Important note left out in this video: Not all Logitech USB receivers are "Unifying" receivers. For this to work, you MUST have a "Unifying" type receiver. Logitech Unifying receivers have an orange star printed on the top of the receiver.

I just came back from a trip and realized I lost my mouse receiver. I followed the instructions and now I'm able to use my K360 keyboard with my M317 mouse. Great!
This entire strategy looked GREAT!. I downloaded to my MAC and it said... WE don't do windows on your MAC... I searched and re-downloaded a MAC version of the same tool and it WORKED...AMAZING!!! Thank you! it WORKS!

Thank you, I knew you were supposed to be able to put up to six devices on one receiver, but Logitech doesn't bother to tell you how. Trying to set up a keyboard and mouse for a Toshiba FireTV and after I found your video on my phone, I went in the house (tv is in my shop) and used my laptop to pair them up. Went back out and plugged them into the tv, works fine now. Also loaded Chrome on the tv rather than messing anymore with that frustrating Amazon Silk browser.

I tried all the other troubleshoot videos to get the keyboard running... so I watched your video... and downloaded the unifying program and in seconds I was connected to the receiver for the mouse.... again thank you for saving my good keyboard from being thrown in the trash :)
9/30/21 Thank you, I found a K400r keyboard at the SalvationArmy thrift store for just $3.It had no dongle in it .I allready had a M570 mouse and now thanks your video I have them both working , on a chromebook!! I also ordered a reconditioned receiver on Amazon for $5 but now,I dont have to wait for it to be delivered.

Thanks for this video! I was able to get my m325c mouse working with a USB dongle that I had from a previous logitech mouse. For some reason the USB dongle of the m325c does not work so well, so I was glad the unifying USB dongle was able to work with it.

Best!, I had the 2 same Logitech M221 Mouse One old Logitech with buttons not working and another one whose receiver was lost. Paired them. Now the new one is working with the old one's dongle. *And yes it works for non unifying recievers* Ps - For windows 11 the software is not available , so use windows 10's software instead. One thing to note is to act once the application is launched ( like plugging USB ) . Try is a few times for me it took 4 tries .

Interesting, I've had that problem in the past of having to use 2 Logitech receivers and didn't know you could combine them. I'm using a Corsair keyboard now so not an issue. Could be handy when I upgrade though.

I got a "renewed" MX keyboard from amazon for $20 less, and the instructions on the box were indecipherable. Turns out that old program is essential to get it going. You can't just "pair it" (i think that's for blue tooth.) So that's probably how I saved $20, overcame the new engineers idiot infographic, and got my keyboard working - all thanks to you. Nice keyboard!

I just got my Logitech MX keys and I had the Logitech MX Master 3 and this is so good in order to have only one usb-port because it seems that the connection with USB is slightly better than to connect it by bluetooth. These instructions still work in April of 2023. Now I only have to move one receiver back and forth between my work laptop and my personal laptop. I was hoping to be able to link both devices to each receiver and keep one receiver in each laptop. That would have been ideal. Unfortunately the receiver for my brand new mouse is not a unifying receiver, so it will just live in it's little storage compartment, unused and unloved.

thank you for this video. I did this in the past but I recall having to buy a special universal dongle for multiple devices. If this was the case, I'm glad logitech made all their dongles universal. This may reduce their bottom line, but user convenience is so much more valuable. I love logitech and will likely continue to use them for along time.
They still sell devices with and without unifying receivers, sadly it’s not always clear when you buy a product if both the device and receiver are unifying. Since I’ve made this video, Logitech have introduced two new incompatible standards alongside the “unifying standard” (orange sun icon). One is called Bolt and is aimed at businesses, the other one is Lightspeed. I have a feeling their bottom line is just fine 😄

Yes that’s both done in Camtasia. OBS can’t do that live, but there’s a tool called Pointerfocus.com that can create a highlight, I use it in live presentations all the time. For the zooming, there’s a trick you can use in OBS to get a similar effect: ruclips.net/video/lwToJYpOFxk/видео.html
You can actually transfer a lightspeed gaming product to another dongle also with this software. I lost the receiver from my G pro wireless mouse which has a special lightspeed dongle and I couldnt find a replacement (very expensive mouse didnt want to re buy). I realized I had an older g305 lightspeed mouse and dongle so I used the program to sync the spare receiver to my fancy g pro wireless mouse and its flawless! Apparently you can't connect a lightspeed device to a normal logitech receiver though has to be lightspeed.
