Hey great content, I’d love to see more featuring Elkjaer he by far is my favorite Horizon content creator and a world champion at this very game. I have been a fan of his for years now after seeing his “how to get the Shield Weaver armor early” video. His play style is so clean and he is very knowledgeable on this series. More Elk 👍🏼
Thank you so much! Despite not having the weapons fully upgraded, the advice made it easy to pass the first challenge (I even forgot to pause the game, let 30 seconds run off after watching this video of the second bellowback, and STILL made it on time for full stripes).
I've beat the game multiple times and yet it never even occurred to me that you might be able to use the Power Shredder technique instead of doing the regular catch and throw..! Well played!
Nicely done everyone! From all three, Honest Cake ones stand out the most. Well choosen, easy to get gear, skills, making the complex interaction between each of those elements, very easy to see and understand, so for you, an Well Done extra!
Thanks Paris, appreciate the feedback! :) I usually go with a run-and-gun approach at Hunting Grounds (sometimes to poor results...), so coming up with a slower, strategic approach was a fun puzzle for me to solve. I'm glad it was easy to follow!
Plasma Blast trial. That +2 Weapon Stamina+ weave suggested comes from the Legendary Nora Thunder Warrior outfit upgraded to level 3. Not good for a hunting ground trial that comes up around the first subordinate function mission (The Kulrut). Might I suggest that, that you suggest, that someone simply eat some food for that same buff. Land God's Gift, available in Plainsong. Simply collecting a few different plants; 5 Wild Beans, 2 Bitter Leaf, 3 Deepwater Kindleweed Oil is a simple enough task that should not take very long. Assuming one is not already carrying those items.
i don't really like these guides... they're well commentaried,.. but... since they're 3 different guys... well they're all over the place. Some are good and other just require time consuming high leveled crap and setup.... and their instructions end up being nothing more than channel flex. In this specific vid... the first trial is the hardest one... and the guide... well... just requires too much setup.... it's 100% flex. The second one is the easiest.. and yeah guide shown makes things even easier which I say is a very good how to. 3rd one was okay.. but you had so much time left... could have tried showing lower weapon strat while concentration on technique more than requiring fully leveled weapons. I mean... they sell the plasma weapon there, but you require it to be leveled fully up? You're basically telling people to ignore the trial, if this is their first time playing the game and I see that more as a flex and less as a "how to". On the same note... Ultra Hard on the first playthru is insane... what ends up happening is that people end up cheesing every open world battle and fight everything on the end of the AI's invisible tether.... then get raped in any Arena style fight, cause you can't cheese the AI in the same way. So basically... strat becomes cheese open world battles and level up equipment and Aloy to OP levels so you can survive the arena fights. Not really a fun way to play, if you ask me...just tedious. Buy hey.. look I beat the game on a virgin run on ultra hard.... flex...flex...
