If only I had you to chop the garlic, onions, and parsley, I would love to make this. The prep is labor intensive, but I love that it's made with all fresh ingredients. Mushrooms would be a good addition.

It’s preference, as browned garlic bits are wonderful to me but over done burnt not good - once liquid hits the garlic the flavor release and aromatics kick in nicely as well.
As I watched you cook this in the black iron pan I knew it would turn out good. By the time you added the lid I was ready to cry because I felt I could smell the chicken n my kitchen. I have to make this tomorrow as it looks so good and so easy. Ty for sharing this recipe with us. ❤❤️😘

looks great try adding a cooking apple peeled and boiled in water till you have a sauce and then add it to your pan with all of the other ingredients, I'm going to try it your way this weekend though xx

I just had to try this. I did adapt it a little. I left out the salt as I’m watching my intake on that. I used sage instead. I was also unsure what a cup measurement is so I just bought a 150ml pot of single cream and used 150ml of chicken stock as well. I also added some fried mushrooms. I reduced the sauce a little in an open pan then transferred it all to my slowcooker and gave it all 3 hours. It was amazing. Thanks for the recipe.😊
Hi, I tried your wonderful easy recipe...It was very popular with our grandchildren, 20 and 18, even the dogs were allowed to try one bite, and they said yummy, gorgeous chicken!!! 😂👍🐾🐾....I myself cook a lot for my small family here, and my English husband ( we are British, but have been living in NW of Hungary, 50 minutes from beautiful Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest) and I bake my own sourdough bread almost every day, as I give it away to people I want to enjoy a real bread. Just made this and it was so good .amazing.I put very little nutmeg and a tiny leaf of basil with cut up chives over top which I had in my herb garden. But our eyes were rolling back in our heads..lol my bechon maltese went crazy to get some. Thank you for the great video.
I love to cook and eat! I would use my crockpot for this recipe after I browned the chicken . If a receipe has too many ingredients....you lost me. My specialty is taking a box mix of anything, adding ingredients that results in a spectacular meal...you got me there!!!

Looks delicious. I save red onion for fresh dishes though as they can turn gray when cooked. I would sub a yellow onion here.

Sounds like a good recipe. I would add the onions to the skillet before the garlic. You don't want burnt garlic, it becomes bitter and well, burnt.
