
I've been waiting for this fight for so long that I really want to savor it. Really, all of the fights with the SS have the same potential but there was a certain mood with the pernida fight, we don't really get to see intelligence type fighters shine very often like mayuri, urahara and aizen. Shunsuis fight will be a treat as well, I have the feeling the production team is really taking their time to make the last half worth the wait.
I don't think that the Ichigo vs. Ywach would leave an impression of Ichigo getting an upperhand since that fight will mostly end up with Ichigo being controlled to slash down the Soul King. At best, if anything like Ichigo having an upperhand is a "bait" to give more shock value when Ywach controls over Ichigo's hand My take on the Ywach with the Schutzstaffel is more so mostly Ritual, than a "necessary power up to be able to finish soul king". It's like a ritual tribal people do before butchering a cattle or something like that. It adds to the context of the sterniritter being a religious oriented military group. Or it could be akin to ritual/processions done before somebody gets executed. Or something like how priests sanctify through a prayer or a specific sermon/ritual when they burn witches (like to make the act look holy and not just plain barbaric burning of people) Also I think Uryu will save Mayuri gtom something after the Pernida fight. Since they will definitely portray Uryu as full ok Ywach's side. And Uryu saving Mayuri at the end of the cour is a sign of his true allegiance. (I don't really see Uryu actually being bad, mostly due to ehat his default charcter is. If that happens then that would be really an "out of character moment for him".) Also again he read Soken's diary and as we know in the manga that diary was obviously a not a Sternritter progapada converting people to Ywach's side. Since it is mostly about why Doken defected in the first place. Objectively there is no "Reason" for Uryu to be "truly" in Ywach's side. Since in the manga Uryu joined to be able to get close to Ywach and find a chance to Kill him (basically Uryu trying to be Gin) Like I can't see an angle where the anime can spin stuff around to "actually make Uryu side with Ywach at first". Uryu has more reason to fight Ywach and I find zero tangible reason for Uryu to be on his side

Anyone who has watched uryus actions until now would be questioning his motives for joining the wandenreich more vigorously than just settling for him saying something like "I read my grandfather's diary and decided to join with the quincy" it has no substance imo. What I do wonder is how long haschwalth will keep his objections to himself before he openly starts to put forward his scrutiny of uryus loyalty.
Loved the video, but just gotta point out a major flaw in your powerscaling talk at very the end. While powerscaling was a bit confusing in the manga, with the Royal Guards beating the Squad 0 and then losing to the Gotei 13 later, it's worth noting that with the anime has made it clear that the Squad 0 were all massively nerfed while fighting the Royal Guards so that they wouldn't affect the realms with their power, at least until they sacrificed themselves to break Senjumaru's limiter off (just 1 of them tho, not all of them at full power). It's also worth noting not all of the Squad 0 members have earned their position due to their battle prowess, but instead due to their contributions to the Soul Society - for example Kirio doesn't seem particularly remarkable as a fighter, but her inventive mind and her creating the mod souls is what got her there. AND 3rd, it's also worth mentioning that quote about the Squad 0 being stronger than the Gotei 13 combined came BEFORE Kenpachi even had his shikai, let alone his bankai, it was BEFORE Tosh trained and before his Adult form was a thing, it was BEFORE Byakuya trained and leveled up to such a degree that his regular shikai was as strong as his former bankai (implying his bankai is now A LOT stronger than before), etc. Final point: most of the Royal Guard fights against Gotei 13 were not 1vs1's. Mayuri needed Nemu's sacrifice to win, Shunsui needed help from Nanao and her direct counter to Lille, the Gerard fight took post training Byak + Adult Tosh + Shikai and Bankai Kenny to beat him, etc.
If Uryu truly is a villian then, it would be really cool if Ryuken appeared to personally take his son out. Also Isshin should arrive on scene to fight beside Ichigo and Yourchi should use her bankai to take a lot of people out.

I mean to an extent Letting Nanao fight is also a big "character arc" for Shunsui. It's his version of Byakuya acknowledging Rukia. Shunsui for all this time was overly protective over Nanao.

Weird that Yhwach's eyes aren't active against Ichigo in this fight.... is that his decision or can he NOT use them on our boy at this point (pre-eating soul-king) for some reason... Hoping to see my theory that Ichigo is the next "True Quincy" confirmed after those Irazusando scenes showing him with way too many pupils lol, all his friends BECAME spiritually aware over time and as HE got stronger, none were born that way, even the "fullbring" ones weren't priore to their relationship with Ichigo, and all the other fullbringers were getting attacked by Hollows/ spiritually aware from a much younger age then Chad and Orihime, and Ichigo is a Hybrid "True Quincy" closer to the soul king then Ywatch or Haschwalth so power he gives out may be more like Fullbring powers than Quincy ones... He also started displaying Quincy powers pretty much as soon as two Quincy's he hit with energy attacks ( and thus took in his spiritual power) were killed by other people, these being Ebern and Quilge. As soon as Quilge dies Ichigo began to absorb the Jail almost like he was suddenly able to absorb Reishi like a Quincy.... he couldn't absorb Quilge's reishi the way a normal Quincy would prior to his Quincy powers actually being active, so absorbing the "Jail" CAN'T be what activated them. i think Ichigo and Yhwach probably split Quilge and Eberns power 50/50 since they would have died with both of their spiritual energies in them, and after absorbing one full "Quincys" worth of powers/experience, suddenly Ichigo's use Blut like a pure blood.... like Quilge....

Regarding your last point, I think that was fixed in Cour 2. In the end, we had Squad 0 overpower the Quincy, and ultimately win. If it wasn't for the Almighty and Antithesis, the fights would be over. Shunsui, Yoruichi, Toshiro, Byakuya etc. they all ultimately couldn't defeat the Schutzstaffel. Lille gets defeated by Nano's godly (asspull) sword and Gerard gets killed by Yhwach. Only Urahara and Mayuri win their fights, with lots of help, due to the nature of the characters being the two smartest in Bleach (along with Aizen) and having a plan for every single contingency. So, whereas your argument makes sense for the manga, in the anime I don't think it's necessary to weaken the Schutzstaffel for a more even power scaling.
The only reason uryu ever fought beside shinigami forces was because of ichigo. His instincts knew ichigo was Quincy, always reminding that he is not doing any of it for soul reapers. He just can’t resist helping a Quincy even if they are shinigami themself.

I am hyped to see if Renji is actually fighting Gerard on screen instead of off panel like in the manga. I want to see more of Renji of course, but seeing Gerard fighting a gauntlet of all these characters would be incredible and to see it built up until the big fight in cour 4 would be awesome. It will be a shame if Ichibei vs Yhwach doesn’t get some dope battle sequences, but considering how this fight is basically over it most likely won’t happen. One of my fav fights was an insane letdown in the anime. It should have easily been one of the most insanely animated fights yet it wasn’t. I do think that the rest will be good though, I hope Pierrot understands that we want these fights to be animated and adapted well. I hope they get their act together with cour 3. I think they have with the extra time and them seemingly having a bigger focus on animation. I am hyped for these fights and to see what new stuff they bring.

It wasn't gotei 13 that won against the elite guard, it was the combination of vizards, espadas, fullbringers, Urahara, Yoruichi, and just the technology of Mayuri and the unlimited potential of Kenpachi that got them close to winning. Lille's bird thingies were still knocking about and Gerard was still alive until that one point. So, no, gotei members didn't outright win, and they didn't prove that they're stronger in sheer power to squad zero, however, they did prove their potential and their inventiveness.
It depends how the anime handles it as this is an similar scenario in how Ukitake used the Shihoin shield to stop the Sokyoku in the Soul society arc. Maybe we get more info around these clan artifact weapons since they have a divine purpose and probably related to the past before the creation of zanpakuto.
The only powerscaling issue I see is powerscaling itself, it's the dumbest thing ever to have happened to the anime/manga community, trying to scale megagigaton and lightyears my balls to multi-universally earth sized scalled galaxy level nonsens my moon ass sized speed fit, I hate it. I thought everybody and their grandma undersaood how reputation works, it's not a REAL thing, the sentence "they're stronger than the whole gotei 13" is not to be taken literally. Everyone act like characters in manga are not here to portray REAL peoples, they're not some kind of robots just here to dump exposition that are 100% accurate each time, in real life peoples are liars, they make mistakes, they spread false narrative and hype up exegerated reputations, that's not the first time in manga nor in Bleach that we see exagerated and blown out of proportion reputation, that's just how things work, that does not equal "powerscaling problem", anime are not maths. If A beats B, and B beats C, it doesn't automatically means that A beats C, it never works like that, not in anime, not in combat sports, not in team sports, everything depends on conditions, luck, environement, players, preparation, etc. + If I wanted to play this game I could just say that they fought the whole SS force at once and Ichibei wasn't with them, you could argue Ichibei represent a good chunck of the D0 power and that the D0 was nerfed because of their immense power, also Askin was beaten by Urahara, not considered a member of the gotei 13 at the time, one of the 5 War Potentials, Gerald was never beaten, they took Lille down with a deus ex machina sword. Pernida is a good example, do you really think, at your core, that it's a "problem" that mayuri could, with a lot of difficulty and by letting his most precious creation dies in the process, beat only one of the Elite Guard members ? While the D0 minus their leader was going against all the SS at once ? Mayuri ? One of the most resourfull and haxed character of the whole verse, second only to the likes of Urahara and Aizen ? Do you think Soul Society Uryu is stronger than the whole D0 and Elite Guard reunited because he could beat Mayuri who later kills Pernida ? I think there's zero chance they give 2 episodes to each Pernida vs Mayuri and Shunsui vs Lille. That way I don't see how they will add any anime exclusive scenes. If I had to guess the best we could hope is that since the fights are almost back to back, the last 3 episodes could be all them. The nightmare scenario would be giving both fights only an episode which would be tragic and would butcher both fights
The greatest boxing matches were where the two combatants were similar in strength. I would like for Ichigo to give Yhwach a run for his money in round 2, but beating him, in any sort of sense, would be taking it too far. Yhwach is that man, the entity that can't be beaten. Plus, Ichibe getting destroyed at the end of the fight vs Yhwach, but then Ichigo proving much stronger would also not work imo.

Ahem Flame you forgot various pieces of lore. It is stated that Squad Zero has the Oken who empowers them and most importantly the scutzhstaffel haven't release their true powers. Finally Wahrwelt is still a huge factor because Ywhach created it with the SK powers. In conclusion RG are impressive but weaker than the true power scutzhstaffel.
I hope they change the scene with ichigo and askin. Maybe have ichigo actually beat askin and have him standing above him instead of the other way around. Ichigo and his friends leave because they think askin is dead but we know his death dealing will keep him alive and he'll be back and up just in time for his fight with Urahara.

I don't get why some are not okay or can't make sense with the 3 schutzstaffels losing to soul reapers that are not from squad 0. If squad zero went all out fighting the schutzstaffels they would've perform way better than the characters who defeated Lille askin and pernida did. Kyoraku lost to lille and won because of nanaos assistance with hax. yoruichi lost to askin. urahara was in bad shape and needed grimmjows help and it was a sneak attack Mayuri would've lost if it wasn't for nemu and he was in terrible shape after the fight. None of the characters who killed the schutzstaffels fought them alone none of the characters won of their own individual strength and abilities and wasn't even in the state to walk after their fight ended.

AND 3rd, it's also worth mentioning that quote about the Squad 0 being stronger than the Gotei 13 combined came BEFORE Kenpachi even had his shikai, let alone his bankai, it was BEFORE Tosh trained and before his Adult form was a thing, it was BEFORE Byakuya trained and leveled up to such a degree that his regular shikai was as strong as his former bankai (implying his bankai is now A LOT stronger than before), etc.
Final point: most of the Royal Guard fights against Gotei 13 were not 1vs1's. Mayuri needed Nemu's sacrifice to win, Shunsui needed help from Nanao and her direct counter to Lille, the Gerard fight took post training Byak + Adult Tosh + Shikai and Bankai Kenny to beat him, etc.
If Uryu truly is a villian then, it would be really cool if Ryuken appeared to personally take his son out. Also Isshin should arrive on scene to fight beside Ichigo and Yourchi should use her bankai to take a lot of people out.
I personally don't mind the end of the shunsui fight, I mean...what did you want, shunsui used up what he had and it almost worked and he got help, urahara did the same, grimjow for the win

I mean to an extent Letting Nanao fight is also a big "character arc" for Shunsui. It's his version of Byakuya acknowledging Rukia.

Weird that Yhwach's eyes aren't active against Ichigo in this fight.... is that his decision or can he NOT use them on our boy at this point (pre-eating soul-king) for some reason... Hoping to see my theory that Ichigo is the next "True Quincy" confirmed after those Irazusando scenes showing him with way too many pupils lol, all his friends BECAME spiritually aware over time and as HE got stronger, none were born that way, even the "fullbring" ones weren't priore to their relationship with Ichigo, and all the other fullbringers were getting attacked by Hollows/ spiritually aware from a much younger age then Chad and Orihime, and Ichigo is a Hybrid "True Quincy" closer to the soul king then Ywatch or Haschwalth so power he gives out may be more like Fullbring powers than Quincy ones... He also started displaying Quincy powers pretty much as soon as two Quincy's he hit with energy attacks ( and thus took in his spiritual power) were killed by other people, these being Ebern and Quilge. As soon as Quilge dies Ichigo began to absorb the Jail almost like he was suddenly able to absorb Reishi like a Quincy.... he couldn't absorb Quilge's reishi the way a normal Quincy would prior to his Quincy powers actually being active, so absorbing the "Jail" CAN'T be what activated them. i think Ichigo and Yhwach probably split Quilge and Eberns power 50/50 since they would have died with both of their spiritual energies in them, and after absorbing one full "Quincys" worth of powers/experience, suddenly Ichigo's use Blut like a pure blood.... like Quilge....

Regarding your last point, I think that was fixed in Cour 2. In the end, we had Squad 0 overpower the Quincy, and ultimately win. If it wasn't for the Almighty and Antithesis, the fights would be over.
Shunsui, Yoruichi, Toshiro, Byakuya etc. they all ultimately couldn't defeat the Schutzstaffel. Lille gets defeated by Nano's godly (asspull) sword and Gerard gets killed by Yhwach. Only Urahara and Mayuri win their fights, with lots of help, due to the nature of the characters being the two smartest in Bleach (along with Aizen) and having a plan for every single contingency.
So, whereas your argument makes sense for the manga, in the anime I don't think it's necessary to weaken the Schutzstaffel for a more even power scaling.
The only reason uryu ever fought beside shinigami forces was because of ichigo. His instincts knew ichigo was Quincy, always reminding that he is not doing any of it for soul reapers. He just can’t resist helping a Quincy even if they are shinigami themself.

I am hyped to see if Renji is actually fighting Gerard on screen instead of off panel like in the manga. I want to see more of Renji of course, but seeing Gerard fighting a gauntlet of all these characters would be incredible and to see it built up until the big fight in cour 4 would be awesome.
It will be a shame if Ichibei vs Yhwach doesn’t get some dope battle sequences, but considering how this fight is basically over it most likely won’t happen. One of my fav fights was an insane letdown in the anime. It should have easily been one of the most insanely animated fights yet it wasn’t.
I do think that the rest will be good though, I hope Pierrot understands that we want these fights to be animated and adapted well. I hope they get their act together with cour 3. I think they have with the extra time and them seemingly having a bigger focus on animation. I am hyped for these fights and to see what new stuff they bring.

It wasn't gotei 13 that won against the elite guard, it was the combination of vizards, espadas, fullbringers, Urahara, Yoruichi, and just the technology of Mayuri and the unlimited potential of Kenpachi that got them close to winning. Lille's bird thingies were still knocking about and Gerard was still alive until that one point. So, no, gotei members didn't outright win, and they didn't prove that they're stronger in sheer power to squad zero, however, they did prove their potential and their inventiveness.

It depends how the anime handles it as this is an similar scenario in how Ukitake used the Shihoin shield to stop the Sokyoku in the Soul society arc. Maybe we get more info around these clan artifact weapons since they have a divine purpose and probably related to the past before the creation of zanpakuto.
The only powerscaling issue I see is powerscaling itself, it's the dumbest thing ever to have happened to the anime/manga community, trying to scale megagigaton and lightyears my balls to multi-universally earth sized scalled galaxy level nonsens my moon ass sized speed fit, I hate it.

While the D0 minus their leader was going against all the SS at once ? Mayuri ? One of the most resourfull and haxed character of the whole verse, second only to the likes of Urahara and Aizen ? Do you think Soul Society Uryu is stronger than the whole D0 and Elite Guard reunited because he could beat Mayuri who later kills Pernida ? OR maybe it has more to do with situation, luck, characters personnality and awarness, environement, preaparation, etc.

Shunsui forced a base lile barro into vollstandig whereas oetsu faced a small version of vollstandig lile barro.

I think there's zero chance they give 2 episodes to each Pernida vs Mayuri and Shunsui vs Lille. That way I don't see how they will add any anime exclusive scenes. If I had to guess the best we could hope is that since the fights are almost back to back, the last 3 episodes could be all them. The nightmare scenario would be giving both fights only an episode which would be tragic and would butcher both fights

The greatest boxing matches were where the two combatants were similar in strength. I would like for Ichigo to give Yhwach a run for his money in round 2, but beating him, in any sort of sense, would be taking it too far. Yhwach is that man, the entity that can't be beaten. Plus, Ichibe getting destroyed at the end of the fight vs Yhwach, but then Ichigo proving much stronger would also not work imo.

I hope they change the scene with ichigo and askin. Maybe have ichigo actually beat askin and have him standing above him instead of the other way around. Ichigo and his friends leave because they think askin is dead but we know his death dealing will keep him alive and he'll be back and up just in time for his fight with Urahara.

Hopefully she gets tied to uryu for some reason and the next version of nemu is only mad to replace this nemu. Tbis uryu takes something away from mayuri
I don't get why some are not okay or can't make sense with the 3 schutzstaffels losing to soul reapers that are not from squad 0. If squad zero went all out fighting the schutzstaffels they would've perform way better than the characters who defeated Lille askin and pernida did. Kyoraku lost to lille and won because of nanaos assistance with hax. yoruichi lost to askin. urahara was in bad shape and needed grimmjows help and it was a sneak attack Mayuri would've lost if it wasn't for nemu and he was in terrible shape after the fight. None of the characters who killed the schutzstaffels fought them alone none of the characters won of their own individual strength and abilities and wasn't even in the state to walk after their fight ended.
