The things you said about new ideas and building old ones was interesting. I loved Flynn's stories pre-reboot that built on what was already there. But when he came up with new ideas and characters in IDW, I hated it. To me, Flynn is good at building on what already exists, but (usually) not with new stuff.

I might be the only person on this planet who's bothered by Rouge being depicted with a pale muzzle She had a tan tone in SA2 being her first debut, but in future content her mouth is the same color as Sonic's gloves. Shadow has this same exact problem too. It's an unnecessary disservice to the character, and it makes them look ill or immensely sick. Could you imagine the hate that would spawn upon a franchise if they whitewashed an originally dark skinned character, yet it's okay to colorwash a character if the character is anthropomorphic. Can't wait to see Whisper The Wolf with a snow white mouth in the next IDW Comic 💀

I have to comment, even though I have serveral videos where you could remention/bring it up, but the SATAM bible got leaked a while back and Eggman''s backstory there involves him being in a Planet of the Apes style situation. He was part of a group that left Earth, got kicked off that newworld because of reasons with his Nephew, and then ended up back to Earth which thanks to Space travel and time shennigans was now so far in the future that animals had evolved into their mobians forms and rule the planet now.
