Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Also not to mention, Freddie Mercury was an icon for the LGBT community so that kind of makes him stand out against the others.

This was a pretty awesome trailer and one of the few trailers these days that didn't tell their whole movie. We all know Queen and Freddie Mercury, and we all know how iconic they all were, but this trailer leave us wanting for more, and its pretty exciting. Can't wait to see on theater.

For those curious, for the voices where they aren't able to sample Freddie Mercury recordings directly, such as the "Ayyy ohhhh" bit, the voice of Marc Martel, the lead singer for Queen's official cover band known as "Queen Extravaganza" is being used. Look him up!

Paul Lannister, me, too. If Sacha Baron Cohen had played Freddie, then he would have upset Freddie Mercury's, and Queen fans, alike. He would have added bits that weren't true, and added his own material, and he didn't respect Freddie Mercury, as a musician. Just looking at Rami Malek, you can tell he respects the late, great Freddie Mercury, and he is proud to play him, on film. The film-makers got the right guy, to play Freddie Mercury.

Went to see this 2 days ago, the movie made me smile, it gave me goose bumps, made me teary-eyed, made me laugh.. I was stomping my foot and bobbing my head to the tracks, which sounded absolutely insane in the big cinema, hands down the best cinema experience of my life, no contest!
Kurt Cobain was such a Queen fan, he included Freddie Mercury in his suicide note: I think this says a lot about the power of music and Freddie. The note reads:

I watched BoRhap yesterday. It was an AMAZING movie. It was like i saw the real Queen band, not as the actors. Rami Malek did a great portrayal of Freddie. He nailed it. His eyes speaks. Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy and Joe Mazello gave justice to their role as Queen members. These 4 amazing actors has good chemistry, as group and band. This movie, you will feel mixed emotions. Laugh, tears, anger, admiration and love. I cried thrice and can't help myself singing along with their songs.
Worth the wait, to watch this movie and finally last night, i made it. Happy and enjoyed it. Even if i am just a toddler and didn't know you, when you died. I felt like i knew you long before. ❤️👍😃

Just came back from watching this at the cinema. All I can say is words don't do this movie justice. Manly tears were shed. Also, at the end of the movie when everyone got up to leave and then footage of Freddie's singing comes on people just stood and watched refusing to leave before it was done. Three decades later, people still stay to watch him :')
Nice post, and very true! The crowd did the same thing when I saw it, and also burst into spontaneous applause as the credits started to roll. This was the most people I've seen in a theater for a movie in this town in a long time, and I didn't even get to go on opening night. I finally got to see it a week after it opened, and it was still packing the crowds in. I don't care that 'the critics' don't love this movie. Most of them didn't love Queen back then, either. Queen are legends, the 'critics' are not. Simple as that.

2018 was literally the best year in my favor, it was senior year, and last semester of highschool, enjoyed the last good times with classmates. graduated, enrolled in college in the fall, literally on the day the movie was released in theaters worldwide on Friday Nov 2nd my classmate Victoria played all kinds of Queen’s music and awesome hits, We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio GaGa, We Are The Champions, Crazy Thing Called Love, and much more until I left class before my brother had pick me up from class, seen the movie online when it was available digitally, since we didn’t go to the theaters🥲 I first remember watching the tralier when it released a couple of days ago of Early May during those times in 2018, I couldn’t stop watching this teaser tralier. The anticipation lived upto to it’s nature. The likeness we were going to see about Queen’s band and even the GREAT and LEGENDARY Freddie f***ing Mercury” the story, the wonder, the magic all in one.

Watched it last night... Simply amazing. Havent seen such a good movie in a long time. During some parts I noticed several people in the audience were crying. And all the musical scènes were of course brilliant. It's a real must see.

I disagree. The movie looks very disappointing, and I don't get Freddie from Rami Malek. Even if I just focus on his appearance, he doesn't really look like Freddie, only with the glasses, moustache and iconic outfits.
