I'm only 10 minutes into this video, and as former NFL coach, JTO put so much detail into this video that NFL teams should hire this man yesterday!

I love plays so much. Sometimes I forget to appreciate this art. I’ve been drawing up plays since I was 11 now I’m 15.

Guy's like JT who travelled around the league must be an invaluable resource in helping younger QB's to settle into the pro game. Why more NFL and CFL teams don't grab these guys even on a consultancy basis is beyond me.

I've had this crazy play concept out of 10 personnel that works either in 2x2 or trips. In 2x2 the tailback uses exit motion and runs an angle route with the slot receiver on that side running an angle route further outside. Then on the other side of the formation the inside receiver runs a skinny to clear out while the outside receivers run traditional posts. In essence all eligibles are running a post route in some variation. Anyway, as always great content JT!

Always love the inclusion of the high school film. Only suggestion would maybe be to work the video in a little earlier to help viewers like me really visualize it when viewing the paper diagrams

As a casual fan I understand maybe 30%-45% of your jargon. The play diagrams help (best is when both the offence and defense are represented) . Are there some channels or other resources to help with the jargon?

@@TheQBSchool I have trouble with a lot of terms too, but paying close attention to the videos helps.
Yeah, I agree with the commenter that without play diagrams it would be really difficult understanding what it is you are talking about. How do you feel about using animated play diagrams in these videos? Do you have to pay royalties if you use that kind of software in videos? Maybe the software is expensive, you never thought of it, it will be extra work inputting the diagram into the software, the software is hard to learn/use, you don't think it's needed, or there are some other reason(s) you don't use animated play diagrams. If type "free 2d game engine" into a search engine you'll find free software that can pretty much create an animated play diagram. Maybe you could use that software to make a simple 2d football video game, if you can't draw or get art then use the simple shapes common in play diagrams. But if you use free software you have to remember that lots of free software have special clauses for when people make money using them.

Double post in the west coast offense looks a lot like "Y-Cross" in the air raid.

When I was playing madden in the 90's the game had a double post paired with a WR screen on the back side of the play. Could this be a double pass play?
