I always liked how even though Dick loved Bruce, he knew that him being Batman created a barrier between the mission and showing love for his family. He knew once he took on the mantle of Batman, he would take on the responsibilities of his father and the burdens of what it means to put on the cowl. Luke is good in this movie and I honestly did like him in Batwoman.
I hate how Apokolys War and Meek writers ruined the awesomeness that is Dick as Batman. Someone who rebuked the cowl, accepted it out of responsibility, and the lessons learned from watching someone as broken and soulless as Bruce. He was always a cautionary tale and Dick is the perfect evolution of the mantel. Not to mention the sons of Batman, Dick and Damien, are perfect for one another.
I thought this movie was really interesting because of the subversion of expectations where Bruce is the one needing saving. I'm a sucker for a good BatEnsemble so media like Bad Blood really appeals to me
Implicitiy pretentious I have to thank you for these videos! Keeping DC alive for me since I stopped reading the comics and stopped watching (most) of the films. The editing and stories you tell bring back the good old animated series stories I used to love or at least a feeling of it❤️
0:41 Anybody else think the name Bat Wing is pretty dumb. Like he’s a decorated vet in a high tech metal suit which makes me think he should be named after a sick ass Military plane. A better name would have something like Black Bird,Sentry, or Raptor,it’s a plane and a bird of prey so it would fit with the “named after a flying animal” thing

Ive been watching the dcamu movies and I really loved the first 3 with Damian introduced (Not to say I didnt enjoy the others). I loved this movie and all the character development. I drew a picture of Damian and Heretic LITERALLY an hour ago and wrote Damian saying "hes my brother." I connected with some of these cgaracter so quickly despite their lack of screen time lol. Id love a video on heretic!!

This quite possibly might be the worst of the dcau movies. Most of them were quite atrocious in this continuity but hooooooboy did I hate this one so much.
Man Kate Kane is one of the worst additions to the Bat Family, right next to Batwing and The other “diverse” addition that has yellow in his costume? The best “diverse” addition they’ve done is Jarro cause he’s awesome

So... Are they creatively inept or just lazy, because give that character a blonde buzz cut and it's Aqualad from Young Justice. Not even in the subtle you can see the similarity, but 1 to 1 copy.

The best part of Kate taking up the name "Batwoman" before learning who Batman was is that Bruce is her cousin.

One issue I've had with Kate Kane Batwoman is that I don't like the concept of Bruce Wayne still having remaining relatives after his parents' death.
The Kanes weren’t exactly close so it’s not an issue really.
The right answer is always Batman. Especially when having trouble with too much Smallville, episode 101 was an insult to the Batman character!
