How do you like it? My dad is going to place an order for his (40i M Sport fully loaded) either next month of the month after, we’re not ready to order rn bc we have plans to travel this summer and don’t want the car to show up while we’re in the middle of vacation + we don’t need the car till mid-October (dealership said it’ll take a month and a half for the car to come)

i am always star struck!!!! i have wanted an X5 since 2004!! i know that seems like a long time, but never give up on your dreams!! I finally test drove an X5 in 2019, and it was everything i ever imagined, and more!!! i will own one someday soon!!

I like the way this one was specked out basically. I prefer the metallic white with Tartufo Merino leather. On a different note some reviewers have mentioned that the AC fan motor can be a little noisy on medium to high speeds. I was hoping that you would have addressed that issue and the lack of physical buttons to control the air and heat.

I CAN’T WAIT for my dad to get one in the coming few months, the 2025 X5 is fabulous, we looked at a bunch of vehicles and the only other one we enjoyed the way we enjoyed the X5 is the Porsche Cayenne but when we speced both the Cayenne is $30k more and it probs cost twice as much to maintain as the X5, we want a 40i M Sport with every single option in Tanzanite Blue Metallic, thank you so much for this review!
Great review...as always! I really like the BMW X5. I do think the M Sport options look better with dark colors though, like Carbon Black and especially Black Sapphire, because of the combination gloss black/matte black grill fascia and side vents. In my opinion, this makes the vehicle look like it's wearing a fake nose, mustache and sideburns. The darker colors make this not stand out as much. Otherwise, they are fantastic vehicles.
I am looking for a 2024 or 2025 430i or M440i Compatible in Red ?

These X5s are amazing, MUCH better than the rest of the competition (other than the Range Rover Sport, Audi Q8, and Porsche Cayenne, all of which cost more money than the X5)
Hey Tom! Does the AC blow through the wireless charging pad area? My car doesn't and it leads to the cell phone overheating then the wireless Apple carplay stops working
Hi! That is a great question. Unfortunately, it does not have any air blowing through the wireless charging pad. That is definitely something that should be added.

I own a 2015 jeep grand cherokee 4x2 limited trim how ever we are in the search for a new family suv so we are in the market and looking right now the 2025 BMW X5 40i or a 2024 Jeep grand cherokee summit reserve 2 row,the jeep grand cherokee is 7800dlls cheaper than the bmw,my wife and I love the grand cherokee summit reserve looks and features like head up display,the leather of the seats etc etc but BMW is BMW with those 375hp and almost 400lb of torque instead of the 293hp and 250lb of torque of the grand cherokee 3.6 v6 pentastar engine that I must say it's been really great in our 2015 I personally don't like the hurricane engine because of the problems in the grand wagoneer

Is there a reason that now BMW USA doesn’t provide FULL adaptive LED lights in the US with all the new LCI models? Another thing that BMW eliminated for the US. There is no swiveling function (curve adapt). This means, when you turn your steering wheel to the left or right, the lights don’t turn to the bend. You would think each year it should get better and not worse. Why did they remove the BMW “M” clip from the rear calipers? No rear door comfort access? No rear door puddle lights? Seriously?

Just purchased a new one. No sunglasses holder. Dealer said not to use phone charger, will over heat. Hate ac/heater controls being in the screen.
I have similar feelings. I own a 2025 Acura mdx type-s and 2025 BMW x5 xdrive40i (silver anniversary edition) and think the mdx is sportier, more luxurious, and better in many ways. The physical controls are nice in the mdx. The location of the phone charger in the x5 is terrible for those who like to see the screen or easily access it when needed. My wife’s iPhone overheated on the charging pad in the x5 because the compartment has no ventilation. The seats in the mdx are more comfortable, and the massaging seats are amazing. If I had to do it over again, I would have either bought another Acura mdx, or looked for a used x5 with low mileage. The Acura offers more bang for your buck
What’s the difference between the 2024 and the 2025? I have the 2024 and I don’t see any difference.
basically nothing bc they keep basically the same thing for 3 years-4 years before changing it
With low profile tires these bmw x5 don’t Perform well in ice or snow

I think BMW reserves the B&W sound systems for the top models in their premium vehicles due to equipment availability from the manufacturer.

How long before it breaks down or has any basic problems? In 1 year it will lose 10k+ of its value. Id love to give BMW a shot but their reputation of being junk and just lease vehicles is widely known.

You are right, perhaps for you in particular. This vehicle has a much higher available performance envelop than the Mazda, that some people enjoy and appreciate. The Mazda is a great car at a competitive price in its specific performance class though.
