I have 2024 version, which I believe pretty much same as 2025. The only thing I wish they could keep the gear knob instead of a small bar. The highway mpg is much higher than advertised. I can reach 33-37 mpg. Overall very pleasant driving experience.
I own a 2024 X5 50e and we returned my wife's Q5 lease and opted for the 2024 Lexus RX350. I can honestly say for 99% of the population the RX is plenty of car. I wanted the X5 M60i, but was told I had to build one, so I opted for the X5 50e. Both amazing vehicles.
Having just traded my sq5 for a x5 40i there is no way the car has a sub 5 sec 0-60. It’s plenty quick, faster than a base cayenne, q8 etc. it is not as fast as my old SQ5. I wanted a slightly bigger more genteel ride. I got a fantastic trade for a ‘25 x drive. 900 miles bought from a ford dealer. Two bmw dealers said to take the deal. Otherwise my next car would have been a q8. I like the ride of Audi. It would have cost me another $14k to get a ‘24 q8 certified prestige with 11k miles.
Pretty annoyed by several features (that I don't understand) that came with my 2025 X5. Open the door and the radio turns on. Turn the car off, get out of the car and the radio stays on until you lock the door. The vehicle keeps beeping while fueling up, walking around my car cleaning windows, or throwing out garbage while I have my key in my pocket.
@@ToddWirtz your air conditioning turns off at a red light or when not in motion. That’s the worst. Apparently this company has never driven its own car on a highways stuck in traffic on a hot day
Active cruise control is included in the Driving Assistance Professional Package (ZDY). Height-adjustable air suspension is available as a standalone option: 2-axle air suspension (2VR).
Is there a reason that now BMW USA doesn’t provide FULL adaptive LED lights in the US with all the new LCI models? Another thing that BMW eliminated for the US. There is no swiveling function (curve adapt). This means, when you turn your steering wheel to the left or right, the lights don’t turn to the bend. You would think each year it should get better and not worse. Why did they remove the BMW “M” clip from the rear calipers? No rear door comfort access? No rear door puddle lights? Seriously?
@@Ryan2022 Says BMW. You only get Full LED with Cornering Light. That's it. There is no swiveling function (curve adapt). This means, when you turn your steering wheel to the left or right, the lights don’t turn to the bend.
Test drove the 2025, immediately noticed they moved the heated steering wheel button from a great spot *on the steering wheel* into the climate system. Stupid.
It’s not as nice as the Hyundai one which gives you round gauges and why did they move to this from the 2023 which had a much better integration I don’t understand this
if you need to add parking assistance package, than you need to not be on the road. ridiculous that people rely on a parking system to park a car. go back to driving school.

True, pretty sure they changed that last year with the update. Anything climate control related will be an adjustment with the new I drive 8 system 👍🏼

It’s really true unfortunately. Seems like they were going for minimalist but it came out as low-effort and kinda small. Beautiful car though.

I really can't stand the blue trim being standard no matter the interior config on the x3 - that's a no go for me.
2020 version looks better
plastic seats, no heated rear seats but a very fast car...
It does have rear heated seats and leather as an option
