I just made this as an alternative to Xmas dinner. I added a pinch of thyme on the meat & some onion powder before I fried it, then ate it with tangy cauliflower cheese, new potatoes & honey/mustard baby carrots! All made from scratch! Oh & I added wholgrain mustard to the honey too! It was scrum diddly umptious! Thanks for the upload!
Hey Dave, definitely gonna try this tomorrow! Just a tip for you I stumbled upon regarding pork chops: The fat at the edge of the chops will tense up once the heat hits, which causes the chops to curl and cook unevenly. You can easily prevent this by cutting through the fat strip in a few places (2 or 3 should be enough). Love your recipes!

Is the pork tender? I need to pound and cook the pork chops much longer to make it tender. I buy organic or good pork and I am in Australia. Just wonder if US pork is the same as Aussi pork.
Where were you yesterday when I was looking for a good pork chop recipe. I love pork chops. I ended up making Italian parmesan chops. Basically they're just breaded chops with Italian breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese and a few more ingredients. They're good. Boneless is best for breaded chops as long as there is a good fat cap on the edge.
Pork can be very cheap, it's one of the cheapest and best tasting meats of the bunch. I have many in the freezer ready to go. Just put wax paper inbetween when storing frozen.
Cooking Wine ??? COOKING Wine ???? No Way …. Use a good wine that you would drink.... like a Sauvignon Blanc or a Riesling or a Pinot Grigio or a Pinot Gris…. Never use a Cooking Wine..... Cooking Wine ! Indeed!
