- I visited my favorite milky hot spring in the deep inside of Mt. Nikkō region, Japan. I fell in love with this miraculous water, and I keep going back there. My pleasure! Thanks for watching it☺ By the way, if you are thinking about going there, there is also a hot spring called Yumoto (written as 湯本) in Hakone (in Kanagawa Prefecture) near Tokyo, so please make sure to look for Yumoto (written as 湯元) in Nikkō, Tochigi Prefecture.

Thank you so much for your comment! Yes, it was unfortunate that the Buddhist temple was closed. I, however, visited there again in April and tried their hot spring bath inside the temple building. The next episode will be about food offered at my favorite inn, but after the video, I will make another one about the experience taking a bath at the temple. So, please check it out😉 Oku Nikkō Yumoto Hot Spring is beautiful and relaxing, so next time when you go to Japan, I hope you have a chance to visit there.
Oh my god Sachiko-san, were you alright from climbing up and down the snowy stairs?! Climbing those stairs looked kind of dangerous but if I go there in the winter I will take a risk. Yes, it was quite scary, and as you said, it could be dangerous (so I wouldn't recommend), but I was very happy that I made it! The water quality of Nikkō Yumoto Hot Spring is super good, so please try it if you are in the area✨
