I like to remind people that In no way am I a fantastic tattoo artist guys. I just love tattooing but I am still on my journey and want to show you how its done so you can do it and do it better then me!! 🤘 So don't give up if you want it bad enough its yours for the taking!
Appentice Carts allow you to work on and develop tattooing related hand movements and
techniques before you ever load a needle into your tattoo machine or touch skin. I think this is a AWESOME tool for those new to tattooing or looking to for a fun easy way to practice techniques and get a feel for how to hold and operate a tattoo machine. I also believe these tattoo pen carts are great for those who are skilled as well as it allows you to make art with your machine without the need for all the extra supplies, giving you the ability to stay up on some of your tattoo techniques and movements.

I gotta get my hands on some of these even if I dont use em I'd totally let my kids use them on me so they can get a feel of what I do lol
Hello Dave! Thank you for reviewing my pen cartridges. Great video and can’t wait to see what you can do with them in the future. Glad to see you enjoyed them. ❤❤ stay blessed! 🙏🏽💫
im willing to buy... but 76$ dollars of shipping .. a way too expensive
Willing to buy, im from singapore. But the $125 shipping for 2 box of cartridge pen, i think i’ll stick to my DIY.
Yes we need to figure that out
@@incube80oh dang true
I made my own but this is way easier and for the price you can’t beat it. Or be like me and spend hours trying to figure out the best way! I’m just buying now!
Can you make a diy tutorial for my fiancé please?
Realy intersting. I'm curious why didn't you tryed it on your leg or somewhere on your body to see how it respond ?
They are fun I seen Daniel yuck do a review on them so I had to try them out and they do good.for dot work hope you injoy them
Great to hear your enjoying them as well my friend as i agree they are a lot of fun, though really only good for lining and stippling. Thanks again Michael always appreciate the support! 🤘🙏
You always do great videos! But after nearly 23 years, I'm loyal to the coil🤘. Not a fan of rotaries/pen/wand machines, but to each their own.
Why
I understand that, and if your happy with it your setup then no need to change but I will say when I switched to rotary pens it was a game changer. Though I didnt use coils for anywhere near 23 years so it was a much easier transition. Thanks for watching Myke I appreciate the support.
Same here. you can get adapters for cartridges that work with coil machines.
@@gostrydr I do have tubes that accept cartridge needles. I also have a drawer full of all these samples that I've been given over the years. This would be a way to use these.
Then again having more than three decades in, having wound coils, built machines, did my first tattoo with a Coleman machine older than any of us.
I also learned from the old school just how many modified plumbing parts were on those old Paul Rogers machines. Tube killers they were! Started with those old Spaulding and whatever the company's name was I'm forgetting right now that was owned by Philadelphia Eddie. Those tubes were all one piece soldered to a half inch grip.
Having put a pencil in my coil machine years ago just to get used to the weight while drawing, I'm sure I could put something together that does this on a coil machine without any modification, plug-in cartridges or cost of marketing.
The old school roll over in their grave everytime someone buys stencil stuff or colored Vaseline and others.
@@inksplosive386 can you please please please make a tutorial for this process? My girlfriend is tattoo artist but we don’t have cash for fake skin
Can’t wait to get me a box of these!
Heck yeah they are pretty sweet. I think you will enjoy them.
Wow 🤔 that's actually really interesting and could really help some folks out. Thanks man
There's this new green soap that is a numbing agent that is all natural with no lidocaine it's called biotat I would really love to see you do a review on it!
Those are great! Now I won't waste all my ink & needles practicing. Question! who was playing the underwater piano in this video? lol 🤣🤣
Yeah man they are a great way to get some techniques worked out without having to pull all the stuff out. I could see watching TV and just working with this on some paper. HAHA IDK who was playing the underwater piano but ill make sure I fire everyone for this as it will NOT happen again lol. Thanks again for the support brother and keep rocking!🤘🙏
Awesome content bro!
Thank you SOO much Joey appreciate that my friend!🤘🙏🤘
Just ordered my first pen style machine an found these. I need to grab some of these up before my machine touches down! Going to save on cartridges learning the basic of rotary/pen tattooing. Used a coil machine a long time ago but I know enough to know I know nothing. I just love all forms of art
Peak makes these as well, always seem to be sold out tho
Now do a whole tattoo design with the pen cart!!!
I like his energy .😅
Are these carts just for practice
Yeah you cant tattoo with them. Just practice.
Thank u for everything u teach me and always got my support
Are all carts the same size
Yes Jason they are all the same size. They only sell one size as well. Deff a fun option. Thanks again for the support my friend🤘🙏
What a great idea , especially usefull if you have youngsters who want to get a feel for the machine in safety, great video dave 😀 👍
They are so nice i love them but i still have my backups
Ive always hooked up my coil machines to a pen tube to do this. Excellent way to learn. Even easier since they put them in cartridge form.
Can you explain how to diy it?
I would love to see you do a drawing with these just to see what you could come up with I Challenge you
HMMM.... I may have to give that a try. Time is not something I have a lot of so not sure if it will happen but if I have the time I certainly will 🤘
@@ArtSomething when I finish my peace im working on .i will email it to you. and I understand Completely
Great video
That seems like a quick way to eff up your motor.
Yeah I thought the same thing at first but thankfully it doesn’t seem to be to harmful to the machine.
It will not affect the machine in a way as long as your not applying excessive pressure to the pen tip which will
Cause friction on the motor. The cartridges were tested on fk iron machines and there were never any issues. 😊
Nice i have a 10 yr old, she loves art and wants to get into tattooing, ive let her set up and try on fake skin, been meaning to take her to our shop so this would b great to let her run loose
Yeah man for sure great option for young ones who are interested, as there is far less set up and what not. My daughter wants to try them out as well and I think its a great starting point for sure. Thanks for watching Jolly appreciate the support!🤘🙏
Cool product but too expensive
I could imagine taking these to school. Jr college. Everyone will want a tattoo. Until they realize I suck a tattooing that is
HAHA yeah prolly not the best to take to school but hey if you want to practice anywhere they are a great option. And we all sucked at one time, just keep at it 🤘
Always love your videos man! thanks for your work . time to dive in.
No problem Addison and I appreciate the support!! 🤘🙏
I got mine about 2 weeks ago and they are legit. I bought the black and blue cartridges and I'm liking them a lot. I bought a backup machine to use specifically with them just to practice with. I recently started a portrait with them and the values that you get from them are sick. I highly recommend them for those just starting out or those coming from coil to rotary machines.
Hi! Can you please help me get them for my fiancé? I think there’s direct shipping between the USA and Russia, but if not we can use my friend In Finland. If you’re interested, would be great
Can I use this on my skin ?
Might be worth investing in a lense without autofocus for the close ups
U know when u shake a pen it literally starts leaking.... since this product literally stays shaking cause of the machine... do they leak after some time??? What i was wondering
Really want to buy those pen cartridge! Is there any other websites where I can buy these’s pens?
Willing to buy, im from singapore. But the $125 shipping fee for 2 box of cartridge pen, i think i’ll stick to my DIY.
Dang man that’s crazy! I don’t blame you I wouldn’t buy them either with that cost of shipping.
My comment, I've been a Tattooist for about 2 decades and I think it's a good idea for a new beggginer to practice,....
Use it with water color paper so it won’t cut paper ..
Thats a good idea though I didnt have any problem with it cutting the printer paper i was using.
Do a giveaway. Papillon aka starbrite asked me if you wanted to go or coming to their convention.
I should prolly do a giveaway soonish. Problem is so many scammers out there making it hard to ensure things go to the proper winner. I dont no anything about there convention as of now, though I dont think I will be attending any conventions at least until I get settled in Texas first. Thanks for the support Larry. 🤘
@@ArtSomething . No problem.
I’ve bought these carts and out of 20 I maybe only got 8 carts that hit consistently the rest run out in about 15 minutes
Hi! If you don’t need them, can you send them to me?
I only use coils so I dunno anything about cartridges… can I buy a cartridge thing? Someone info me? I’d like to do some pen work
So great, we hope to cooperate with you, sent you a message, looking forward to your reply.
Where can you order them Dave
I put a link in the description to the website and I believe you can order them straight from the website.
@@ArtSomething ya sry Dave I noticed after lol 🙄
I don’t get the science behind it
Me either all I know is it works pretty nicely and could really have some benefits for those getting into tattooing.
@@ArtSomething sold! I’ll give it a try
I put a pen in my coil machine and draw on customer sometimes they like it 🤷🏽♂️
Yeah that is deff a great way to turn your coil machine into a pen machine. And if it helps you then thats all that matters. Thanks for the support my friend!🤘🙏
Why don't they put tattoo ink in it that would be cool
You should’ve just use your armrest bro 😂
Is this bad for your machine by chance?
Completely useless!!! The only way to learn how to tattoo is to tattoo with someone who knows how to tattoo.. The only thing I will say is that the advantage of learning to tattoo today is having practice skin …
Hey for beginners what voltage do you set machine on
6.0 ish
