    Serves 1-2
    Ingredients -
    1 Tbsp (15ml) - Olive Oil
    2 (250g - 8.8oz) - Pork Loin Chops
    2 Tbsp (28g) - Unsalted Butter
    5 - Cloves of Garlic, Minced
    2 Tbsp (30ml) - Chicken or Vegetable Stock (Recipes Down Below)
    1 Tbsp (15ml) - Apple Cider Vinegar
    2 Tbsp (65g) - Honey (I used Wild Flower Manuka)
    Seasoning to Taste
    Potato Bake - • Potato Bake | Easy How...
    Vegetable Stock - • Vegetable Stock How To...
    Chicken Stock - • Chicken Stock Easy Recipe
    For the Salad -
    There are no measurements for this as you can make however much or as little as you'd like.
    The ingredients I used for the salad include -
    Rocket (Arugula)
    Cucumber
    Cherry Tomato
    Spanish Onion (Red Onion)
    Red Radish
    For The Salad Dressing -
    1/2 - Lemon, Juiced
    1 Tbsp (15ml) - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    Seasoning to taste

    Just made this and it has already become a family favourite.
    The sauce is to die for! (slightly tweaked the recipe by replacing chicken stock with a bit of soy sauce and water)

    This was lovely, we tweaked it a little bit, we used lovely large portabello mushrooms, instead of the meat , and added a few puy lentils to the salad. Delicious

    I like the gloves. I have never seen a chef use them before. Are they latex?

      They're perfect for food handling as well as wearing them around in the kitchen (I use them in a commercial kitchen). They're made of nitrile which is a lot better for your skin too.

    I am SO making this! My husband loves pork chops (as do I). Could I do a variation using peach jam for the honey? Would probably serve either version with roasted, crispy garlic potatoes along with that delicious salad. Thanks for another winner, Chef.

      Yes you can use peach jam. It will be a lot sweeter depending on which jam you use but it will still be fantastic. You're very welcome, I hope you and your husband enjoy it.

    If you cut a slit on the fat with kitchen shears keeps the chop flat instead of curling.

    I know it's been awhile since this recipe was presented but anything else instead of apple cider vinegar. I mean something like ordinary vinegar that i have at home. Don't want to buy anew bottle for this. Thanks

    So only 2 minutes in the oven? Doesn't seem very long, Is that right? I would guess 20-25 min...

      We don’t want the pork to roast in the oven, it’s cooked in the pan. The 2 minutes under the grill or broiler will char the edges of the pork and allow the glaze to slightly caramelise. Depending on your ovens power, it may be quicker or it may take longer than 2 minutes. Just keep an eye on it. 😊

      I’ve been trained by many multicultural chefs. Although I was born and raised in England, now living in Australia, a lot of my cooking background is Italian and French.
