Hello Bob and Jenny
Just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying your videos. My husband and I started following you when we acquired our first motorhome and found them really useful. I’m on my own now as shortly after retiring my husband died and your ‘how to ‘videos have really helped me master the routine maintenance things my husband always did. I’ve just got to get the confidence to go exploring on my own now. You are visiting some of the places we went to on our tour to Scotland in 2019 so bringing back happy memories
Thank you so much, I do hope you can get out there. So good for the heart and mind.
Any part of Scotland is fabulously beautiful in any weather.
What a view from that CL 👍🏻
The crafters snug looks a nice little site, we are enjoying the trip with you both and of course little Poppy.❤
What an amazing part of the Scottish coastline. It just goes to prove that it’s essential to come off the NC500 for a few miles to explore the wild and beautiful places that very few people take the time to see. That’s a proper CL with nothing but the essentials and a cracking view. 😃💙🚐 Trev
Yes, you have to stop and pause sometimes to appreciate the beauty.
Thanks Bob for your advice have now replaced both tv cables with good ones and now both TVs are working yippee
Hi bob, Jenny & poppy, love this part of Scotland, happy hols. Linda xx ❤
Thank you. It was so peaceful.
really enjoyed this one bob well done getting all that way to st john’s point , enjoying the Scotland tour , 👍 ( we had the dreaded airbag light on the bolero ! )
I need to have printed, an "I've had the air warning" bumper sticker.
Our favourite part of Scotland from Inverness up the A9. We stop at a small campsite at Dunbeath run by Mrs Gwillum and we visit the Clan Gunn Museum, hubby's ancestry. Really enjoyed this video, brings back happy days!
So much better than the crowded west coast.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Castle of Mey is worth a visit if its open, very homely for a castle and the Queen Mother's favourite home.
Yes we went round a few years ago.
Bob, I’ve missed that turn in Thurso as well. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. 😂
Yes! Calm down Jenny, it’s only a video! 😊
Hope this wasn’t rude! ⬆️
No you're fine. 👍
More like October at the moment guys! What a let down of a summer. Nice vid again though!😊
The weather now is just perfect, sunny and 16°C.
My idea of bliss! Ooh, I love the cooking bit, Bob! More cooking please! Well done on the mountain biking 🚵♀️ bit. Maybe a sign at the top of that bloke’s road after 84 years of redirecting? 😆🪧👉
you'd think he might have put a sign out, but maybe he enjoys the chat!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo exactly! 👏
Really enjoyed this Vlog 👏Outstanding scenery, the reason we love using CL's 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Safe travels to Orient. Enjoy.
Wow Bob & Jenny - didn't realise you were RUclipsrs! Thank you so much for showcasing our little slice of Caithness heaven 💌. We also send a Map of Walks (hmmm.... not sure you looked at that?!)!!!, have an enclosed off-lead dog field, online availability and booking calendar, and an uber warm welcome....... 🤩
Yes, we did see the map but forgot about it. Next year we'll book longer!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Fab!
Really enjoyed watching the drive to your lovely campsite
Glad you enjoyed it
Mrs sat nag told you off too 😂That was some trek down to the cliffs but amazing
Loving this Scotland tour. It’s on our wish list to do now😊x
We stayed there in June 21... same pitch 😂 lovely walk across the bay to Castle of Mey
Stunning Little cl great video bob and Genny and of course poppy
Glad you enjoyed it
What a great video. Looking forward to your trip on Orkney. I was there as a youngster in 1979 …. memories …… memories ….
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for sharing all the wonderful scenery as well as the quiet , windy place where you're staying, the bike ride, though electric certainly had you puffing!!!!
You're welcome. There's no way I would have done that ride without electric assistance!
What a quiet restful spot!
We're a smidge worried about your breathing, Bob... You ok? #fusspot
I'm fine, it was hard work that ride, even with electric assist. I'm wearing the microphone quite high up there. If I was that unwell, I wouldn't have even attempted it. #stopfussing 😊
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Lol! Point taken!
#canthelpbeingaworrypots!
Great little site 😁
That steep bit of road is called the Berriedale Braes. Had chuckle when Jenny scolded you for taking a wrong turning😂Crofter's Snug looked a nice spot with a great view. Thanks for sharing
Thank you
Berriedale used to be much worse with a hairpin bend that lorries couldnt do without a shunt! It’s much improved now.
Wow what a view and remote
And like no toilets that’s real living off the grid
Yes, apart from the Electric hook up. 😊
Great watch bob Jenny .watch from hospital bed had operation weekend for blood clot lung glad enjoy self's
Thank you, hope you recover soon.
Ahh we were at Dunnet site last week & now it all seems a lifetime ago 🤭 Cute little site that, lovely views & it is so peaceful up there, can really take it all in & just relax. Having said that, you went on a fairly epic bike trip there 😂 Not sure about that veggie square sausage, we recently tried some vegan black pudding, it was ok (ish) Thanks, Em 💜
I haven't eaten meat since the eighties, so I've no reference. The square sausages tasted 👌 to me. 😊
Lovely video enjoyed this very much,
Thank you
Another great vlog, guys. It must be 20+ years since I was in Thurso. Nice to see it hasn't changed much. In the Orkney's, try to get across to Hoy. The scenery is awesome and the RN cemetery is rather moving....
Try ECU Testing at Heanor near Derby, I’ve used them, great service and guaranteed. You send the part they give you the price and it’s back within a few days, definitely worth a try.
It's interesting how many of these companies are springing up.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo they’ve been going since 2005. They did my abs module and a month later I had the same problem so contacted them, they collected free of charge and returned it within four days, it’s been perfect since
Hi Bob and Jenny, we stayed the night at Dunnit Head Lighthouse earlier this year. I was looking forward to filming the light on the sea, but at 00:30 it was still lite enough to read. We will be back again next year... Enjoy your tour.
What a fantastic journey up to the site x
What a lovely little CL. Hope you are enjoying Orkney. I have been here to the Highlands many times but never gone across to looking forward to seeing what its like. There was some very intrepid cycling there Bob, well done!! Dunnet Head is also a beautiful rugged place to go and visit
Crofter's Snug is beautiful. I love your nippy little Ebike....you can go for miles exploring on it. Stunning scenery yet again, and i love the way Poppy has her own chair to lie on. Always a shame when your videos come to an end ❤
Thank you, many more videos to come!
A great video, it’s lovely being somewhere so peaceful and empty 😂😂❤
It was!
We stayed at Crofters snug last October. We booked it simply as a convenient site near the ferry in the morning. However WOW we loved it!! Very sorry to leave that morning and definitely could have stayed a few days. We got the drone up (bravely) and got some lovely windy views of the coast line. It really is a wonderful place
Yes a special place.
Hi Bob,Jenny and Poppy, weather looked a little drizzly on your journey, Oops missed the turn off. Beautiful views from the Crofters Snug. Beautiful view of the sea. Looking forward to your next video x Julie and Tony x
Thanks. We do seem to have better weather in the last few days than much of the rest of the UK.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Yes I think you have, been dry here today but rainy yesterday x enjoy x
Easily done missing a turn. Makes it more realistic watching videos as we make mistakes and go wrong. I went to Thurso back in 2019 in a heatwave in May
I try not to make things up... 😊👍
@@BobEarnshawMoHo I like that it's kept in the blog. :) Look forward to the next blog video
You must stop making these videos !!!! We are too envious that we're not there. We love Scotland too. The scenery and footage that you capture is superb. It has been two years since our last tour of the Highlands. We must return. Best Wishes to you both and Poppy, have a great tour, from Dave and Sophie xx
More to come 😊
Have you a set number of hours before taking
a break on a Road Trip Bob ?
That white Cottage on its own would do me in the middle of no where....isnt there a horse racing Course at Thurso ?
I normally aim for 2 -2.5 hours. Poppy's usually our guide. She wants to eat around 11:15 so we have to stop by then.
Hi there, sorry to but in, just to say there is no racecourse at Thurso. The most Northerly is at Perth.
There is however, a very fine distillery 😃 slainte 🥃
You might be thinking of Thirsk racecourse.
Sacrilege Bob, Vegetarian Lorne Sausage!!!!
Well I enjoyed it and no animal had to die for my pleasure.
Will you be calling on Colin and Sean from Foxes Afloat whilst you’re up there?
Not if I'm not invited... Not sure where they live anyway.
