Hi Bob and Jenny and Poppy, yes the site did seem a little noisy, good job it was just for one night, does spoil you when you have been on a quiet site. Liked the look around the site and your bike around the town. Thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x
Thanks Bob and Jenny as usual. Not our type of site that but still great to see and handy for a stop over I suppose. We are enjoying your Orkney series. We love it there and hope one day (when we retire as work gets in the way) to spend much much more time exploring.
nice site bob , we’ve watched the IOW vids and now up to date with the Orkney vids , wishing life away but hurry up retirement ! 😮 OMG that cruise ship! great bike shots , be fetching fish n chips for you & jenny next … 😂 time to get a basket attached 👍😀 another informative video thank you
Another great upload Bob & Jenny and I agree this site is a bit more lively, I think I have booked the better site on the other side of Kirkwall bay, thanks as well For the mobile signal update as my WiFi is with Vodafone 😊😊, it’s just are two mobiles as I’m with O2 and Elaine is with 3, so we should have some contact with the mainland. Bob looking forward to number 5 as that’s another location on my days out list.
Stayed there for 1 night in May. Convenient site for Kirkwall but as you noted I found it busy and noisy. One thing I found at all 3 sites I stayed at on Orkney was the 10am departure time. I’m used to 11am departure and found it difficult to be ready before 10am
Pitches look a bit short there, not sure we'd get our tag axle on one!!! But as you say, its handy for Kirkwall and shops etc. Doubt we'll ever go to the Orkneys, but interesting to see the sites. The shower rooms look really nice.
Not the prettiest of caravan sites, nor the quietest. Not sure what I was expecting of Orkney, something a bit wilder and more romantic I think. Still, a very enjoyable video, thank you.

It was two nights and it was pretty quiet at night, so not too bad.
Nice site. Handy for the shops and great for families!
Definitely!

The fish N Chips bike ride didn't go as planned!
I think I could put up with the noise after such a quiet start, just for one night 😉🤣 Great bike ride. Very enjoyable video 😃🚐 Trev
Thank you very much.

It looks bigger on the Island than i thought, i dont know why i thought it would be tiny.
The maps make the north of the British Isles look small.
Site looked ok not like caravan and motorhome sites. Not sure. Glad your enjoying be careful on that bike. X

You'd probably be OK if you get the back end out (over the back of the pitch).
