I bought my Hydroconquest in 2015. It’s been my everyday watch for 5 plus years. No complaints and plenty of compliments. To me it beats Tag and others. For around 1k you get a world class watch. Great video!
I own this model a few months now and must say it looks incredible. So elegant, high quality of crafting. For its price its remarkable craftsmanship. However, the downside is its automatic movement and unless you are wearing it on a daily basis, it stops after 48h. At least for me. Also, the basel and glass are so sensitive to fat, sweat and dirt, the glass is always greasy. Have to clean it a few times a day. My other watches (Breiling and TagHeuer) are not so sensitive, not even close.
Oris 65 is the best in my opinion but the hamilton khaki navy is still better than the longines conquest...just my opinion. But I would take the orient star diver over the longines too
Dude ,i don't own a longine but I'm sure the quality is much better than the orient , I got one for 3 weeks and sold it back, flimsy cheap bracelet , no craftsmanship and the movement is terribly not accurate
@@downsouth1678 I don't own a Orient dive watch but own a Oris 65 which is great. I also have a sea dweller, seamaster 300, 2 BB and peligos. I was referring to my Oris 65
@@downsouth1678 I do own an orient sun and moon which is a dress watch...not a detailed movement but it was around $250....I don't have any orient dive watches.... I do have a cheap diver from a microbrand from asia that's quartz....really old but works fine...cheap though

thank you
Totally agree
Thanks for the review, and for including some of the company history.
Thank you. Have a look at my latest video about Christopher Ward and their C65 Vintage Diver

Great review
I'm glad I've found it. 🍻
Great review, this watch is on my wish list.
Hey mate, good review. Was it a black or blue one? Cheers.
Hope to see more new content.
The near perfect watch❤
great watch
I'm planning to get this model nice one.
Great choice .
How big is your wrist? I'm looking in buying one from a friend in 39, my wrist is slightly bigger than 7"
My wrist is 18cm. Just under 7.1 inches.
I believe your wrist is not wide then, the Kamasu and Hydro look huge on you. Before I saw this I thought for sure your wrist was 6”.
The problem with Longines divers is the super long lugs
Is the bezel ceramic?
I’m not sure they do a ceramic bezel for the 39mm. Mine is definitely aluminium.
They do make a ceramic bezel version.
Thanks for the video. Just a side remark - Longines is definitely not an entry-level luxury brand.
thank you for watching. do you mean it’s a mid tier brand or not a luxury brand at all ?
How is the weight of this watch ?
Depends how big your wrist is. For my 7 inch wrist I believe 150g
@@watchfixation3266 Thanks.
@@watchfixation3266 hi i would like to ask the watch your wearing is orient mako 3 red right? i felt the watch is very heavy. are yours the same ?
The Orient is not too heavy, as the bracelet is quite flimsy . Not sure in grams through .
Do they Do this in a leather strap
Hello. I believe they do only metal bracelet or rubber strap.
The Longines is significantly above the orient. It is much closer to tudor.
Change the bracelet to strap

Oris 65 is only 100m WR. That immediately disqualifies it for me. Longines is 300m.
The Longines HC is a heavy hitter in the mid range market as built like a tank and has a very accurate movement.
Can't hear shit.
Better get that checked out ..
