Many years ago I would get fried chicken from a place that did it similarly. They would cook it in milk, season it and then flash fry it. It was heaven!

I did this last night for a nice change of frying my chicken legs. I did not have Panko breadcrumbs so I made my own crumbs. I took crutons and added some french fried onions from a can, put them all in a ziplock baggy and crushed them. Followed all directions on here and this was a hit with my family. With the seasonings, I did not have thyme, so I added crushed leaf oregano (not powder), and crushed leaf italian seasoning (not powder). Basically what I had on hand. It was so good and flavorful! Also, boiling it first made sure it was done before frying. When I just fry it I have to worry if it's cooked all the way through......Love this recipe!

I might scramble the remaining egg and put in the gravy. I could roast left over bread crumbs combined with some additional seasoning and sprinkle that on top...😳🤭

Nina Sawyer - Fantastic! Just a question: why don’t you cook them by steaming? They cook very rapidly ( asparagus will take some more time) and they will be soft without becoming bland *if you keep an eye on them to prevent over cooking . Then you could always bring to a pan with a little bit of oil or butter if you use it. ( I don’t use dairy) Or without using any pan at all, just the way they are. Or sprinkle with anything you like, or grated with some cheese etc... very nice!

IMO this is the best asparagus!
Good luck with cooking! You got this!! As for rice I cook it in my instant pot or a rice cooker. Like someone else mentioned a rice cooker is the easiest way to cook rice and they aren't very expensive either. I think the 1 I used to use was under $20 but unfortunately it broke so now I use the IP.

There were 8 drumsticks. So you would have to get 4 chickens! 🐓🐓🐓🐓

What’s up Joey! It’s Robert Messner from Port Orange Florida. I ain’t seen you in what 10-14 years somewhere around there. You doing good? I took care of my pops for almost 9 years till he died. I’m thinking about moving out of state. I’m really sick of the humidity because I had a brain aneurysm that nearly killed me. I actually had two but one burst while I was driving some years back. I believe that’s why I crashed earlier in my first truck accident. But the good Lord spared me once again. Try to be good and leave that stuff alone that’s no good for you. Whatever that may be. Peace bro!🤙🏻
