I know I'm a little late to this post, but it's great to see someone else drag racing their EV6 GT. After test driving a 2023 Yacht Blue EV6 GT in July, I traded my FULL bolt-on 2021 mustang GT for it as I just couldn't believe how much faster is felt than the mustang. So a couple of weeks later, I took it to my local dragstrip and right out of the gate, it ran faster than my mustang ever did, at least at that particular track. I went 11.33 at 119 first pass ever. That was in GT mode, about 85% SOC, regen set to 1, no other mods. My fastest time so far is 11.31 at 120 (at a different track). However, those passes were in July and August when temps were in the 80's (Northeast, OH). One thing I have experienced is, as the weather gets colder, the car seems to get slower. Here are some recent times to demonstrate (same track for all):
    Temp: 66 Deg F. 1/4 mile: 11.47
    Temp 58 deg F. 1/4 mile: 11.55
    Temp: 49 deg F (last week), 1/4 mile: 11.62
I have not been able to duplicate the 11.3x runs I was getting when it was hot out. Not sure what else to attribute it to. I tried regen set to 0, traction/stability control completely off, battery pre-conditioning on, max power mode on, none of that seemed to make any difference. Also, Max power mode doesn't seem to do anything. When I turn it on, the gage stays at about 80% and never moves. I just wonder if this only works when it is much colder, like below freezing. I am going to try playing with Drift mode, which I haven't done yet.
Anyone else here-have you experienced any of this? Any other suggestions? Kia claims 1/4 mile time of 11.6 so I'm still within that but 11.3 is more impressive. Still love the car though.

The max power mode needs quite a while for me to show precondition status, 20-30 min from a cold start

Keep in mind the Tesla owner had his car in track mode. This is not ideal for drag racing as it does pull voltage from the pack in order to keep the motors and battery cool for circuit racing.

Imagine if this was a 1/4 race. The GT would've pulled away further I believe. I could be wrong tho. The GT has more HP but it's heavier while the 3P has less HP but is lighter.

    I have a 2023 Kia EV6 GT. I have 2 friends that own a 2022 Tesla model 3 performance.
We have all raced at a 1/4 mile drag strip and my Kia just starts to rapidly pull away from the Teslas right around the 1/8 mile mark onwards.
I am generally about 2-3 car lengths ahead of the Teslas at the finish.
The Kia EV6 GT is really fast….but my friends Tesla model 3 get almost 100 more miles of range which really bugs me 🤪🤪

As a follow-up to my original post, I am thinking that as temps cool, the battery is slightly less efficient (more resistance). That could explain the 2-3 tenths of a second difference between runs at 85 Deg vs 50 deg. 2-3 tenths of a second is probably not noticeable on the street, but is an eternity in drag racing.

I completely forgot the EV6 has a battery optimization mode to warm up the batteries. Going to turn that on next time. It's designed to allow faster discharges so it should cut my time down a bit.

Whilst the model 3 and model Y are a little more sluggish than the EV6, I don’t necessarily think the Tesla is so behind in general. Long term, yes, Tesla will be overtaken by the larger innovation and rapid pace in China and even South Korea; but at least for right now Tesla has a good following that could hold out for several years.
