I usually use a hot temp reducer (straight, 85-95 temp) and lightly wet in the sealer edge. Works very well as long as you don’t over wet it and run. Don’t ask me how I know👀👍

I’m a retired PPG Automotive Refinish National Trainer. I’ve also worked for BASF and DuPont. I’ve been a round! You use the same techniques I’ve been using for years. The blend almost always comes out really nice. Keep it up!

I do my sealer blend the same.. sometimes I use fade out thinner on the edges to make them super smooth. Love the base blend technique! Gonna try that soon. Job came out awesome, thanks for sharing Kandy man 👊🏽

Do you ever use reducer on your sealer edges? Like a melt in clear or anything?

    • @kandyman5315

No I don't really have any issue with edges sealer is very good.

@@kandyman5315 came out really good. I use sikkens colorbbuild plus for sealer I never used to melt in my sealer because I didn't even jnownit was a thing. But had issues with halos from.the edge of sealer sometimes on tough colors... I wish I would of thought to sand it with 2000 before base lol... looks like it worked great I may have to give it a try.
