Ball main?
Roadhog is a decent Ball counter atm on Tank.
1. He can play somewhat independently from the team with his self heal (like when Ana and Junkrat are setting up a kill on Ball in the video) he'll be able to keep himself alive with the help of a good Kiriko.
2. His hook can snatch ball as he rolls away on low hp and reposition him away from supports (now that theres an extra distance between him and his hook targets)
3. His ultimate can clear patches of the minefield simply by firing at the Ball or any priority targets (and it has extra duration now to do so)
4. Ilios and Rialto can give the Hog a chance to ignore Ball's survivability completely and turn him into a one-shot target, both from the extra hook range and a well positioned ult.

ML7 can you make a guide on Ana positioning? I feel like I get a lot of teammates that go in too deep and lose LOS often so it might be my positioning thats hurting my heal uptime.

Chazm is so good at ball it’s insane
yes....yes he is. A massive inspiration for all us ball mains. I used to think yeatle was the best but after watching Chazm in contenders and then finding his youtube i gotta say, it's not even close.
I like Havana much more than Junkertown, Shambali or Royal. It feel like all fights on Havana hapening in large open space, in the same time there are a lot of places where you can hide as support and constantly change angle and still be able to see your whole team. On other mentioned maps it's a lot narrower, so it's harder to position yourself. At least for me.
I like Havana as well! I was so happy getting to play the map again. I miss a lot of the maps from Overwatch 1. I know 2CP isn't really a thing anymore but still I miss those maps as well. :\
Havana third point def is dumb op for a good widow tho. Like u have all the advantage u want as a sniper.

Tbh I just pick Brig when there is Ball an the enemy team.
I mostly guard the backline flanking routes and deny his grapple plays before he even reaches his fireball
playing against chazm this season must be really fun
i wish blizzard would fix kirikos teleport :/ watching ml7s videos of playing her, and obv using the teleport before death, but he still dies? and as i play her ive had many instances where i did the same but still die. like as i press it it has its cool down, so its shown its used... oh playing support
brig also counters ham. with the upcoming brig buff, she will be able stun with shield bash during her ultimate. not only is she a good counter for ham, she will be a better one when brig gets the ultimate buff
want to add that brig is not better than the anna and junk combo, i jus wanted to add that brig is a pretty good counter in general
actually when the buff comes out u can have the ultimate combo. SleepDart+Trap+bashstun=a fucked tank

Sleep into Junkrat trap is probably one of the most annoying combos there is in OW2 since a lot of the CC was removed lol that poor ball

Cc is a necessary evil in this game tho, since there are so many hyper mobility hero in the game. Or else they have to make every hyper mobility heros a glass cannon . Just like tracer

Seeing ML stand inside ball made me thing of a literal transport tank in OW2 where you can hop inside the tank, dive in and everyone jumps out to start a fight, I think to balance it you would have to have it where you take a percentage of the tanks DMG taken and can't use abilities while being transported like if the tank takes 20% of their HP you would pop out with 20% missing, could be interesting

Is there a game mode where I can just practice sleeping ball mid-pile drive? It's the one thing I can't sleep for the life of me and it's hard to practice it cause you only have so many opportunities to sleep a ball mid-pile drive in actual games.
Havana > Junkertown and Numbani. Yeah the first point on attack sucks when there's a Widow killing 3/5 of your team but it's still far better than Junkertown for sure.

am I the only one that switches on the wipe that causes a point cap on this map? I do this to counter the massive differences in spacing from outside, inside, then back out.. Makes up for the range differences in the fights, without having to compromise anything other than a few seconds worth of ult charge.. Also allows me to make sure im playing a counter, and adapting to any switches from my team, or the opposing, as well.

Ball and Doom are the most annoying ranks because of their mobility and cc. Ball just has so much hp and I really wish Brig would have her stun back. Just sleep dart is not good enough, especially in my elo where people ignore their supports (but flame when we don't heal) and focus fire is a myth nobody has ever heard of

i like havana btw xD its a cool map, a bit tedious in competitive cos its very long and the 2x rounds, but its ok to me. At least i dont have a spam of this map like coloseum or esperanza. Could you tell why do you think its bad? Due to the highground locations or?
ball is the WORST character to come to overwatch, it's so clear blizzard doesn't play the fcking game.
I hate this bullshit map. The sightlines are too ridiculously long for many heroes to maneuver around(looking at you, Brig).
There are people alive and watching this video who don't know what gangam style is, enjoy knowing that :)

Havana is the worst map in the game, especially on console. It’s always determined by a 50/50 of who’s the better ximming widow maker (if you are lucky enough to have a widow player) if you don’t get a widow maker player you just lose automatically
I don’t see many xim user. You can have rlly good aim with controller to. I have my accu on 100% and smoothing on 99%

Read title of vid, thought to myself.....hmmmm the best way to counter ball....pick....i don't know....any of the 10 hard counter characters in the game and just focus on him....Reality check here. Ball is movement based, any character that can stop his movement can counter him. Lucio is a pain in the ass, sombra is actually easier to play against than a lot of other heroes because you can counter play her by adjusting strat and hunting her translocator. Orisa.....is a mega hard counter to ball and honestly it seems like almost every hero in the game has some kind of ability that can trivialize Ball as a character. Since stuns were removed the other stuff stands out so much more now. Even small hitbox collisions can counter a ball, you just gotta know where he's coming from and how he wants to engage to counter him. People don't like that idea because it requires actual brain power to analyze stuff like that but that is the answer to how you deal with him.
I am a ball main/one trick since his release. Peaked mid masters playing ball when he was considered the worst tank in ow2 and the same things that countered him then, counter him now.
Kiriko has gold weapon bug that does NOT show your gold weapon is equipped to other players, only from your POV. Everyone please report to OW2 forum please!
