To all dear foreigners and potential visitors to Croatia, here are few info. What you see in this video is hard to see in real life. People don't walk around in antic wardrobes and we almost never use hand tools in agriculture but modern machines. Yes, manufacturers are eye-candy to put in video, but hey, we are in 21st century also! For example, we have one of best, if not THE best internet connections. Following that, Croatia is one of leader in IT sector and our companies work for some of best companies in the world. Also you can experience great nightlife and parties beside Zagreb or Ultra in Split, like for example Ferragosto in Orahovica every summer. Also in Slavonia and Baranja which are mostly ignored by Croatian tourist board, beside breathtaking landscapes, you can enjoy one of best continental cousine in whole Europe and try excellent vines from Baranja, over Kutjevo, and till Erdut. We don't eat only fresh dough as shown in video. Anyway, come here and see, avoid coas because in top season is to crowded and full of tourist traps. Croatia is full of hidden treasures and most of them are not by seaside 😉
In relation to nightlife and festivals, you forgot to mention the biggest bass festival in the world, famous Outlook festival and one of the 4 best psytrance festivals, MODEM in Primišlje - Slunj

We also have people who don't feel the need to put something down to praise something else. Luckily, we also have tourist board that understands if you put a bunch of IT guys coding and people in regular clothes you won't get far promoting a country. Oh, and if you like the coast, feel free to visit whenever, wherever, I mean - who doesnt like sun & sea?! 😉
@@pepelepew628 precentage of people who went for a visit of other countries regarding their folklore is statistically unimportant. People who go visit other countries to have fun, eat and drink good, see historical sights etc. is majority of every general tourist population. Regarding that, only benefit (financial) that videos like this one provide is related to video producers and CTB board members, and not tourist points of interests and local community which should be priority.
@blokcentar you do realise this video is called intangible heritage? that is a formal classification made by UNESCO (nematerijalna kulturna baština) and video is obviously meant to represent that, not our entirety and everything we have to offer. i think they did a great job inserting a lot of things that are classified as our origin - even a cute little croatian sheepdog at the end.
sopile are disgusting instruments that should be burned and forgotten, the sound is terrible, why not play gusle?
