🔷TIPS & COMMON MISTAKES:
✅If you haven't completed the Singularly main quest yet, depending on which main quest you're on, you may not be able to get out through the gate. Finish Singularity and give it another try. Or at least finish another main quest and give it a try.
✅If you’re still getting stuck trying to get out the gate, it’s likely because you didn’t get Aloy to phase down through the gate properly or you tried to stand up inside the gate. Do not stand up after Aloy phases down through the gate.
✅When trying to get Aloy to phase down through the horizontal log on the gate, remember she needs to climb up on her own. Also, you should nudge the left stick forward/tap forward on keyboard to try to get her to phase through as far forward/into the gate as possible. It can take a few tries to get her to phase through properly.
✅On PS5, make sure your graphics setting is "performance mode". Players have reported that slipping through the gaps is much more difficult on resolution and balanced modes.
✅If you haven't completed the Singularly main quest yet, you will likely run into an invisible wall inside the Memorial Grove just before you get to the throne room. You can super glide over this if you don't want to wait to finish Wings Of The Ten. See this example: ruclips.net/video/tzSMWboct8M/видео.html
✅When you arrive at the stash, make sure you've hit R1 to switch to your inventory. It's a common mistake to take items out of the stash instead of putting them in.
✅Another common mistake is marking a bunch of items and then hitting down on the d-pad to go to the next tab of the inventory. If you do this, all the marked items in the last tab will be unmarked and then they won't get deposited in the stash. Deposit one tab's worth of items at a time.
✅In your excitement for infinite riches, it's easy to forget to go back to Kalla, start the Arena challenge again, and abandon it. You MUST do this to exit the limbo state and get your duplicated items.
Now doesn't work on PS4

I normally dont like having to do things like this but the grind for upgrades becomes so laborious...after the 20th fireclaw and 10th apex heart im like bruh...enough now.
And I say this with a history of mmo farming.
Farming for currency i still encourage to do as intended but to each their own.
Yeah the upgrade grind is REAL. I personally like grinding machine hunting, but I think they went a little overboard lol. I’d rather hunt machines a bunch to get good coils like in HZD.
Sekiro killed farming for me. Especially since death was a reoccurring occupational hazard.
I wouldn't even mind the farming *that* much, but it's super tedious in this game. Like I didn't turn difficulty down to *normal* and leave it there because the game was too difficult, but because it just takes way too long to kill the larger machines. It's not significantly harder, just more expensive, and takes more in-fight crafting, which I loathe. The final nail in the coffin is the stupidly low drop chances on primary nerves and such. So you have to kill dozens of each large machine, which really lowers their dramatic value, and just devalues the experience overall.
So I hope this method still works. Gonna try it later.
The grind for upgrade components and coils in HFW is overboard. For Horizon 3 they seriously need to dial back the number of weapons, the number of upgrade components needed, and provide acquiring coils and weaves on the ground during gameplay instead of 'that one merchant in burning shores'. Goodgods, what were these people thinking: more is more!!?

I'd say dial back the weapons and outfits but replace that time spent with changes to models changing as you improve whatever piece it is. It seems that because of the quantity of weapons they have a stock model for each rarity until you get to legendary. I enjoy the visual flair of a weapon or armor changing as you upgrade it other than number go up or ammo unlocked. Farming machine parts is part of the loop that Horizon is known for so I got nothing there.

I've spent the same amount of time playing HFB so far as I did on HZD; however, I beat HZD twice and bought/upgraded every weapon and outfit I wanted to, meanwhile in HFB I am just now starting the DLC on my first playthrough and still need to purchase/upgrade far more items than I care to. By the time you've purchased/upgraded the best weapons and armors in the game most of us are already sick of it.
I loved HZD so much that I would play it a 3rd time easily, HFB I haven't even fully completed once and I'm already getting bored with it.

🤣🤣🤣, so i have pretty much OP build.
Tears of the land god 5 close range coils, iriv's downfall 3 elite and 2 close range (Critical boost valor surge will bring down apex slaughterspine under one minute), brawl breaker with 5 close range (Sustained burst ftw), Sun scourge (my favorite) fully dedicated for frost (pure OP, brittle enemies have massive damage output), death seeker for shock arrow and Defiance spear with 5 close range coils.
I am ripping through the enemies with this build in NG+ very hard. My basic strategy is frost the enemies, bring them down with sharpsot bows and spear. If they are having elemental resistance, drench them with purgewater and then frost them (works very well with enemies like Thunderjaw, ravager etc).
I seriously don't get Guerilla's stance on this... I feel like they actually dont even want to fix it, but instead only tell players "yea, good one, try again" or smt..
Cuz from a Developer-Standpoint, they could EASILY fix it with one single change: disabling the stash-interaction while an arena-challenge is running, instead of constantly adding more and more invisible walls over and over again.

You can also just get on a watering or sun wing and fly the route instead of running the route. Works faster and easier. Just call the flying mount to you immediately after leaving the arena.

I have to say that this glitch is a lifesaver. I usually don't mind working for the best gear, but this game makes it a tedious grind. So I take out the first 4-12 machines of a type, depending on size, and without easy looting, to prove to myself that I can do it reliably, and if I don't have enough to upgrade everything I want then, I use the duplication glitch. How bad is the grind? Well, it gets unbearable even if you play on story mode. So it's good to see it works legitimately on PC and you don't have to use an infinite jumps cheat like I did until now.
Also, I'm on NG+ now, and it seems to me that's actually the best way to experience the story and the quests, because you won't have to spend excessive extra time hunting machines for upgrades, especially if you collected everything you need to upgrade the NG+-specific gear in your previous playthrough. It's also good if you're annoyed by Aloy being downgraded so dramatically from the end of Zero Dawn. It know it's necessary for a fresh start, gameplay-wise, but I prefer intact continuity if I can get it.
I've been doing this glitch for the past few days on PC. You don't have to go out to the right of the arena towards the campfire, you can go left and then call your flying mount then fly around the bridge to the shelter.

I tried previous Arena glitch methods and could never get them to work. Did this one on 1st attempt. This was SO much easier! Now I’ve got enough Elite coils for my ultimate weapon builds, THANK YOU!

I've tested it on PC. You can definitely duplicate coils and weaves. Not sure why exactly you had an issue, but if you want to dupe them give it another try. It certainly works. Glad you found this helpful regardless!

Me wanting to try this in Ultra Hard but i have to do all those arena battles before Grim Prospects 😅
TIP: after the re-entry it doesn’t reset for me so I press RETRY for it to actually resets and duplicates. So for those who have some issues adding this in the end gives u 100% safe duplication.

This is glorious. Works on the PC as of today. You just saved me HUNDREDS of HOURS of grinding. This game is ridiculous the amount of repetitive grinding you need to do. I'm not done with the game yet, but my brain evolved when I saw this video. It works with doubling the green cluster resources too! LMAO, this is amazing.

What exactly is the problem? Which Difficulty are you one and what kind of Gear do you have ?
Quick things:
There aren´t many Stormbird Spots, on in mountains paried with a Dreadwing, the other on the Isle of Spires.
Their Cannon is like similiar to a Sac, meaning it has low Health but High Tear, on normal that is only 215 Health but 860 Tear needed.
Most save way are Tearblast Arrows but you might already shift things in your favour if you go for the cannon without Frost or Low Health Ranged/ Stealth Ranged+.
Cannon falls slower to the ground then the bird, which will be stunned. Try to keep it in sight when it falls and collect it immediatly, so you do not have to search for it afterwards.
I finished the main campaign and burning shores with 70% of the side quests done, on hard mode my first ever playthrough, reached level 60.
All the challenge disappeared and I quickly got bored, I restarted from scratch on Very Hard and enjoying the extra bit of challenge, but only died twice in the first 20 hours.
This game more than any could really do with enemy scaling to your level.
Maybe I should of gone with Ultra Hard, how much of a step up is it from Very Hard? Would I just be miserable if I attempted it 😅

Aha! The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Exit hack. :-)
I refused doing it until after my 4th play through was ‘complete’ (consecutive NG+, this one on UH), I got bored with doing my hunting safaris over and over, so I decided to add the hack to my repertoire. I was GL222 at the time, so I felt it wasn’t like cheating. It did allow me to ‘really’ max out my build in terms of coils and weaves. E.g.: everything is Elite coiled now and really strong.
One question perhaps: why the complication with purple coils? They aren’t better than their Elite counterparts, right?
Or am I missing something obvious?
Glad you found this useful! I basically did the same the first time I used it. I had done multiple NG+ runs and did a ton of hunting to upgrade gear. As for those 2 purple coils, you’re correct that they’re not better than the legendary variants. It’s just they they’re unique and unobtainable elsewhere, so some people might want them as “collector’s items”.
omg - went to watch a dupe video and accidentally found out how to use the damn glider correctly. How many times have I failed some of the parcours because the glider opens too late usually and I miss some ledge.
What mod are you referring to on pc?

DOes this still work if i get the burning shores DLC? I have the PSVR2 and whatever addon thats called. This glitch still works for me perfectly. I had leveled up a LOT without getting any good gear cause the grind for resources seemed to outweigh the fun i was having. So i just started it 2 years later again and i had only unlocked like 30% of the map. This game is SO much more fun with all the crazy coils/weaves you can put on and u can actually upgrade multiple purples(and legendarys) without grinding some insane amount. I'm an older, casual gamer so this dupe glitch made the game perfect for me again. It's still challenging too. Very much so. So many mechanics to it it's hard to remember everything in every encounter but i love your vids, they have helped me recall what iforgot and learn a bunch of new stuff.

any update on all the weapon used in weapon wheel?
I used your method which duplicated all my coils. I later re tried once I receive the 25% close range damage coil from Errend. I then duplicated and now can not add these to any weapon. I have tried all rope casters, warrior bows etc and they all say incompatible.
Ah ok so that’s not because of the duplication. Not all coils are compatible with all weapons. Close range coils are not compatible with ropecasters or warrior bows, unfortunately.

Did the patch out dreaded encounter escape on PC. Cannot get past the invisible wall no matter what. Tried with and without frame rate setup stuff. Tried M&K and controller. Nothing works.

If you tried without the frame rate things I mentioned, please try them and see if that works. Other tips in the pinned comment.

Does the old infinite jump method still work today on PS5? I managed it plenty on PS4 last year, but before I waste my time, I wanted to check with you, since you've already demonstrated your knowledge and swift response time.
No infinite jumping does not work after patch 1.18/1.19. So, it does not work on the current PS5 patch. But you can use the much easier methods shown in this video. Only PS4 players need infinite jump.

I have the Dreaded Encouter special coils and Regalla's Wrath before dealing with Regalla thanks to this video. It was intensely challenging getting the superglider to respawn me outside the invisible walls, but I got it to work after about 12 minutes 😅 I'll come back and do the duplication glitch again once I have access to the Isle of Spires and the unique coils on offer there.

That invisible wall in the memorial Grove is there for me all the time. Through every playthrough. I can get to either side of the wall, but I can't cross through it. Weird.

Thank you for the detailed explanation! I couldn't make your old route work on keyboard and mouse (going between the two invisible walls specifically, spent a whole hour on it and it never worked) and I was aware of this route but couldn't make it work either. Your advice *not* to jump but let Aloy climb on the door before crouching was the missing piece of the puzzle and I finally successfully completed the glitch.
Honestly with the amount of pre-farm (to get at least one of every resource and coil/weave) + the time it takes to do 5/6 rotation of the Arena Glitch, it already takes as much time as farming in this game should take overall so I don't feel guilty at all for using it. Horizon is a game where I'll stop and try to kill a machine or a group for no reason beyond enjoying the combat, but I do *not* enjoy being forced to slaughter thousands of them for a mindless grind, regardless of the difficulty. And being forced to do 10 to 15 NG cycle to be able to coil every weapon was mindless nonsense too. I'd rather have my perfect setup for UH and do that in NG+ directly.
So thanks a lot, you were a great help! I'll also watch your machine hunting videos now that I've finished the game on my own, as I prepare to go from VH to UH.
Glad you found this helpful! Yeah I agree having to do multiple NG+ runs to get more copies of the good coils is annoying. And there’s no doubt the grind for upgrade resources is real. I personally kind of like it, but I’m a weirdo that way lol. I do think it would be far more interesting to grind for those resources if machines had a chance to drop more copies of the good coils. That way, while you’re grinding for resources, you’d also be getting more coils.
@@ArktixOfficial We're definitely all different when it comes to grind! There are grinds I've enjoyed but the RNG element is very annoying to me, Horizon's grind is either too mindless or not mindless enough that I can completely pay attention to something else.
For example in Elden Ring, I've grinded max level. Literally 60 hours of repeating the exact same 15 second loop, killing the same 13 enemies 15 000 times. That worked for me because it was so mindless I could actually do something more productive at the same time. Horizon is just involved enough even in Story Mode, that I can't do that. Plus the frustration of not getting a Rockbreaker circulator 6 times in a row was maddening.

@@rinzlergaming701 You can duplicate any coil. Make sure you're putting items in the stash and not taking them out. See pinned comment for other common mistakes.
On ps5 currently can not get out the gate at the end, i can climb up crouch and slip thru but ince inside cant walk put the there side by kala
See pinned comment/description for common issues. You're likely not phasing down through the gate enough.
I play on PS4 and I don't have all these different types of coils. where do you get them to do the duplication glitch?
The only coils you can’t get on PS4 are the elite ones from the Burning Shores DLC. All the other ones are available on PS4.
Is it correct that duplicating resources doesn't work? You can't take more of it in your inventory (pouch full) So its only 15 Volitile sludge each time?
You can duplicate resources, but yes, with some like volatile sludge you can only carry a small amount in your inventory, so you can't duplicate them as quickly.
Hi Arktix, i tried the glitch on the Dreaded Encounter challenge and when i got to the shelter i found out that the stash was empty and the items in the inventory were in a “arena mode” where by 95% of the items in the inventory were missing. Is this normal? I did not dare to proceed when i found out that the stash was empty.
P.S. Meanwhile tried there were no issues with the Grim Prospects challenge glitch. Stash and inventory were full.
So, as I described in the video, you need to use an open loadout challenge for duplication. The Dreaded Encounter route is only for getting those 2 special coils and any other items that get loaded into your inventory during the challenge.

Started on Ultra Hard first try (blind), I'm near the end and will use this after everything is done to prepare for new game+

Do you mean you can phase through and get in the doors but then you can't walk out the gap? If so, I'm guessing you haven't finished Singularity yet. If that's the case, finish Singularity and give it another try.

Anyone managed to glide-jump with an XBox Elite V2 controller on PC? I haven't been able to, and want to make sure it can be done before spending too much time on it.
I've abused these methods so many times I swear I could do it with my eyes closed 😅

How did you get out the gate by kala, I can glitch into the first half of the gate but can't get thru the opposite side just stuck in the middle

No, but you can use them in the glitched state to buy gear, sell them to the vendor, and then exit the glitched state to buy them back. So, in that way, you can reuse the same medals to buy all the Arena gear. It's similar to the process of getting the 2 special coils, but you can use the easier gate escape route.

After I moved the items in the inventory to stash and started the challenge, the items in my inventory were not copied and there was nothing in the challenge. So it can't be done. Is there any solution?
Sounds like you did it incorrectly. You don’t move the items before starting the challenge. You move them during the challenge.

I first did a shopping list to get at least one of all the apex hearts and farmed some more Brimshine to get all the legendary coils.
Now I have 6 runs, plan 4 more to have 1000 of each. Like to have stuff. 🙂

It will worked on patch 1.21 and higher on PS5 and any patch on PC. 1.19 and lower for PS4 needs to use the old infinite jump method, as mentioned.
I can’t find impact damage coil 12% anywhere, literally I’ve probably hunted over 100 apex (insert large machine here) and it does not drop. Weird
change difficulty bro...maybe it will work
This looks 100x Easier than the old method! I was using the old method last night and kept falling off the jump spot and having to restart. I think I maybe got it down 5% of the time 😆
2024 June 03. I tried three times on PC. I always got stuck inside the thick wooden gate and cannot neither go out or get back inside😓
So, the most common reason for that is you didn't quite get Aloy to phase down through the log properly. Make sure you're pushing forward into the gate a bit when she phases down. Another issue is trying to stand up inside the gate. You need to stay crouched the whole time. I hope that helps!
Hey, I'm playing on Ps5, but somehow I just don't get through the gate. Everything worked put the gate part just doesn't let me through.. Any advice?

@@ArktixOfficial Thanks for your answer! I'm already done with the story and I use the performance focused mode :/ I can phase through the poles when crouching and I also reach the opening in the gate but I just cant pass through.
Hmm. It's hard to say what exactly is happening without seeing what you're doing, but I'm guessing you haven't properly phased through the gate. Aloy probably isn't far enough into it. Make sure she climbs up on the gate on her own (no jumping) and then when she's falling down through it push forward on the stick a bit. She need's to phase through as far "into" the gate as possible, if that makes sense.

tried this 20x few days ago and it worked perfectly, however today aloy stands always up when crouching in the gate and trying to get out of the arena.. seems to be automatic :/

@@ArktixOfficial PC here having the same issue, alloy will stand up and get stuck in the middle of the gate.
edit, it worked, I just need to make sure when in between gate aloy don't bump into the gates before the middle part area. Bumping into any of the gates will make aloy stand and stuck.

I know this isn't related but you seem pretty knowledgeable about computer stuff and Horizon Forbidden west. Is there a way to increase FOV to beyond 25, as that is the max in game. You changed the registry to map weapon wheel to tab, is there a similar way you can increase the field of view by editing a game file? I know about changing the aspect ratio to change the FOV that way, but is there a way without changing display aspect ratio?
I am usually against glitching and think they should entirely take licenses from people that have unrealistic low or even negative times in the arena challanges.
But when you have to grind the same machines for like 150 times just to level up your favorite weapon loadout it simply is down to the developers for not being more creative on what machine parts you need.
Oh yeah I wish they'd get rid of those bogus arena times, too. Those are all done used mods/hacks. None are legit. Pretty annoying for anyone who actually wants to grind to get a good time legitimately.
@@ArktixOfficial I am happy I got them all done in the time given. The people using glitches to get negative times or like 0.3 seconds or so must really be people who can't get them done legitimately.
The only ones I 'struggled' with where the Apex Predator one and the one with the elephant machine (don't know the english name) because I got hit over and over again as soon as I stood up again after being hit.
As soon as you get a run where they won't spam attack you like that it is absolutely manageable and I consider myself a mediocre player and admit that I am pretty slow and taking way to long to make sure to get a good hit when it comes to aiming and shooting. 😂
Oh yeah. I’m sure those people with ridiculous times haven’t been able to do it legitimately. They probably haven’t even tried very much. Good work getting through them! 👍
