- Normal everyday driving of the 2023 Integra. Also did a 0-60 and we talk about what I like vs what I don’t like about it. Still waiting on our 6 speed which I am genuinely excited for.
What’s up YT! I hope you all enjoy todays weather and have a ball doing it! Todays video is my full driving review of the 2023 Integra A-Spec. In this video we don’t drive any backroads but that video will be coming as well! Hope you enjoy the video and please make sure you like & subscribe! Thanks for watching!
This car is gorgeous inside and out but for the price of the fully loaded A-Spec with technology package i can get the Accord Touring with equal level of luxury(except the badge of course) and same features and tech but with a lot more power and an actual automatic transmission(same 10 spd as my RDX A-Spec Advance), not hating on the Integra i love the car and Acura/Honda just a little hard to justify the price when for roughly the same money the Accord Touring is available.
I'm on the opposite spectrum, I'd rather get the integra over the accord.
@@wongchai807 nothing wrong with that, I purchased a 2022 RDX Aspec Advance a couple of months ago and the level of luxury and sportiness is miles ahead of the CRV and the Trailsport I test drove(and price reflects that too😂), but because this integra is based on the civic and looks pretty much like it inside I don’t think is going to feel miles ahead of the Accord which is very luxurious in the Touring trim, I spoke with the salesman that sold me the RDX to test drive the Integra Aspec with technology package and if it feels nicer than the Accord then I may get it, we’ll see.
@@yordan826 I’d love to go with the Integra, because the maneuverability, Accord is more bulky.
Touring Accord is more expensive and has more of a mark up on it right now. But your talking mid size to a compact doesn't make sense also the Integra tech has more features right now.
Acura looks better than Honda in my opinion or else I would’ve gotten an accord
Sharp looking vehicle, and that color combo is awesome. I might be trading my Accord Sport for one of these.
Get the 6 speed, and I promise you won’t regret it!
Mine is supposed to come in this week! Can’t wait to go see it
Nice! What color did you get? Would love to see a video!
Which one did you get cvt/man?
@@jayczyzyk9707 Jay the buz killer. Thanks for you insight. There's a reason people don't invite you to parties.
@@jayczyzyk9707 I didn't realize ppl buy car to drive on the road to do illegal races and be proud... maybe it's just the adult in me and knowing I have kill ones depending on my livelihood and being a responsible adult.
Can't wait for a type s. For those complaining, they seem to forget the integra first came in as a four door hatchback. Performance models came later including a coupe. As far as coupes, people aren't buying them so don't expect one. A type s with more power would be the one to wait for if you want performance. This car is impressive for what it is.
it also came as a two door coupe.
I love the look of this car inside and out. The 1.5t and CVT aren’t for me though and would personally wait for a Type S variant.
@@user-fx6tp3gs8s what did you expect? It’s a 1.5t with 200hp
Don’t waste your time with this guy. He’s another unpaid troll. Let him be miserable on his own. You’ll see his comments on the other Integra videos too saying nothing worth reading.
@@HKN_RealReviews I find it ridiculous how the online car community is nowadays. They complain about EVERY new car, it’s ridiculous. And these delusional folks want Acura to make a modern DC2 coupe and price is at $25k and want it to have 250hp. They just continuously prove that they know absolutely nothing about the automotive world they claim they love so much. It’s a huge slap in the face to actual enthusiasts who understand market trends, production costs etc.
@@drivescene6747 That’s what I call hitting the nail on the head!
@@user-fx6tp3gs8s it’s not a $40k car and all of its competitors costs $10k more while having the same power output. The Audi A3 (201hp) base price is $36k, comparatively equipped with the top spec Integra the Audi will cost around $45k, A220 (188hp) even more expensive than the Audi, the CLA250 (208hp) also more expensive than the Audi. Those are the direct competitors to this car and it’s an absolute steal compared to those cars.
I asked my daughter if she remembered the Integra. She replied yes it's what all the cool kids drove in high school. I think this car is marketed to those same kids. Except now they're in their 35-45 years old. I personally would only buy the a-spec with tech. No reason to have this model when the Civic touring is just as good you're just paying for the extra horsepower here. But if that it what you want then you should have it. Don't allow others to make you feel bad. They can climb back into their Hyundai accents and go home.
Not only did you hit the nail on the head, but you are funny as hell too. Not their Hyundai Accents....I'm crying!
Sorry to disappoint her but the cool kids have zero interest in this car, I agree tho 35-50 with kids is the target demographic for this, not the sporty young adult segment
It’s funny that you mention Hyundai because they made a far far cooler car than this(Elantra N, mabe even the veloster N)
@@non-fictionaltoughguy1208 not the same segment. That's tantamount to saying a bmw or Mercedes is better than.. two words come to mind the first one is perception. The act or faculty of perceiving or apprehending by means of the senses or of the mind. The second is opinion. A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Everyone has an opinion based on their perception. You make it sound like everyone else is wrong, that's just my opinion based on my perception. That doesn't mean I am correct.
@@In-obscurity-n7j most definitely not saying that, what I am saying is, I’m confused as to why Acura would market this as a fun car for young adults at an affordable price point, in theory this should be something targeted exactly at someone like me and other young enthusiasts who’ve just come into some money but it’s not at all, mainly the people defending this car are much older with families, which is absolutely okay!! They should have just been transparent about that
This Car is going to pass the test of time in reliability fun to drive and great features not to mention the hatchback!!!! And for those people that really want a supercar GO BUY ONE ! 🙄 or buy this and tune it everyday drivers who are purchasing at this price point aren't looking to go on a test track and race daily, they make race cars for a reason this is a sports car for your everyday driver
Say it one more time for the people in the back!!
@@HKN_RealReviews never understood why "enthusiasts" hate on this car because of a stat sheet
@@King_riotv because they’re not real enthusiasts. Just keyboard warriors who’ve never driven it with an opinion based on other’s opinion’s instead of their own. Does the CVT do it for me? No. But do I see this being a great and fun vehicle for people who don’t care about the transmission? Absolutely! Any real enthusiast can find something they appreciate about a vehicle. Unless it’s a Dodge Journey, no one appreciates anything about those. 😂😂
@@HKN_RealReviews I'm looking to trade in my 2012 Accord because I've been getting some pretty good offers but never driven a CVT but have heard pretty much only negative things about it, for this to just be a daily driver with better mpg, is the CVT that big an issue?
@@789raiden For me, yeah it is that big of an issue. For 80% of buyers today, it’ll be just fine. But I have the 6 speed, and with respect to fuel mileage, I’m averaging around 30 mpg driving it like I stole it. Got 32.4 mpg on the way to work with about a 60/40 split, city/highway. So I know once it’s broken in and I’ll get better mpgs and even if I don’t, I’ll take it as is. The driving experience is worth the potential loss in fuel economy over the CVT. Just my opinion. *PLEASE GET THE MANUAL*
Not worth it guys went to the dealership and they want 3000 down and 580 a month and I have excellent credit , cars are getting out of hand
The dealer probably doesn’t want $3000 down that’s probably what it takes for you to get to your desired payment or close. Dealers never require down payment anyway, banks put those types of stipulations on deals not the dealer. Just so you know.
@@HKN_RealReviews we didn’t work numbers that’s what they told me
@@DavidC-dj3mk Oh wow…Ok. Either way, they should followed process and given you actual concrete numbers instead of just telling you something.
@@HKN_RealReviews yeah market is out of control man tbh , thanks for your reply
0-60 slower than civic! Ridiculous
How’s the sound system in the non-tech A-spec? Would be nice if it was half as good as the one with ELS
It’s not horrible but I do recommend spending the extra cash for the 16 speaker system.
Wonder how much the dampeners make in smoothing out the ride.
Me too. Can’t wait to get our A-Spec w/ Technology package.

Thank You for this review. I appreciate a real world honest view point.
That’s exactly what I’m trying to provide on this channel. Thank you for noticing!
Pretty disappointing. Acura really has nothing good going for them right now.
🤣🤤🤡
Are you able to do a night time review of the interior/exterior lights?
My store closes before the sun goes down in the summertime. But when daylight savings rolls around, I’ll be there in the dark 🤣. I’ll tell you what, I have a detail shop right down the street that I can pull it into and give you an idea of the lights in there. Won’t be completely dark but at least give you some idea. The interior lighting system is only available with the Tech package which we don’t have yet but is on the way. I’ll do a video on both for you. How’s that?
@@HKN_RealReviews sounds awesome. Thanks
@@assamahmed24bryant You got it! Thank you for watching, & make sure you subscribe if you haven’t. You are appreciated!
Your point on the DCT is on point. Honda makes that transmission for this exact motor in other markets. They EASILY could have done this here and greatly elevated the driving experience.
Yeah, no LSD with the CVT. And its 0-60 times being the slowest out of all its competitors is why I took the Integra off my list of contenders to replace my current car. Mazda 3 Turbo is better in every way. Granted, no LSD at all on it. But it's All-Wheel Drive. So, doesn't really need an LSD.
Mazda 3 Turbo rides a lots harsher though, also worse MPG. Integra is better imo, especially with the adaptive dampers and 6 speed manual, Mazda is faster no doubt.
@@ssaini5028
Well, in fairness, you expect it to ride harsher. It's a Near-Luxury car, without the luxury badging. But with real performance built in too. And, of course it's going to have worse MPG. Just take a look at the Horsepower and torque numbers of both vehicles. Thing is, if you're going to call it an "Integra," that name has _real_ meaning behind it for a lot of folks. Me included. It honestly feels as though Acura brought back the name simply as a sales booster.
A Near-luxury car with just a number designation, built for slightly older individuals. . . should not be able to outperform the new Integra. But it does. Not even close. We get 93 Octane where I live. Best way to get all that sweet performance out of the 3.
i wish they sold it in dark green thats the iconic color.
I like the car,too bad it's missing adaptive dampers ,I understand not giving as lsd but they should gave as adaptive dampers for 32800 $ for aspec without tech package,so it's missing 9 inch screen, Adaptive dampers, lsd, maybe remote start, hud ..in my opinion a spec Integra with out tech package should come with 9 inch screen and adaptive dampers
I agree! The 9 inch screen should’ve been standard no matter what. They also didn’t put XM radio on this one which is just disrespectful. You have to get the Tech package for it.
@@HKN_RealReviews one more thing is missing on every trim rear air vents
@@matrix8043 another huge omission that could’ve been easily rectified before production. So far I like this car, but there were a few things they could’ve done like add XM radio as standard equipment and the rear seat vents like you mentioned as well as wireless CarPlay & Android Auto.
It's just a civic
What city are you in? I can tell it's not large city. It reminds me of my city of Columbus Georgia. Which is not a bad thing at all.
Annapolis! Very small city, with horrible traffic and people who don’t know how to use roundabouts 🤣🤣
@@HKN_RealReviews Yea! We recently got roundabouts in Columbus too. Almost like 4 to 5 years ago. Which are still fairly new to us in Columbus. So far so good there haven't been any major problems with the roundabouts.
I see Acura didn't change the turn signal sound much. Still sounds a little dated...I thought they would have upgraded it by now.
Should I upgrade my car to this beautiful integra ? I’m rocking a civic sport 2020 model and my lease is almost up , no problems at all , almost finishing paying it off and I saw this integra came out I became interested to this vehicle.
If you like what you see, I say go for it! If you can swing the extra money, go for the A-Spec with Technology package. Definitely worth it as it gives you remote start (on automatic), adaptive dampers, interior ambient lighting, memory seats, front & rear parking sensors, & the 9 inch screen with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, & wireless charging. If you can drive a stick, I highly recommend the 6 speed manual. It comes with a limited slip differential as well and is the only way to get the LSD.
Looks like you & I are in the same situation
Just go test drive one, and lease one if you planning on leasing another one. 1.5T make a big difference, plus all that noices it makes, oh and the CLS speakers Mercy !
How is the interior road noise at highway speeds and ride comfort? I purchased a 22 civic and i found the road noise is so loud at 65 mph and it rides really hard
With my personal car, I get the adaptive dampers so it actually rides well. The road noise is notably quieter than any Civic I’ve ever driven. Not whisper quiet but definitely not Civic loud at Highway speeds.
@@HKN_RealReviews thanks for the fast response! Would you say it rides smoother than a 22 civics? I wouldnt be opposed to trading up to an integra for the added comfort.
@@JordyHimself1 yeah definitely rides better. However, Honda literally stripped the Civic Si of its adaptive dampers which would’ve made them ride almost identical. In truth the Civic Si was robbed of a few features in order to boost Integra sales. At least that what the thought process was (I’m sure of it). We’ll see what actually happens in the end. So far though, the Integra is impossible to keep on lots and Civic’s are so marked up that the Integra could start to really look good to people.
@@HKN_RealReviews yeah, this car market is absolutely nuts. Might wait it out till things go back to normal and upgrade to an integra. I appreciate your time man!
What dealership?
Criswell.
6Speed all the way..they can keep that cvt!
Before I drove both, I knew it would be that way. After driving both, I’m buying the 6 speed! Don’t know exactly when I’ll get mine because I want one that’s incoming but it doesn’t have an arrival date yet. But I’m 99% sure Im going with a new Integra with the 6 speed.
@@HKN_RealReviews would make much more sense if they could have kept the 8 speed dct tranny from the ilx
They should have add a limited slip dip in the cvt & also a head up display
You can get the Head Up Display with the CVT, just gotta get the A-Spec with Technology. But an LSD on the auto would’ve been nice!
@@HKN_RealReviews real talk they had did 9 gears in the cvt
@@wardellward you must be talking about 9 simulated gear shifts, right? This CVT doesn’t have any real gears. There have been cars with what’s called “Partial CVT’s” but this isn’t one.
@@HKN_RealReviews it shoulda been automatic
