Came for the comments...🍿
his wife came when he "hit" her..
I did the RTT for years, all done. The rainy days suck. I have moved to a smaller RV ( travel trail) full bathroom, queen bed, heat and AC. I got an Ibex. It’s great to unhook from it and you still have your tow vehicle to use and base camp is all set up still. Perfect for hunting.
Great insight and information Mike! Appreciate all you do! God bless brother!
Thanks for the review. You have a real knack for breaking things down and giving your viewers an honest review. BTW, I only see you on RUclips or your Underground videos.
Thanks for the information Mike ❤
The contrast between the most capable warrior in the world and a loving and attentive dad is mind blowing and just awesome. BTW, great rig. 🙂
This aged like milk. Most capable warrior, loving and attentive dad... to woman beater. Enjoy your time in prison, Mike.
You probably regret this comment now don’t you lmfao
@@AchillesActualno I don’t.
You can also use the word "comfort" or "comfort factor"
Standby by for the feedback on it. Looks like a solid choice.
Roofnest also makes an xl
I find rooftops too expensive for what you get. I’ll get an off-road trailer. These look nice though.
I haven’t seen you on my feed in so long I had to rack my brain to remember the channel name.. I’m subscribed! And have been for a few years and I NEVER see you on my feed! This channel IS VERY important!
Dig it!
Not a roof top tent fan. My personal opinion. Ton of folks out there utilizing them. How ever you do it, get out and communicate with wilderness. 🇺🇸
I would like to see the cost strategy on these. $3600 are they not prepared to sell at scale is it cost restrictive to expand. How can they bring the price down while still making a profit?
Wow
We have both the Skycamp 3.0 (on my truck) and and the Evo V2 XL (on my wife’s 4runner). I’m 6’ 2” and about 275.
The iKamper’s size is unparalleled. However set up and break down, as well as usability, features, and exterior mounting locations (or lack there of) limits it. The V2 is far faster to set up, has built in lighting, better ventilation, and exterior mounting points where we have an awning one one side, and Joolca EnSuite double mounted on the other for bathing and toilet use.
I highly recommend buying the heavy duty ladder for the V2 which feels more stout and locks in better.
If we ever buy another RTT it will likely be a V2 as we are totally impressed with it.
So weird i feel the same way n that's the truth in all.
I have an FSR tent too, I use an electric blanket in it when it's cold. Keep it on top of you so it warms up the air too.
Rooftop tents are cool and all, but to me, theyre a young mans game. My back hurts just looking at it
Or you can just pitch a regular tent next to your car
Not knocking the video, but I don't get the concept. Once deployed your vehicle is stuck until you repack. I suppose everything has a niche though.
@coyoteodie4458 the breakdown of fsr and most hardshell tents is just a few minutes. Theb180 degree awning can be stowed in 5ish minutes aswell.
@@45406rd ehh yes.. but there’s many reasons not to do that depending where you camp. I nice laid out paid camping site sure.
Michael, we love our gofsr, faslntastic in the northwest winters and major rain and wind with no addons. Checkout desert armor products for attachments.
I like camping but sleeping in a tent is tough because I have some back issue as a result of 36 years of powerlifting and some MMA. I still would not want a rooftop tent. I'd rather have a camper trailer that has an actual bed.
Instead of G.. you can say Wireless Holepuncher 😂
I followed your SOP, i am Korean American, im 6'1, and hate rooftop camping but tried it out; I put the Annex around my exhaust and now I feel funny. thoughts?
Find advice elsewhere. Rex Kwon Do ain’t it.
Is this what we're supposed to put on top of our electric bug out vehicles? Maybe to store our biometricly activated gun holsters?
Sorry Mike, not spending 2-3k for a tent. Review one that's around 1k and just as good. They are out there. A lot of people don't have your money.
I support you and believe in you Mike
Abusing women is wrong.
There is no such thing as a best rooftop tent. They all suck!
Jeeps… just suck.
Haters in the comments
The fact that it's on a POS jeep and not a real man's Toyota takes away all credibility
What year is your "real man's Toyota" ? Don't say it's got an automatic transmission either.
Your "real mans Toyota" is just a copy of a Jeep. The FJ40 was a blatant reverse engineered copy of the Willys Jeep. "Landcruiser, I AM YOUR FATHER" - Jeep
I think Jeep and Toyota are both really good ...at marketing to dumb (but trendy) suburbanites that haven't seen as much dirt road as my running shoes.
re: resent post on "actual" - Mike.G is supported...despite third-party news - stay-well...
