My concern is about the seemingly smaller size air vents under the display. Will they be able to push out enough air? I usually use the middle ones to direct air towards the center of the cabin, while closing the side ones as I don't like to be directly hit by the cold/warm air. The vents were great and very effective as they were. There was no need to increase the display size horizontally, especially since this new wider screen horizontal format won’t really benefit maps, which if anything, would rather require vertical expansion. @@electrikoptik apples to oranges…you’re comparing old Land Cruisers with new Wranglers? How many 2023 Defenders are out in “the brush” these days?
The Wrangler isn’t a truck/SUV (which comprise like 95% of new vehicles in the USA)!
@@JoJoJoker you’re missing the point buddy boy. The point is that outside the US nobody cares or respects Wrangles. The Land Cruisers I saw were mostly 70-series and 100-series with a couple of newer 200-series. The Land Rovers were all old series II and III.
@@electrikoptik how people view Wranglers is irrelevant to my statement. The Porsche 911 is also in a class of its own (as a rear-engined sports car) regardless of whether or not you like it.
"We listen to our customers"
Yet no angry eyes from factory smh
Because they look stupid. The aftermarket has you covered if you want to make your car look like a cartoon character.
I would not trade my bulletproof 2015 Xterra Pro-4X for a Stellantis pile. Zero issues in 8 years!
What about the leg room for the back seats of the Jeep Wrangler RUBICON. Has it been extended?.
2:31 if by offroad you mean grocery shopping then yea itll go offroad
Considering the demise of shopping malls I don’t understand where people who buy these things are driving them?
Waiting for cx 90
The reason why I didn't buy a JL was the lack of the headroom. It's the same as JK, but because the transmission protrudes into the tub more, it's not possible to lower the seat by using new rails, the way I did in JK. I have a faint hope that the new electric seat goes lower, but frankly it's very faint. All those electric motors and gears have to go somewhere, so why would it be lower?
Appreciate all the useful info in one damn good overview.
How much weight did they add to the vehicle? Did they increase spring rates?
Has the steering been fixed? It is the only complaint I have with my 2020.
Thanks for the updates Jim (Farley)!
any idea of the gear ratio in the JL willys 2024 ?
and what about the front axle in JL willys 2024 , does it have dana 44 in the front ?
good driving putting this video together, well thought-out!
"We listened to the customers. We listened to journalists..." lol that is such BS. If it wasn't for the Bronco, AC and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto might still be an option. Jeep is starting to feel the pressure of offering more because now they have competition. You can't just say "it's a Jeep thing" now to make excuses for the Wrangler.
Will the xtreme recon package be available on 2 door models?
The new 2024 grille design is great or even better than the 2023 grille design but I think Jeep should make a metal version of the 2024 wrangler grille. This would look good on the high altitude 4xe version of the wrangler. The older 2023 wrangler grille design worked well with the high altitude 4xe wrangler.
I understand that the doors and widhshielf is removable, but I do not understand that there is no versions where it is not.
It adds to the cost, limits space and makes interior noisy.
The lack of "ordinary version" limits sales abroad as well.
Real competition from ford improves the the Jeep product. And vise versa. textbook progress
except when Jeep tries things new, they fail. the JL is an electronics nightmare.
The most savage Geese
Does the carpet match the airbag curtains?
5,000 lb tow is great for us who want to tow a travel trailer. To bad you can't get one with a stick (offered but none in USA Dealers)
1:32 what color is this?
Oh no.. all these improvements mean this must now retail in the 200k range
I’m wondering when the 2024 is available to order in Canada
Why the mid-cycle refresh and improvements you ask?? BRONCO. That's why. BRONCO!! :)
My nurse girlfriend will appreciate the microphone array when she needs to call her yoga coach for a private lesson at his house while I'm out of town.
That's cute she goes to Maleek
Thank you the savagegeese for your video: 2024 wrangler / major updates to safety and more
If i had access to that trail guide thingy in the screen i would be seriously considering trailbaiting bronco owners , if they have access to the same system 😂
Ford did a great job with the 2024 Wrangler refresh
They said that in 2021.
Still rolled over.
It helps to have strong competition. Let’s see after 2 years of reliability reviews 😅
Jeez, this Jeep guy seems SO excited for the “new” wrangler that he oversaw. Lol
Any refresh to the gladiator coming? Also it would be cool if Jeep worked with On X and provided a 3 year membership with any new Jeep purchase. I use that app more then Sirius lol
I don’t think they are. I’ve heard it’s discontinued here soon.
Why didn't Jeep use a wide-screen camera so the 12.3" screen doesn't turn into a 6" screen while using the camera?
Still no IFS even as an option?
Mark's churning these videos out. Quick someone give him Arby's!
The biggest change IMO is the investment( money ) in engineering and material / assembly quality overall. NOT perfect, but improved in general. My biggest deterrent is price. IMO, if you don't leave the pavement, camp, fish, hunt, etcetera then for the money a SUV makes way more sense. IMO 🤔😏 😎
Does it still blind all incoming drivers? Yes!
