Hopefully this helps someone who's power window switch/buttons break and they can't get thier window closed. I was panicking when I found out my window wouldn't close. I found a way to close it finally! I will need a whole new module. I will post a video of replacing it as soon as I get one. THIS video is just for getting your window closed in an emergency. You will break your module if pry button off. Mine was already broken so I felt I've got nothing to lose. It felt a little loose the day before it broke off. Got it closed👍. Replace Power Window Switch.
Thanks, I needed that. Called the dealer and they wanted 120 us dollars for the switch. Found it on eBay for 20 dollars. I just ordered it on a Saturday so I will not expect it for ten days or so. Either way, I needed to know how to get the window up and down. Thank goodness my switch broke with the window up.

Thanks for this video. I was able to put my window up so my care would be secure overnight. I needed to completely break out the rest of the lever to get to the other levers. Next step...replacing the control panel.

This SAVED me! Bought a replacement for $25 on eBay and it WONT work! Watched this and was able to at least get window up before the rain.

This has been a LIFESAVER. I just let my window up. I let my window down, in the driver thru to get coffee the other day, in the midst of a snowstorm on my way home and my window would come back up.
I was able to stop at ACE Hardware and get some plastic as a temporary fix. I'm ordering a panel BUT this quick remedy definitely works.
Awesome I knew it would help to show people how to get the windows back up. I was in a panic too😂. I had my little kitty and it was going to pour down rain. Glad you got it up and I have a video on replacement if you want to check that out.

Most DEFINITELY been riding around for like some months with ceramic wrap around it randomly came see this video I think it was the first one next thing ya know I took the wrap off even tho the inside of the button was different the concept was the same cause I had the exact same issue he faced in the video (drivers side window) and it worked 10/20/23 ‼️ PRECIATE THAT BRO ‼️💎

Thank you SO MUCH! I just got home from work, and the window would not roll back up on my 2013 Town and Country. I could tell that the switch was loose (could not feel the pressure to open or shut the window, not like the other switches, which worked perfectly fine on the driver's door panel). I pried off the small switch cover and saw the broken white lever. I stuck a blade down and pressed to close the window, and it worked perfectly. I will now get a replacement switch panel. Much appreciated!

Came to say this video just helped me, mine broke as i was driving
Perfect! Same exact problem with mine. I was able to get the window up before the storms come tomorrow. It took 2 minutes to break off the plastic button and push a screwdriver down into the socket. Thank you for this information!! Ordered a new control module on Amazon. Will arrive in 2 days. It is Sunday on Memorial Weekend and the dealers are closed today and Monday, so this saved the day!

This was great. Less complicated than jumping the switch with a wire. Less time consuming too. My switch wouldn't roll the window up so I broke it off after watching this so I could access the mechanism underneath. Used a small flat head from my smart phone repair kit, and played with the movements. Caught it on the 2nd try.

I got my new switch off of e-bay. I have a video on replacing it pinned in the comments. The whole switch brand new was very reasonable. Just make sure you put in your make and model when ordering it.

Worked on a 2017 Subaru, mechanism a bit different and I used a 2.4 mm flathead. But anyways you saved me from having to tear my door apart lol thanks
Yeah wouldn't want to take the door apart for nothing 🙂. It's a lot easier to replace the switch. I have a video for that also.

Me too🙂! It's the best thing about the internet. Yep the buttons come off easily. I can see them getting lost. I got my switch off of eBay $22.00. I swear it's already broke. They are cheap plastic buttons. I got a replacement video too🙂

@@Olly.sunshine lol....now my driver's power seat motor has to be replaced...it was the fuse at first so I changed it and it started operating ...a few months later it stopped again ..I changed the fuse and it won't move....oh well....I saw the video and I might have someone else do it 😂

The switch's break easily. I'm sure a lot of people have this problem. It's an easy replacement.

@@konapuppy10 it worked perfectly I ordered my part off Amazon, you have to make sure you order the correct pin configuration
I got mine off of e- Bay mine works good too. Please check the all pins where the connection goes. One of them may have gotten pushed over a small bit. Make sure they are the same as the old one too.

Those switch's are breaking after a lot of uses. Some probably with not much use. They don't make stuff to last nowadays
