The vast majority of FSU fans are not complaining about what happened. We know it was nothing more than a glorified scrimmage. Our season ended after the ACC Championship. However, SEC fans are jerks! Some of the crap they wrote in X demonstrated it. Imagine someone saying that the result in the Orange Bowl proved the CFP Committee right.
Because it did? GA’s 2nd and 3rd string in the second half didn’t even let yall score. FSU wouldn’t have done anything close to what a down year bama team did against Michigan. I have hammered that money line bet every time Washington was the underdog this year and I’m not stopping now. I got Washington beating Michigan this Monday by a touchdown.
As a Texas fan- that game felt like a trainwreck, and it was crazy we still had a chance to win it there at the end- which is exactly why I’m excited for the future in Austin. We played far from the best game offensively, AND defensively and we’re still right there. Penix is damn good and hats off to Washington for making it a great game, and the final with Michigan should be a real classic.
Dude out here saying you can't retro fit the selection process. However, that's exactly what most folks used to keep FSU out. The argument of "we don't want to see another TCU" is a retrofit from last years final. The difference of TCU to this FSU team was FSU's defense was elite. They could have kept Penix bottled up or battled against Michigan's run. One of the worst thing's about the FSU snub is just the overall lack of logic used. If folks just said "yeah we are biased what of it" it would honestly just be better for them.
The math is so much simpler than FSU got left out for Alabama, because that wasn't the case. FSU got left out for Texas (I don't care that Alabama was the 4 seed). With or without Travis, you can't tell me Texas's resume was so much better than FSU that they deserved to be ahead of them.
FSU best win against 5th best SEC, that bama also beat. TX best win was again Bama who was the SECChamp. Need more? Other than that TX and FSU played in the 2 worse conferences this year.
@@JustN0pe3 FSU also held the #1 offense in the SEC to its lowest point total all year and beat that same team with a higher margin of victory than Alabama did
Probably because Jalen Milroe had a lot more passing yards against Georgia than Glenn. Also, could be because Jalen Milroe’s team beat Georgia while Glenn’s team got drug by 60 points.
Because Jalen Milroe is black. Nobody who claims he is a good quarterback says so because they believe he is a good passer. It’s obviously all on his running ability
Since the committee seems to have gave us the best last four team playoff yet, why not just have made UGA and Oregon play??? That would have been a great game.
Pate State lost to food this year, and now it's the Sarah McLaughlin Special. Don't worry, Josh, the first thing I learned about the DeBoer Huskies is that they break all the rules of everything I've known about college football. I figured that out by the end of September in 2022, and it's been one hell of a ride since then.
Michigan absolutely capitalized on every mistake but the fumble. The bad snaps did not help Alabama at all either. Great analysis as always. As far as bowls go give me Atlanta or New Orleans. Keep the weather out of it.
Last May in Aruba I bet Washington at 18-1 to win the natty. Going back to Aruba this May to Hopefully collect a nice ticket to probably just gamble away in that certain casino.
You list all the warts on Bama's team yet THAT is the team that by your own words you advocated for leaving out an undefeated power 5 conference champion in order to put in. Let that sink in

I know right. I said it when I saw it and I'll say it again. Michigan's reaction was that of confusion like the rest of us who thought there was no way an undefeated p5 conference champion would be left out, not that of a team that was scared

Washington handled the end of the Arizona game the exact same way they did the Sugar Bowl, which resulted in a closer finish than deserved and an Arizona onside kick that should've never happened...and that's the play Rome Odunze broke his rib and punctured a lung on. And of course, in the Sugar Bowl it cost us Dillon Johnson. Two players hurt because of bad management decisions. We also nearly lost the Apple Cup because of the same refusal to just run the ball and clock. It's a good thing DeBoer used the Konami Code after the ASU loss in 2022.
Don’t forget Utah. You had problems with them. Doesn’t matter though because you’re good at what you do. My favorite show and I’m near Portland Oregon. I’m say that because you actually know about all of college football. We out here are used to sports guys guessing what’s going on out here. You actually know usually.
Michigan is winning period. we have a better offensive and defensive line play. Yes Washington is a very good offensive line. It won’t matter we’re gonna get to Penix. We also have a good pass defense unlike Texas. Washington will not deny us, we are winning.
Pate! You’re good! You’re not gonna hit 100% and predictions but appreciate your accountability segment anyways, we all listen because us fans enjoy your insight, right or wrong. Going to be an epic battle of the trenches for the Title! And battle of the UW WRs v UM DBs 🔥🔥🔥w two high caliber QBs. Every position group battle will be incredible! Both ST units need to be on point!
Hi Josh thoughts on why Clock starts on snap instead of on ready to play on the injury . Seems like UW was unfairly punished for having an injured player, could encourage teams to intentionally injure running backs if they are down. I know you don’t want to think that would happen, but I would guess someone with more cunning and desire to win than decency took note.
@@drew7155UW would have the option of a 10 second run off, which they would have accepted. But either way, click should start on ready to play, not the snap. Otherwise if you have no timeouts, what’s to stop a player from intentionally trying to injure a player to gain an extra timeout?
So I’ve only been once (OU vs UCLA) a few years ago, but the Rose Bowl is nothing special at least for me as a spectator. Maybe if I was a media person the experience would have been different. Plus the fact that it’s in the middle of a golf course is mind boggling to me lol.

Alabama did nothing more than spoil an opportunity for Georgia. Congratulations Alabama. You're a place holder;you're Tennessee.
Alabama played back to back no. 1 teams, they beat one of them and took the other to OT. Tennessee could never lmao
You list the 24/7 portal ranking, which in some ways is reasonable, but it would be great to get a composite ranking that subtracts the portal departures from the portal commits.
Pick against Michigan again Josh I'm loving it. Love the show! Go Blue
Always watching from Prague Czech Republic 🇨🇿 pronounced Prague is in Frog. Happy new year!
Happy New Year to you there in Prague!
(TN fan btw, don’t like any of the teams i mentioned in this paragraph previously but can acknowledge FSU wouldn’t have made a difference)
When you're told for a solid month the games you played on the field don't matter why would you play an exhibition game? Great job Georgia for beating Tallahassee high school by 60. Also shout out to Kirby Smart who knows that that wasn't FSU at full strength.
@@christianbenton3319 lol not Kirby’s fault yall knew u would get blown out of the water so either opted out or transferred. Like I mentioned GA primarily had their second and some 3rd string in the second half and y’all still couldn’t score. Maybe have a better SOS and don’t let ur star QB get hurt and u could see yourself in the playoff only to get road stomped by Michigan instead of Ga
@@christianbenton3319 not to mention y’all are crying bc yall didn’t get in bc yall didn’t have ur star QB, who I will admit, would make a difference but not as big or as grandeur as FSU fans like to think. Barely pulled away from an awful Louisville team. And if your reasoning for not being competitive against GA is that they didn’t have their key players… well I’ll let you figure that one out
@HouseoftheJedi so where is his Heisman? According to you and ESPN apparently he won 10 games by himself. Way more impressive then anything Daniels did who FSU beat twice by the way
So…wait….Alabama actually did struggle with Auburn, USF, Arkansas and lost by 10 to Texas? Huh. And their QB was highly questionable? And what was the reason given for keeping an undefeated team out? Weird.
Well they avoided losing by 60 points to Georgia
@@pjones205 Struggled = requiring an act of God to win? Did they struggle with USF? Arkansas? Did they lose by double digits at home? We obviously know these answers which makes this point a bit silly.
Florida State still got screwed.
They did FSU a favor Georgia was a preview of what would have happened if they got in!
That's a bad faith argument...they wouldn't have had 31 opt outs and been forced to play walk ons and freshman if they were in the cfp. The orange bowl was meaningless. @Moose3peat
@@ryuradeon It’s funny you say that. FSU fans have been telling us all that it doesn’t matter who they were missing on their roster for the past month. 63-3 😂. Thanks for the free money from your candy ass program

lol you are a good sport; love the show, keep it up!
I have hammered that money line bet every time Washington was the underdog this year and I’m not stopping now. I got Washington beating Michigan this Monday by a touchdown.
When Washington wins it will become obvious the pac12 the strongest conference this year with the 2 best teams.
Nah, I still think Georgia was the best team this season.
Correction => K.J. Richardson is the quarterback who transferred to the University of Central Florida.
I love how you tell it like it is. Love your show.❤❤❤
Dude out here saying you can't retro fit the selection process.
It's ironic that if Georgia had beaten Alabama then Georgia would still have played Florida State .
Glad both asterisk teams lost. Should have had FSU if by record or UGA if by strength. ESPN wanted ratings. So glad Bama and Texas both took home L’s.
The math is so much simpler than FSU got left out for Alabama, because that wasn't the case. FSU got left out for Texas (I don't care that Alabama was the 4 seed). With or without Travis, you can't tell me Texas's resume was so much better than FSU that they deserved to be ahead of them.
Well they beat ESPN’s golden child so they must be Gods gift, nevermind they got completely dominated by an undersized Washington team
Fsu would have beat either tbh
63-3.
FSU best win against 5th best SEC, that bama also beat. TX best win was again Bama who was the SECChamp. Need more? Other than that TX and FSU played in the 2 worse conferences this year.
@@JustN0pe3 FSU also held the #1 offense in the SEC to its lowest point total all year and beat that same team with a higher margin of victory than Alabama did
JP, you dont speak for everyone when it comes to FSU and Georgia.
The clown nose segment was awesome!!
Watching from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
How are we not talking about Brock Glenn having more passing yards against UGA with a patchwork squad than Jalen Milroe had with his full Bama squad.
Next season man let’s move on
Probably because Georgia starters didn't play the entire game, didn't throw for a touchdown, threw 2 picks, lost by 60 points.... take your pick
@@ataturk_33 ooof can’t take that back
Since the committee seems to have gave us the best last four team playoff yet, why not just have made UGA and Oregon play??? That would have been a great game.

I remember you betting against Washington, just as you bet against MY NOLES 😂🤣😅😆😁😄
Don’t mind conferences but my radical take is a 10 team limit and regional presence for all conferences with a bigger commissioning body over them.
Michigan absolutely capitalized on every mistake but the fumble. The bad snaps did not help Alabama at all either. Great analysis as always. As far as bowls go give me Atlanta or New Orleans. Keep the weather out of it.
YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT A THIRD, FSU SEMINOLES🎉🎉🎉🎉

You list all the warts on Bama's team yet THAT is the team that by your own words you advocated for leaving out an undefeated power 5 conference champion in order to put in. Let that sink in
Whoa you said the city I live in. Good job Noel from Fort Myers 😀

Remember everyone showing the video when it popped up they had to play Bama? Everyone saying Xichigan didn't want to play Bama. Yea I guess they weren't scared! I love the way you opine on College Football young Fella, you're up there with the best of them! OH
I know right. I said it when I saw it and I'll say it again. Michigan's reaction was that of confusion like the rest of us who thought there was no way an undefeated p5 conference champion would be left out, not that of a team that was scared
Well, I’m fairly certain that they would’ve much rather played FSU. Doesn’t mean they were scared but that definitely would’ve been an easier game
@@j.akelly9775 and it would've been an easier game had they not muffed a punt leading to bamas first touchdown, not botched an extra point, and then missed a field goal.
@@techlorknight338 and Bama could’ve put the game away if they didn’t keep having bad snaps or if Milroe didn’t fumble the ball. That’s all part of the game. Jack Swarbrick should be College Football Commissioner.

Also The clown nose segment with Washington… You gotta learn Josh I believed in them this last time😂😂
Pate! You’re good! You’re not gonna hit 100% and predictions but appreciate your accountability segment anyways, we all listen because us fans enjoy your insight, right or wrong. I’m a Westcoast guy who enjoys your takes.
The two undefeated teams handled business, UW and UM deserve it, FSU getting snubbed sucks but it is what it is.
I think if Texas running back would have been injured the clock wouldn't have stopped.
UGA absolutely deserved to be in the playoffs but the transitive property kept them out.
Nah, you lost in the sec championship.
Play better next time and you might threepeat.
No, losing the last game of the season to Bama while there were 3 undefeated conference champions and texas who beat Bama is why.
And before you say anything yes, I understand you think Texas beating Bama, Bama beating Georgia therfore Texas beats Georgia is the Transitive property at play. That's wrong. Games matter. Period. Texas beat Bama the sec champions. That's a fact. That game mattered. All 3 teams were 1 loss. Only two were conference Champs, and one beat the other. Period. Point blank.
@@techlorknight338 I'll keep this simple. Is UGA one of the four best teams in the country?
Based on what? Because they barely beat Georgia Tech or because they destroyed FSU's scout team?
@@techlorknight338Texas did not beat the SEC champs Alabama. They beat the 1-0 Alabama in the 2nd game of the season when they were still a garbage can.
My goodness. How many times did I hear about a high, low, or just plain mistimed snap from Seth Mclaughlin? That was a travesty. But kudos to Michigan. They were the more mature team in the end and handled the pressure better at its peak. I went back and watched the SEC Championship before the playoffs because of your and Cubelic's comments on the O-line play and my first thought after was if Milroe doesn't play better than that Bama will lose to Michigan. Congrats to Washington. After they beat Oregon twice, and the second time better than the first, I thought they were the most complete team in football.
