I went in to poulson customs earlier today to have a look at the custom bsa . Love what they have done with the bike ! Really friendly staff and overall a cool shop
Great 👍 video. I like your evaluation of the before and after performance. This seems like it would be a great daily commute or just for fun 🎉 kind of motorcycle. I enjoyed this video alot!
That's a nice bike. It's got a nice sound. The only changes I would make are a high pipe and a bash plate. I know it's not really a dirt bike , but if you're going to make it look like a scrambler or desert sled, finish the job.
Somethings I don’t like such as the wider bars and silly little indicators. I’m 5’8 so I’m not sure about that lovely seat with extra ride height. The exhaust system is a winner along with the rear suspension. Paint job on the tank is a stunner.
Great to see the spirit is still alive BSA & CCM were unbeatable in their heyday.. Unfortunately originals are generally unreliable & leak oil most of the time Enjoy your ride my dear 😊❤
Lovely looking bike! I heard the stock tyres werent so good. This def a bike I'd own. Perfect for some green laning and country roads. P.s not sure I'd want to take it through some rough stuff, too nice for that😉
I came back to biking after a 15 year layoff and I’ve had a plethora of old BSA’s and other bikes later…. For my return fancied a classic looking modern retro and couldn’t believe that the BSA coast was coming out almost identical and look to 3 of my BSA.’s… I’ve test ridden a lot of motorbikes and four weeks ago I tested the Goldstar and frankly I was disappointed and in its standard form I won’t be buying it…. It literally had nothing on my performance and handling modified a 65 Thunderbolt… There is so much that BSA today should I’ve got right because no doubt about it they almost got it with looks and that brilliant clever engine…. Hopefully they will listen to the critique and make these attractive to many riders…… for now I’ll be going down the Royal Enfield route probably the 650 shotgun that really handles… another great review and chat about this lovely custom bike
Shit, another Tomboy offering that slipped past me upon it's release... but i'm here now. What a bike this particular Goldie is, I reckon the Gold Star has to be my very favorite of all the Retro releases of the past few years, but maybe i'm biased having ridden BSAs in my earlier youth and always wished i'd never sold my Lightning. Love the colour and sound of this Bespoke Poulson Scrambler and one of these, might just be on my christmas list..... (just in case you're wondering what to get me Dei) !! A good video, well edited and interesting to watch. thx.
They are the same as any othr speedo/tacho, but have the null placed at a different starting point. They turn in a clockwise motion like all other speedos do. I had many BSAs back in the day and loved this peculiarity.
Very cool bike, will Poulson now switch to upgrading the BSA 65 Scrambler? I like idea of better suspension and ground clearance for trails, are the front forks stock or longer springs? 😎
Nice video. I thought the 'new' Goldstar was rather dull and predictable, appealing only to people who cannot tell the difference between it and the real thing. That bike however has exactly the right vibe to appeal to a much wider audience. Shame it's a tasty one off custom. But just your little video might sell a few of the new scramblers, albeit with all the correct exhaust strangulation etc....🙄
No comparison to the original GoldStar , but I guess this is the soft world we live in today , This special Scrambler version is nice ,don't get me wrong , just not like a real BSA of times past.
But it will likely leak oil , the suspension is harsh on today's roads, the brakes need replacing as originals only work really well when hot, the headlight is like a candle and good luck kick-starting one because of the high compression racing engine. Horses for courses...
Standard is dog ugly, bespoke is miles better. Could not live with the back to front clocks....what where they thinking? Sounds like you had a blast, so all good.
I’m impressed by how well you highlighted the aesthetic and performance aspects of this bike. I'm looking forward to more of your incredible posts! 💯

Great looking bike. Love to see a Lightning 750 next.

Eine große und berühmte Marke erwacht zur neuen Strahlung ! Tolles Bike !

Your laughter and your joy are amazing!😉
I love everything but the extruding bug / mesh screen on the headlight. Nice job guys!

Enjoy your ride my dear 😊❤
My friend raced Flat Track on a BSA Goldstar 500 cc single in the early 1960's.
Looks like a Triumph!
How well do your heated gloves hold up in this cold weather
That looks fantastic, I would love to give it a squirt....
And the BSA Scrambler looks top notch...😊
You look good on the BSA Deimante!
Lovely looking bike! I heard the stock tyres werent so good.

Good evening Tomboy. Looks cool 🤘. Safe riding girl and see you in the next one 👍😊...
Hi When are they gonna bring scrambler to Australia?
Jolie vidéo comme d'hab chère tomboy 🙏👏
I think it needs a high level exhaust really.
A good job and pretty nice but too expensive for this new bsa version with a lot of negative mec.&engine aspects.
Wow thank you very much my favourite and you are the first😂
Looks awesome!! 💯💯💯
But the speedometer/tachometer, are they upside down?
They are all like that as a nod to the past, when they were also all like that on Gold Stars.

Have you ridden the New Fantic Caballero Scrambler 500?
I had one and sold it within 3 month…. Cheap, rough ride.

Certainly looks the business

Tomboy 👋🤍🕊 🇸🇬
Do I see you or the bike. You are good equally the bike is also
Alot of the bike looks right. However, the forks look a bit staid.
Is it me… or do BSA, RE, Mutt and co secretly wish they were Triumphs?
The problem is you can buy a real BSA for the same price as a fake one with a BMW knockoff engine and it won't half its value in a year either 🙄👍

that's how the 1960s clocks worked
