Love the look of the chicken. I love Southern fried style chicken and this looks familiar so will give it a try. Thanks for posting❤
This certainly isn’t a KFC thing. I ran a KFC about 35 years ago and the batter is made with 5Lbs flour, 5Lbs salt, 1Lb pepper, a branded bag of powdered milk that had no listed weight and water. The 13 herbs and spices is just salt basically.
I was told by someone that worked at KFC 20+ years ago that it was not plain flour that we flour already had something in it before they added the salt and pepper. I think he actually even has a RUclips Channel now. I'll have to find it. I've been tweaking my own Popeye's batter recipe. Someone suggested I add a little powered milk or buttermilk powder to it.
In the second recipe, the fried bread sticks?” that “milk” looked too thick when she poured it to be milk… maybe “buttermilk”… ? Plus that chicken needed to be cooked a little longer.. it still had some faint pink color near the bone ….. a serious no in my book, a little longer but it looked amazing. Those bread sticks .. wow.. going to have to try them.
Buy fresh chicken from a large supermarket if you are skittish about the meat being contaminated. If it is seriously contaminated it will have a bad smell.

What KFC employee gave you that since the recipe is in German? And if it was a KFC employee then you are missing some of those 11 herbs and spices, which don't really include S&P they are usually freebies in a recipe. And oh btw we here in the south have been soaking our chicken in preferably butter milk but at least plain milk, usually longer than 30 minutes. So I will take this with the few grains of salt you allow in the coating but down here in the south we like for our flavors to go on into the meat, see if ya gonna spend that money to buy em, don't ya wanna taste em but thanks for the recipe, having lived up North for 6 years in the military I can affirm they need this recipe.

This looks delicious!!😊
I didn’t need the German subtitles to tell this is Oma. With that typical Oma dress and those forearms from doing all the mixing by hand….classic Oma and awesome food go hand in hand❤️

Not a big fan of butter milk, makes fried chicken too dark ! 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Что такое крепость?
крахмал может
Looks delicious. Just one thing lost in translation for bread sticks, said to add milk, looked thicker than milk, thinking maybe it was butter milk or cream poured in instead of milk.
KFC claimed to have 11. WHERE did you find the other two ⁉️🤔
@@sseptember6301 they claimed 13 back in the 90’s. But it was only 2
@@sseptember6301 I actually read somewhere that a couple more were eventually added.
Equal flour and salt? Holy cow that would be salty!
Что за крепость? Крахмал?
In the second recipe, the fried bread sticks?” that “milk” looked too thick when she poured it to be milk… maybe “buttermilk”… ? Plus that chicken needed to be cooked a little longer.. it still had some faint pink color near the bone ….. a serious no in my book, a little longer but it looked amazing. Those bread sticks .. wow.. going to have to try them.
Buy fresh chicken from a large supermarket if you are skittish about the meat being contaminated. If it is seriously contaminated it will have a bad smell.
The Colonel would be pissed ...
I want more seasonings in that flour next time.
Then Add Whatever MORE Spices You Prefer, While The Person Preparing, Cooking, Only Uses What They Prefer In Their Own Recipe.

Worked at KFC and this did not come from KFC. I completely hate misleading titles or out right lies.

😂😂😂😂😂
