Krystal at BAGODAY just mentioned you on her channel and had purchased a kit from MaryMaxim to make for her charity auction. She said you had a channel and I had to look for you. Well, I found you and I’m so happy I did. I can’t afford to purchase kits, but with all your tutorials, I’ll be able to follow them and have as many of your designs as I can. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of crochet with all of the community. Mosaic has been a mystery for me. You make it look so much easier than I had thought. Thank you again. I’m sure we will be spending a great deal of fun time together!😊
I watched Crystal's videos too! I perked right up and said, "I know about her!! I love her designs!" Ha! Glad you checked out MJ's designs, Diana! I bet you won't be disappointed!

Hi MJ! Crystal from Bag-O-Day bought kit with your pattern! She wants to auction finished afgans/ blankets for animal shelters. It was such a nice moment to have both of channels I follow intertwined! Give hug to your beautiful daughter and I hope everything is going as it should! 💗
Hi and thank you for sharing your beautiful video tutorials! I want to ask you for your opinion on using self stripping yarn for this pattern. I would love to see you use self stripping yarn in your future projects. I also left you a comment on one of your other tutorials regarding making a wave pattern reflecting the irregularities of the oceans waves, to make blankets, scarfs, and wheelchair afghans that I may donate to my neighbors and friends living near the Jersey shore. Thank you again for your help.
MJ, Do you consider the Heatherly to be a full size 4 medium weight or a bit thinner, between a size 3 and 4? I ask because the Brava Worsted is a bit thinner than a full 4. The blanket is lovely. I want to try this technique.

I purchased this pattern, and I consider myself at least an intermediate level. But, I am having difficulties with this pattern. I am not good with the charts, I am old school. Can you please help me? I really want to make this with some special yarn I purchased. ❤😊
If you have Facebook I suggest posting in my Facebook community group with your question. Many people have made this pattern in the group and share great helpful tips on reading the chart. Or send an email to me at mjsoffthehook@gmail.com and I can send you an image of how my daughter writes on chart to understand it better. 😊 facebook.com/groups/363218121026907/
I have no idea what I am doing wrong but I am missing a stitch on row 2. I have counted and counted and counted and have 193 and when I get the end of row 2 I don’t have 3 sc. I only have 2. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
thank you for vídeo but i did not find the free pattern its 8 dollars not free, could you please tell me where its free? thank you very much i m waiting for it

Crystal from Bagoday is the sweetest n most generous. Following Bagoday tutorials n yarn reviews taught me so much
This actually looks pretty simple now it's been shown like this! Guess I'm more of a visual learner. Thank you 😊
Hata off to all who make mosaic patterns 👏🏻
The blue is luscious 🥰 Intermediate level must include the patience that currently eludes me. Beautiful blanket.
Yes! This one is a little easier 💗
I absolutely love that blanket. It’s very pretty.
Currently making this beauty. Fantastic pattern, easy to follow and made in my favourite yarn. Just love the Heatherly range. Thank you MJ❤
Thank you very much for this wonderful pattern intitally i tried alot but bcuz of beauty of pattern m addicted to try out ....finally i am done wid this thank you
did you find this pattern for free?
This we be so pretty as a shrug, sweater, or cardigan as well. Love you videos!
Absolutely beautiful. I've always wanted to do mosaic crochet. I may not be able to purchase the kit but I'll try it
I LOVE this and I think this would be such a beautiful gift for a newborn!
Thank you for showing how to carry the yarn from row to row. I can use the technique in the blanket I'm currently making.
This blanket is gorgeous! Beautiful work!
Thank you! 😊
What a beautiful pattern!!! 😍
You are an amazing crocheter
Thank you!
That is gorgeous 😍 something I will be getting into!!
Ah, happy memories from childhood of holding the hank or skein of yarn on outstretched hands while my Mum wound it into a ball!
Don't need any tools, just an assistant, lol!
Adorable

This is gorgeous. I really want to make one. I'm left handed would that make a difference in using the chart?
The chart is the same both ways 😊
Good question, I'm left-handed too and would really love to make this beautiful blanket.

Yes, I would consider Heatherly to be a bit inbetween 3&4. If you are considering Brava worsted, that would be a perfect substitute!
Çok güzel olmuş ellerinize sağlık 👏👏🌹

It looks gorgeous! How many chains to start with if I want a blanket for a single person bed! Thanks in advance ❤
Very very nice!!!!!!!!! What kind of program or app do you use on your tablet?
Beautiful. I'm excited to make mine. I do have a question, what yarn winder do you use?
I have a wooden knitters pride winder. I have it linked in my Amazon shop. If you're looking for a more affordable option you can get a set with the swift, winder and yarn bowl from WeCrochet at my affiliate link here shrsl.com/3wgsg
you can buy the pieces separately as well
@@mjsoffthehook Thank you very much ❤️
This is a beautiful blanket however I think I’d get lost and mess up. But beautiful
My daughter made the sample and she's a beginner! The stitch repeat is only 6 stitches so it's not as hard as you think. 💗

I bought the pattern however I am stuck. I am a visual learner as well.
I watched you make the swatch but I didn’t see where you switched the size of your hook and why this pattern requires 2 hook sizes
The boarder needs a smaller hook.
Livrez vous en France svp ?
I'm confused by the return row chart...
I have no idea what I am doing wrong but I am missing a stitch on row 2. I have counted and counted and counted and have 193 and when I get the end of row 2 I don’t have 3 sc. I only have 2. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
Can you use this chart to make the blanket with the traditional mosaic technique instead of the inset mosaic technique?
Yes.
Hi MJ! Can this be adaptable for left handed crocheters?
Yes, the pattern is the exact same both ways.
Love this, but who’d want to hand wash a blanket especially for as mush as you’d need to wash it for a baby?
I've given lots of alternatives on the blog and in the pattern. Personally, I'd wash on delicate and air dry.
Where can I buy this yarn in the UK. Thank you for your help
WeCrochet does ship to the UK which is where I get my yarn from.
What yarn do you recommend for those who can’t hand wash
I would wash on delicate by itself (the yarn might bleed) and lay flat to dry.
thank you for vídeo but i did not find the free pattern its 8 dollars not free, could you please tell me where its free? thank you very much i m waiting for it
This is a paid pattern only
@@mjsoffthehook ok thank you
Hi Mj i love the hooks u use i would like to buy them where can I purchase them from do reply regards Sandy Kasi South Africa Kzn Durban ❤🙌🙏
I get my hooks from Furls Crochet shrsl.com/3qkvh
I'm left handed can I just reverse the pattern?
Yes, the chart works both ways. You start and end the exact same way.

It’s very pretty but the pattern you have to buy to make the blanket. 😢
Yes, Mosaic patterns take a lot of work to design! You are getting a video, charts and row by row instructions; definitely worth the money.
