- Here, all the basic sword tricks and the much-requested Snake. All of these can be replicated with a longsword! In fact, this 1200g lightsaber isn't much lighter than my 1700g steel blunt. :)
We got this awesome lightsaber from saberforge.com - if you want one, there's no better place to go. These things are as sturdy as mandalorian iron!

Indeed but skinner stick is more powerful and I deal with that that’s like a two bladed lightsaber instead of one
If its a bamboo stick, try double sided lightsaber tricks, apart if its not THAT long

Ke We I’m Fr. As much as I hate the force awakens and the last Jedi the only thing I like about them is the lightsaber fighting. They’re hacking at each other rather than just blocking and putting on a show
Alexander_martinez ...the fight scenes in the sequel trilogy are atrocious my dude. The prequels had way better lightsaber duels than that; plus, the OT wasn’t that advanced because: 1. Nobody had done what they were doing before, and 2. They didn’t have the technology they do now.

Mace Windu was a Jedi Master, but lets be honest. When he said that the Chancellor was too dangerous to be left alive, that was a very dark side thing to say. Chancellor Palpatine previously told Anakin that Count Dooku was too dangerous to be left alive.

Since his is based on broadswords from medieval times, I’m sure he could do it, but probably a lot slower like he does in the movies
He did the snake in the Force Awakens actually, I believe it was when he was deflecting a blast
Dude a crossguarded sword is quite easy to handle if you know how to use it and much safer in combat than one without the guard

@@cadkls I think you're forgetting that normal crossguards don't decimate your body if they so much as touch you... He can't even rest his hand near the top without his fingers being cut off lmao. It'd make his wrist be pushed against the crossguard when he turns it, something that wouldn't be a problem for normal knights, and so yeah. "Ah, my hand!" is about right.
Wow, the music and the place that you're in really makes it feels like you're in Jakku and Tatooine. Even at times when you spin your saber looks almost as if its from the movies.
I could add some CGI to the lightsaber, but I thought it unnecessary. :) Glad you appreciate the setting!

Naah, Mace Windu use the "Vapaad" form whilst this presented form is more build to deflect droid blaster shots. I'll consider this form the "unofficial" 8th lightsaber form.

If these are the basics i can't imagine the intermidate tricks
it involves backflips as well as meditating while in a heated battle

Seeing as how bullets travel much faster than blaster shots, that's not inaccurate (much better than a Stormtrooper's aim). Then again, this was from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, so bullets were not around.
The sand people used slugs/bullets.
Cade Thumann Anakin slaughtered an entire village. I don't think they showed him going against their guns though.

I suspect that Jedi could just use their telekinetic powers to stop bullets - which doesn't seem to work so well with blaster shots (pure energy) (despite Vader in Empire Strikes Back, who also stops a Blaster shot by Solo with his hand, and Kylo Ren, who also stops a blaster shot in the latest movie's first scene).
Jedi can deflect bullets.
I better learn this in case a girl wants to know how skilled I am with a light saber.

Adam driver is actually pretty damn scary with that lightsaber because of how angrily and unstable he wields it. I think it actually fits well for his character. Now... Rey on the other hand.... that’s just sad.

Practice with a stick so you don't break your lightsaber
Polycarbonate- it’s what riot shields are made out of. He could literally beat till you bled with this saber & it would still be perfectly unscathed.
actually that lightsaber he uses is Duel/Combat ready which means you can punch stuff with it without having the worries that something breaks
No need. This isn't a shitty ForceFX/Legacy/Savi's saber. Saberforge makes full combat-ready sabers with polycarbonate blades, and the LEDs are either inside the hilt or on a much stronger in-blade system designed by PlecterLabs.

I've been practicing all of this stuff with longsword. To hell with all the people who say it's "impractical." When you're honing these moves, you sharpen your blade awareness, edge alignment, balance, and grip strength. And doing Ciri's training sequence for an hour straight is not a bad workout.

This popped up in my recommended, glad I watched because I almost completely forgot how to do some of it. The snake always have me trouble, and I almost never switch hands because I'm usually using a wooden weapon so that hurts like hell if not done properly. I had to watch some of the things again just to see what I was doing wrong. Great video, and great tutorial/recap for those who already have some experience doing this. :D

My favorite move is the double twirl behind the back transition from one hand to the other. Along with the 8 and snake it looks amazing. Working on getting my blade tip higher on the snake so the loops are smoother.

As a 16 year old nerd in isolation, I love this! Not only can I learn new moves for choreography (with a stick/pole in place of a lightsaber because I don't have one) but I feel like I'm being trained by an actual Jedi! It's very soothing!!
