Ford needs to be thanking jeep for keeping the wrangler around through all these years, which encouraged them to bring back the bronco. Also should be thanking jeep for bringing in the 392 wrangler so the bronco raptor would show, as well as the trx so ford would actually put a v8 back in their raptor.
What's that shield underneath the back spare tire I don't like the painting bumpers because the black bumpers are easy to clean when it comes to bugs and stuff and it looks better. So when you paint the areas that wasn't paint before it adds more prone to chips and scratches and bug damage.
bought a 2016 in 2020 with 23,000 miles for $26,000 (35" tires, custom rims, soft top Sport)..steering rod broke, flipped on it's side, totaled in 2022 w/41,000 miles. Was give $29k by insurance. Value holder at it's best.
Hi, Mark here from NJ... love the new power/heated seats and bigger screen... great job, but has Jeep done anything to improve ride quality/comfort at Highway speed? Have they done anything to reduce road noise? For what their asking for some of these trims now it's time to stop sucking as a daily driver...
I understand what you are asking, but all those creature comforts would take away from what a jeep truly is. Would have to do something like ford did with the bronco and the bronco sport, have two different vehicles. By comparison they could make the renegades with removable soft tops/hard tops.
@@ramburgandyp1558 the new land cruiser kicks ass. The g wagon kicks ass.. their quiet and refined.. there is nothing wrong with spending $70k and having a vehicle not be a tin can. I have to disagree. Be well...
Some people believe it or not can comfortably spend $90k on a jeep and take it off road. Not many, but then again jeep only makes a few of those. Like he said you can buy a base $35k one all the way to $90k one. Good to have something for everyone. If people didn’t buy new cars you wouldn’t have $10k used cars.
The new 2024 grille design is great or even better than the 2023 grille design but I think Jeep should make a metal version of the 2024 wrangler grille. This would look good on the high altitude 4xe version of the wrangler. The older 2023 wrangler grille design worked well with the high altitude 4xe wrangler.
Don't get me wrong. I had a 2013 Jeep Wrangler and drove it until just recently. However, the Jeep Wrangler needs to take a bigger leap forward. It's only 2024 and the design has barely changed.
I would like to see JEEP explore and hopefully implement a fully automatic air compressor system into the Wrangler for 2025 and beyond; one that uses dash board buttons to inflate and deflate the four tires with digital psi readings on the screen. Who wouldn't want it? Airing down and airing up is an absolute need for off-road trail riding. If JEEP can add this, it will be a game changer leaving the competition in their rear view mirror - and far back at that. It's already utilized in other larger vehicles. Space is the big issue. However, if it can be done, this, to me, would be an unparalleled upgrade feature.
This is a new take on the classic seven slot grille I have not seen before. It's clearly drawing less attention to itself with the gray trim blending it together, almost as if the designers were saying "The seven slot grille is here, but we don't want it to be the main focal point of the front end styling any more." Here's why I think this is a big deal: To stay competitive, Jeep _must_ transition the brand to EVs, but EVs don't need a large grille opening. This is a big problem for a brand that's built its identity around the iconic look of a seven slot grille. I think the people at Jeep are well aware of this, and if this new front end styling is anything to go by, I think they might be signaling a new look for the brand.
The new dash / screen takes SO MUCH AWAY from the original design concept of incorporating all previous generation jeep styling cues when the JL was introduced. Now the two round vents have been replaced and it looks like an eye patch and a weird mouth opening for the rectangle air vents under the screen. I like the grill and don't really care about power seats not necessary. Once your seat is set why the need to have power to adjust? Recall the steering has so much adjustment including telescoping so I don't see a need for a minor adjustment from an electric motor on the seat. But hey, that's just me I'm sure no one else has the same thoughts
Improved but needs the following to get my money; hurricane 3.0 engine, Mojave Gladiator type padded seats, price competitive with Bronco, improved steering.
I'm surprised Jeep is even in business still. With gas prices and UTV's that can outperform them in any off-roading category, a Jeep is a tough buy for most proper-thinking people.
Everything is basically the same except the infotainment system which the old one is working perfectly fine, i don’t think it’s worth paying extra for this model year over the old one.
It still looks like the pre-refreshed Jeep Wrangler unchanged the headlights and tail lights. Still look the same the doors still look the same the interior still looks the same look from the last Jeep Wrangler. But the new 2024 jeep wrangler Rubicon has a 12.4 inch screen, unlike the previous generation Jeep Wrangler which had a 7 inch or a 8.4 inch screen.
Grill = wrong. Geez, dudes. I just looked one over in Moab and with respect to the interior wonder who they do these things for. You want fancy leather seating and carpet, a heavily digitized dash, and then plan on taking it out on the trail and covering it in dust & mud? The cost of entry is more than some of us paid for a 2000 sq ft house not all that long ago. A utility vehicle that costs over $80k when you factor in MSRP, dealer thieves’ ADM, taxes, etc. it does seem we’ve entered the the world of the absurd.
I currently have a 2015 grand Cherokee limited and I love it but I think my next vehicle is going toe a wrangler. love the body style of these things. I am of tired of people saying jeep needs to add more and bigger screens and keep adding tech I am sick of that y'all just want companies to keep rearranging what they already have. my 15 has the same shit this has just a bigger screen and for what? nobody knows because it looks cool and modern its stupid. the wrangler is one of the only cars left using a traditional speedomater and and some knobs can we keep it that way not everything has to be digital.
I occasionally think I want a jeep again and then i watch one of these videos which brag about the power seats and giant screen and ya talk me right out of it
Blows my mind they won't just add the 5.7 V8, it's either you get the crap V6 or EV or the extreme unaffordable 392. The 5.7 would be a great affordable V8 that would work.🤷🏾♂
The 5.7 only gets you 50 more horsepower than the V6, it’s not gonna make it faster, cause the extra weight of the engine will offset the extra power, and you’ll get worse fuel economy. The V6 still has like 300hp which is plenty for a wrangler. The fuel economy isn’t terrible for what it is either.
I have a 2020 Wrangler Rubicon and every update that's in these new Jeeps are terrible. It's gone from bad to worse. Each of those updates in the new one, I've had to rip out and rebuild in my 2020 to make it built for offroad. These changes are trying to take an outdoor, offroad vehicle to be more luxurious and slap a higher cost. Stellantis needs to keep Wranglers rugged. If you want to spend this much, better off with a G Wagon or Bronco.
The car market is starting to look like the 08 housing market crisis/ recession before it hit as in they better drop prices to the ground when the consumers bail them out with new vehicles for cheap for hard working Americans and persons abroad
Tbh I like the old screen/infotainment style better. This has stelantis written all over it… its losing it’s ruggedness. Hopefully this makes the old gen decrease in value so I can actually buy one.
Don’t bank on it. Wranglers hold their value very well always being in the top 5 for like a decade. A bigger screen isn’t going to drastically reduce prices. Maybe try when the next gen comes out in 4 years.
That new infotainment screen looks like an aftermarket afterthought. And 8k pound winch is too small, and the bumper with the crash cans up front for the winch doesn't work. I do really like the added airbags. I will keep my '21.
Fun and definitely not a boring truck, but....does bad in the crashtest and it's very small on the inside. It's basically a very compact vehicle with huge bumpers and a spare wheel sticking out.
Have they fixed the oxidation problems yet? Seeing these overpriced toys with bubbling paint on the hood, doors and hinges in a year or 2 will be heart breaking. 😢
Gee... You didn't seem to turn your nose up to this thing. But you hate the Lexus GX. Uhhh.. ok. Whatever. Seems like all you ever care about is panoramic roofs and Apple car play.

Does the 2024 Wrangler still have the second small battery?

22 miles of range ? is that what you said ?
That's what I thought that I heard also.
@5:58 does the 392 have 2H on the transfer case now? Pre 2023 the 392 only had 4H and 4L I beleive.
How much is this Jeep and when will it possibly come out
