We don't have all the details yet. It's a bit of a stretch, but who knows, maybe binning could make it work in time. Nonetheless, for short bursts of slow-motion, raw footage is perfectly fine! We'll discuss all the information about this topic further on our Discord. Thank you!
How did 8k raw become possible, isn't the effective resolution 12mp for imx890? Also there was a video about OP8pro shooting 4k 120fps raw about a year ago, isn't that the first?
For that device someone made an advanced mod to work like that not related to MC! Currently OP11 offers native this option! Even in stock rom! So this is the very first official device that works out of stock, also Pixel 8 Pro works at 120fps but only in FHD stream and not very stable. Starting from next beta we add one method that will help improve capturing on this short bursts. There is an 8k@24fps available yes! We need more OP11 users to learn more. Thanks
@@MotionCam I have the OP11 as well and am curious if you can explain how this can do such high resolution, and even in raw output, when Sony's IMX890 sensor is ~12MP max? I can not seem to find an explanation on how they, Sony/OnePlus, proclaim values like '50MP & 48MP' when in reality the sensor can only about 12MP total? Can you help clarify? I just found out about your app, MotionCam, and will test it out for a raw photography workflow. Thanks!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultrra that can shoot 4k 120fps and have this app, and it only goes to 60fps 😢 This is awesome, though! I subscribed. This is an awesome awesome videography app
@@sohailaftab1365 it means that MotionCam cam, can use what is available in Camera Api 2. Lets say that Stock camera can capture 120fps, doesn't necessary mean that third party apps can have access to do the same.
@@MotionCam Samsung is famous for this, in a bad way. They won't let third party developers into their system and I don't know why, it would make their phones more desirable. Yes, it appears you may have an older version of your Samsung software. As far as I know, they fixed that bug about a year ago. Try updating to their latest version
HISTORY!!!! 🙌🏽👏🏽
Thanks! Pretty much, we welcome any other smartphone to join the 120FPS RAW club :D
Yeah but USB 2.0 speed, thats so damned ridiculous, good luck transferring 4k 120 raw files
I wonder why there is no optimization for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, and what is the best device on which the application can be run?
Many devices work well, there is no best device yet :) more info on Discord
Does it work with prores direct encoding ? Or only mcraw ?

Doubt it. My s23 ultra will drop frame in prores direct recording even at 30fps. I can not think any phone right now can do 120fps smoothly.
@@nightdonutstudio Weird when I had the s23Ultra Motioncam rarely ever dropped frames

Can my Poco F4(Sd870,12/256) capture 4k 60fps?, How?
Currently 30fps is max that I can record.
Sick
Can you optimize the app motioncam app for pixel 8 pro maybe get 60fps?
Pixel 8 Pro can capture 60fps
Brilliant! I just got vivo x100 pro. Can I go 4k 120 in the app? It is not recommended on the app setting
Vivo is not providing 120fps. Thanks
@@MotionCam why? need snapdragon cpu? gen3?
Hello. I can buy new device for my small short mobile films. Which best device recommended at the moment?
Hello, most flagships are very good, you can join our Discord for more information's!
How optimized is the Xiomi 14?
We don't have info about Xiaomi 14, but 14u, is a solid performer for MC, up to 60fps! (more info on Discord)
@@MotionCam So in theory the 14 can be the same, as processor is the same in both!
How is this even possible?!🤯🤯
Does the Samsung S23 Ultra max out at 4k 30fps when shooting RAW?

@@MotionCam okay, are there any SSDs that are known to be able to handle 4k at 60fps or 120fps RAW? Just thinking ahead for when the S25 Ultra comes out.
For 60 Fps u can use any NVME with a good CASE, or Samsung T7/T9 would do the job, and for 120fps raw capture that we might need to wait an see

yes, minimal grade, from a lut pack that will be launched too one of this days :)

Please make it happen in samsung s ultra series
Please please please

I don't think they'll allow it, simply because they're dicks.
Why there is no option for general hdr photo like pixel HDR plus
Hello, MC has diffrent ways of capturing the photo stream. You can learn more on our Discord. Thanks
I know it has raw photo mode in burst or raw video but the default jpeg mode is poor in dynamic range
custom rom? Pixel Experience Lineage os evo x
which one😊
stock is enough :D
Is it supported for Samsung S23 Ultra 😮
Please share some details

You can render them as video files, or transfer over wire or wireless same as any other device :)
