I got recommended this out of no where and have never read a Sonic comic, but I watched the whole thing because you explained each part in an enjoyable way. You clearly are passionate and that is always fun to watch, Keep it up 👍

if we kept her origin she would likely be surges descendant, though either way its very fitting, not only are they the only known tenracs, but Gold is famously a materiel known for its conductivity and use in electronics, fitting for Surge, an electrokinetic cyborg, also the fact Surge and kit are very obviously based on androids 17 and 18, whos plot involves time travel
About Mina and Tails, Penders said the only reason he used her was because it was Bollers character or something along those lines, not much else. I’ve heard it was supposed to Amy at first but I don’t remember where I heard that. Maybe that’s why Mina sports her hairstyle.
I know you didnt mention it since it isnt a piece of media but the lego torando set also might have a reference to cosmo's having a plant in tails workshop
I would pay good money to see Fleetway Super Sonic, Hyper Sonic form and Mammoth Mogul cannonized in the modern day. All of them in one Arc would be Godly.
Late archies sonic art and current idw art are some of the best sonic art Ive seen for sonic comics. The last time i stop reading the archie sonic run was during the time Ron Lim was doing the penciling. I always hated how Ron draws the comic. J.Axer's pencil were a breath of fresh air with how good his art was at that time. Sadly at the time Ive had enough of how low quality the comic art has gotten and gave up on the archie run by issue 121.
You could sail the high seas and read some more of the Archie comics if you wanted to. You could pick up arcs randomly based on the artist and writer, or start with the Post-Genesis Wave continuity. Tracy Yardley is one of my faves personally.
Thank you! That's definitely on the list of videos I want to do, but I had also covered some of them separately in other compilations. I'd want to find a way to do that video without it feeling like I'm retreading info I've already covered.

I noticed a lot of characters were always claims to be homosexual but it's never confirmed on panel. Which it's obvious as Sega doesn't want to deal with romance and this information is render to fandom canon instead of canon. Besides, Sonic the Hedgehog is never about Romcom. It's an action adventure story about a superfast blue hedgehog beating up an egg shaped mad scientist to save the environment from machinations. Romances are just icing on the cake but not necessarily a filling since making so many LGBT couples DOESN'T make the comic great.
