we have just spent a lovely couple of days at the exebridge site after watching this vlog, and only living 1 hours drive away from it, and will certainly be going back, thanks for the vlog even though i did watch it when it 1st came out
That was fab and no bricks thrown at the van by locals as you were driving by! It’s lovely to be out and about. We used our tee towels in our motor home to quell the little rattles but that’s what happens in these machines! Lovely’s site I must try it! Happy days ahead! ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🍺🍺🍺
😂😂Morning Peter...yes it was good to get back out at last. Fingers crossed this great weather continues and we will have plenty more trips, bbqs and good times. I hope you’re okay 😊 Karina
Hi great vlog, I have one request would you please sit at the back of your van while travelling and you will see how much you get flung about while at the front it is lovely smooth ride. I’m not trying to be negative I’m just saying it’s not like the boot of a car and not to mention the road noise, we keep our dog in a cage behind passengers seat where we can keep an eye on her in case she gets distressed, just a thought.
Thanks John, funnily enough I spent years sat in the back of vans at work so know about the ride and the noise. I take onboard your comment. Enjoy your motorhoming in 2021 and this great weather 😊🐾 Karina
We enjoyed our first trip out last weekend weather was excellent frost morning but sun all day if you not been have a look at Pembrey in South Wales we are new to motorhome ownership can really recommend this site and easy walk to the beach enjoy your travels.
That’s a good tip Ian, we got a yellow one from Amazon that seems to do the trick. I have seen many people lose their pitch over the last few years though 😊
Spotted Dunster just before Karina mentioned it, we visited whilst staying at Minehead CAMC site. Luttrell Arms was nice dog friendly hotel, had nice meal there. Enjoy rest of your hols.
The site seems quiet and very peaceful and no issues with distancing, other sites might be busier but this was good. Enjoy your trip next week 😊 Karina
I’m very jealous but it was great to see you out. Iv noticed quite a few caravans and motor homes on the roads near me all off on adventures. Unfortunately I won’t be travelling until October when I go to Norfolk but can’t wait for it.
WOW the suspension look really hard......shaking really hard...The problems i have with a motorhome is that if you need a bottle of milk you have to unhook and drive in the motor home to the shop. Then of course you have to insure it and then have to maintain another engine and body and the likes. So for me i guess taking 10 mins to set up and then buzz off in the car is more suited to my needs than a motor home...but each to his own and i hope you really enjoy your new toy and have great travels ahead ;)
Hi Emmet, no the suspension feels pretty normal for a Motorhome/Van, it feels softer than the Matrix we had last year I can say that. Thanks for watching and I hope you have some great travels this year, Karina 😊
Hi Karina We arrived at our site in Devon at 12:01 on Sunday night/Monday morning so just legal. We had fish and chips at Rockfish at Brixham and whatever your standards this is a 10/10. Line caught haddock and chips is the best I’ve ever tasted. Superb. So glad to be back out doing what we love. Keep up the good work and your enthusiasm is brimming over just like ours. Huw 👍🏻
Thanks Tracy, we will see how he gets on in the summer, there’s ventilation in there when travelling but if its too warm he will be back on his harness. 🐾🐾😊
It's so nice to see a recreational vlog from you both, we all have that, as i call it "caravan face" when we finally get back to some normality ,it's great to see you getting something back from the industry that you both give so much , enjoy your time away xx
Thanks Steve, we do have some eBikes that will fit in the garage so plan to get these out soon. It’s a bit harder with having Fudge as he is getting slow and creaky in his old age and cannot keep up. 😂🐾 Have a nice week and take care 😊
Thanks Steve, yes, we have secured the crate to the D rings so it doesn’t move about. There are lights in the garage too and air vents so it seems to work well. 🐾🐾
Congratulations on your first trip away in the new Motorhome, it looked great on the pitch and super everything works 😁 your video made us very hungry, thanks for the pie 🥧 shop tip 👍🥰
Another excellent video, currently have a caravan bit longing for a camper but beyond my budget with three kids, can you do some videos from the perspective of a new motor homer, what's it like going away for the day, leaving a pitch (packing up) and returning later, does it rattle as much as people say and how do you prevent this. Just some ideas. Keep up the good work.
Nice motor home watched you since you had your caravan watched a few of your recent videos woolacombe wondering where your dog was no way our two dogs big dogs aswell would travel in the garage they are strapped into the seats with the cat like a few people have said don’t like to think of fudge in that garage sorry my opinion like to see my dogs
😂😂😂There is most definitely a “theme” to this trip... Cakes! 🍰 Made me laugh .. all Motorhomers have cakes 🚐😆 Loved that site, great views. Looked nice at Dulverton ... ohh yes, more cake. Nice one Karina. Great first trip away it seems .. enjoy the rest of your time there 🚐😃👍🏼Michelle and Andy
I really enjoyed this video, I've toyed with a motorhome for years, just the parking at home is the issue! Anyway, back to you guys, very informative and I waited a while to see what you had. Very impressed!
The Lakeside CAMC site looks nice though I normally go to the Exmoor House CAMC site which is actually in Dulverton hence good for motorhomers. Interested to hear how you get on with your motorhome as I am a seasoned caravanner who has often wondered what it would be like to go over to a motorhome!
Really pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Lakeside, probably our favourite site, not a long drive from home which is a bonus. Sitting alongside the river Exe in the Anchor Gardens is a must. Safe journey, keep safe👍😊😷
A very enjoyable watch. The information you provided was very thorough and would be really helpful if we ever make it down there. At the moment we are waiting for the call to say our campervan has arrived! Pleased to see how happy you both are with the new to you Adria🙂
Hey guys. I am confused. According to the Caravan and Camping rules I read online. Toilets an Showers closed but will open next Monday. Not the 12th. You have to be self contained. Did we get it wrong as we put motorhoming on hold until after next Monday. Cheers from George and Jane
Hi guys, toilets are open on The Caravan and Motorhome Club sites, but not showers. The dishwashing and laundry is open as far as I know. Some sites may still have toilets closed if they haven’t had staff in place so check with the site you want to book. I don’t know about The Camping and Caravanning Club sites so they may have a different arrangement. I hope that helps, Karina 😊
What sort of vehicle did you get? Is is an Adria Coral? (Sorry if you said, but I didn't catch it). I love the fridge contents! So English 🤣 cakes, pizza, chicken, ketchup, milk, cereal and tea... not a salad or vegetable in sight! 😲😁 ketchup and milk in the salad box 👍😄
😂Yes it is a Coral Plus 690 SC, and the vegetables are a big no on holiday unless it is fried onion on sausage! Cooking is not one of my strong points as many people know! 😊 Karina

Hi, glad your back on the road👍just a question about when you put fudge in the garage did you put a little light on when you travel? The only reason is that we’re going to do the same for the first time in a motorhome from the back of the car was the dogs so they had light through the window but it’s a bit dark in the motorhome garage 👍
Hi Westley, I think it depends what your dog would prefer, we don’t but there is a light in the garage. If your dog would be happier with a light then use one, it is always what is best for you and your pet. 😊🐾🐾 Karina
I take it there's no points for spotting which cats have got the cream 😂😂 Good to see a vlog of you out and about again. Have a great trip. Take care, stay safe Ally & Alan 😍😍
You said in your report that the dog is carried in a cage thats not the issue the issue is that you stated the dog was in a cage in the garage surly that not safe in there what happens if you in a crash and someone fuss into the back of the van

Why would you keep a big dog in a cage in a garage in the back of the motorhome you should be reported
By law a dog has to be restrained in a vehicle, our dog is use to travelling in a crate and this is safe and legal. How do you think dogs are transported in vans? There are several companies that offer a conversion service of motorhome garages just for this purpose. Please feel free to report me and I will be pleased to show them how my dog travels and the great holidays he gets taken on. The people who need reporting are those that have their dogs sat on their knees whilst travelling as when the airbag goes off their dog will be the first casualty. Karina
