Omg, just finished this blanket. Came out so beautiful and easy to crochet. Love the border too! Only took me 3 weeks. However, had to order 5 more skeins to make it longer

Love your instructions. I am glad you told me about washing the blanket after making. I didn’t like the yarn I received so I got wool ease thick and quick.

Hi MJ !! I’m so happy to discover your patterns and designs and bought the pattern (although you have no idea how much I appreciate you offering free on your blog), I have a quick question I noticed after 1st stitch in eye, the 2nd loop is pulled through both the front and back leg of that stitch before doing the 4 th pull up… I noticed in other Star stitch tutorials they only go through the front leg… does this stitch make it more stable to go through both legs or is it just a preference ? You are genuinely a talented designer and are so generous with your art, and I’m thrilled to bits to start the pattern… I actually have chained all the stitches and then my OCD brain picked this up and felt should ask !! 😊
This is my preference and yes, it’s more stable 😊

I get them done at the salon. I couldn't tell you the brand. I always pick out a very light pink or mauve :)
I have just bought the pattern to make for my friends son. I am using 2 colours to make it striped . I have 2 questions, first which row would you suggest changing colour on ?
