😆 literally just watched a polygel video before this one and she also started out recommending “not to rip off your nails.”
It does cause a lot of damage honestly. My nails just recovered from such. 👋🏽🙄

I am litterally in your same situation right now LMAOOO😭♥️🤣 I went to a salon and got applied some tips and the estetician used a product very similar to superglue and i decided to keep them for a while cause I wanted my natural nails to grow as the glued product was very sturdy...at the end I found it so difficult to take them off and tried to file them down and then soak them in warm soapy water but my nails are thin and they became soft and bendy😭 I didn't want to cut them off so I carefully filed them off but had to rip some off and they got a but damaged but they are long....so here I am searching how to do a polygel overlay on natural nails🤣🤣🤣🤣 great video

I was going to ask what you preferred, builder gel or the poly gel but you answered my question. Thank you so much! I've been on the fence about ordering this for months and months lol this just made my decision for me. I am curious how the product held up though? Any lifting? Thanks again!
I did not have any lifting for the time I had the overlay on. I also used the poly gel to apply my full coverage nail tips this time, I’m on week 3 with no lifting as well! If you do experience lifting, I heard Mia Secret and Young Nails have great nail bonds which should help with lifting. Thanks for watching!
Hi. What is the reason for putting on base coat after you've put on polygel then you add top coat on top of the base? Can we not just add top coat after putting on polygel?

I think the base coat keeps the polygel from lifting and keeps it adhered to the nail, especially as your nails grow out.
@Karameli Thanks for responding. But I noticed she put the base on top the polygel then top coat on top base at around 17mins 50secs onward.
@@longlivesoca I don't think that was intentional. Its usually base coat on your bare nails first, then polygel, then top coat.
Hi there; so, she wiped the polygel gel after she cured it. She wiped with alcohol pad to remove the stickiness. Then she put on base coat, cured for 30 seconds, then put on the top coat ( which adheres nicely to the sticky base coat ) and cured that.
I have not done that before but it makes sense I guess.
I don't have a gel base coat. Will the polygel stay?
It will most likely lift without having a gel base down first
