Older (legacy) games running DX8 or below aren’t supported afaik. Most everything DX9-11 technically should work as long as Vorpx can hook-in to the engine that specific game runs. So many games work with it in some capacity tho that the title isn’t that far off.. just should be “Any” with an asterisk. Vorpx is a no-brainer add-on to your setup if you already have a headset and a collection of PC games. I’ve dusted off games I wouldn’t have played otherwise, just because I can check them out in VR.

I just got a meta quest 3. my first vr. bought Vorpx (I pronounce it like "Vorpz" with a 'zz' at the end) and it's so nice to have my desktop view and all my audio routed to my headset. I like the immersive full screen because the whole screen doesn't fill the bottom of the view with vr experience option. although I love the geometric stereoscopic feature. It makes objects feel more natural when the fov is too close.

I’m thinking about getting Vorpx to play games on my 3D tv. Apparently there is a standard display option. I mostly play classic wow. I’m curious if vorpxs classic wow profile allows for shadows settings to be higher then low ?

How do you make a profile for none supported games? No profiles exist in the cloud

@@yorkie1792 lol don’t use virtual desktop I have that it’s trash. Just use a usb 3.0 make sure you have proper gpu and will run perfectly

Oh, and by the way, I used my Controllers for my Oculus Quest 2, and then customized the key bindings in the vorpX menu.

I tried to play black désert online with vorpx but Hook fails whatever méthode i use and despite i disabled any apps and anti malware. I bet EAC is involved but Can t figure how to procced.if Anyone knows a trick it woulb bé awesome

I just played NFS Most Wanted from 2005 with Vorpx, and its amazing, its like playing on a giant 3d screen, it really makes you feel like your in the game.
But can you play in driver view with a wheel setup?

@@nonsagashus_The_Gamecat I would say the experience is similar to a real VR game. But no it’s not VR, it’s not like GT7 or other racing games in VR. But you do feel like you’re in the game due to the 3D effect and having a really large screen.

What you show is not VR in the sense that others imagine what VR is.
This video shows a simple projection in the STEAM ROOM. Like a big virtual monitor. By the way, this is generally possible with STEAM. Even without Vorpx.. it´s a normal STEAM Feature.

Surrealcapture is the one that worked for me, it takes some time tinkering with the settings for each specific game though, but it does work!

I bought it but now when I press apply for my game it’s asking me for a key code so it sends me a key code from the email and I put it in with my name and the email. It won’t let me through. It says it can’t be validated.
I had the same issue. Afaik it happens when you change your hardware, like graphics card or cpu. Just write them an email with your name and request code. They will send you a new key code.
I apparently need more information, found the game, clicked apply, started link, started steam vr in headset, clicked play on pc, no vr only played on pc
Yeah, so starting a game with steam VR running, does not allow vorpx to work for me
Could it be that it only works with steam? If I try to run a game that was installed by CD it doesn't work. (CD.. I know, just let me be a boomer :P)

Does Vorpx work when Oculus 3 is connected to PC via Airlink?
It works perfectly trhough airlink on the Quest 2, according to other youtube videos, so yeah, also for the Quest 3. Btw the Oculus headsets are so popular that they are always supported, if not nativ3ly then surely there's a mod to make it work on the Quests or the Rift... but for some users there was issues with stuttering, which were easily solved by changing some specific settings in the debugge of the Quest, search youtube for "VorpX on Quest 2" for instructions in case you have that issue.

It can be a full vr mode, it it can be a giant screen mode, but even in the screen mode, everything is 3 dimensional, not like a flat screen. Think same as vr but constrained within a rectangle!
My vorpx is not working
So it wont work and now after multiple uninstalls and reinstals. Gta 5 and fallout new vegas refuse to even load after uninstalling vorpx.
My pc has an amd 5. 4060ti and 64gbs if ram with a 2tb samsung nvme. No reason why vorpx shouldnt run new vegas let alone cause it not even run at all. I swear if i have to reinstal windows just to get new vegas to run

I wouldn't recommend a quest 2, it's cheap for a reason. (although now, less cheap that they raised the price) wait a few years and see how VR is going then, there's nothing in VR right now that is must have. The Q2 just isn't good enough spec wise, you'll get sick playing on it. And there's no reason why you should want to play games with vorpx... it's just playing flatscreen games with the screen attached to your head. It's not VR.

@@Death-999 You probably don't read the answer, or don't understand what you read. Virtual Screen is only one feature. You can totally play many games like a native VR game. You even have option to play lots of games in SBS 3d with Generic 3d diplay option if you ahave a 3DTV, 3D Monitor or a 3D Projector.

The title of this vid can be confusing but is gramatically right.
You can play in VR but not in VR mode...only if the game supports vr, and if the game supports vr i dont need vorpx.

some of the "True VR" in VorpX aren't really VR, that's just 360 that you still have to use with a controller.

Nah life aint free my friend especially a vr tool like this ik unreal engine is free but they are limited to games with their engine and in my opinion most of the best gamesout are not unreal engine games just play on uevr if you still havent baight it because its 40 dollar£s

Program seems terrible in my experience. Audio is so choppy it makes games unplayable. I have tried 2 certified games on their list on a 3070ti and 13 gen intel and it seems to just be trash.
I was disillusioned by reading comments about vorpx and the difficulties getting it to work on various forums such as reddit but after watching your video have become very optimistic again and am going to try it as you’ve made it seem very easy and intuitive to use .
You make very good comprehensive videos that don’t go too much into depth but explain the main points people need to know like those on the pimax etc

Just hoping with htc vive with a gtx 970 i5 4th gen 8 go ram pc will be enough to play just the 2d games in 3D like you have in your video as I only want this feature and not full vr - do you think I’ll have to upgrade or anything ?

as someone who desperately wanted this to work well... I own it and I'm disillusioned. Its super rough in a lot of "supported" games, still, and does require manual tweaking. When you can get it working, the depth is never as good as a native vr game is, most of the time it feels like a fake depth. sorry.

To be honest I’ve had enough of pcvr and pc gaming in general anyways to be honest as like you mention there’s too many issues and tweaking not just with vorp x but with vr and gaming in general on a pc so am going to sell my pc and buy a psvr2 to save all the hassle as it’s just plug and play even though you can’t play standard games on 3D on it but at least you can play them in cinema mode on the headset so thats what am going to do and just use a laptop for any other related pc tasks other than gaming.

It has both curved screen and 360 vr modes, but not all games work with 360 properly. Have you watched my Sims 4 in VR video? It supports 360

I got Vorpx to play Farming simulator and had to ask for a refund....it streamed the exact image to both eyes so no 3d illusion happened, it was horrible for me,
Can only say you didn't have it setup properly. I also had issues with Vorpx the first time I purchased it a year ago. I also asked for a refund 30 mins after I purchased it, but they denied it. I really didn't want to deal with fiddling with this software. Eventually I caved in and took some time to figure it out. It doesn't work straight after install and boot. Takes some testing and tweaking, but once you got it, it works really good in getting a game that has no VR support to work. Farming Simulator in VR is pretty damn incredible. Keep working with it, it's totally worth it.
@@taunhawk9888 I was sure I did everything as it said to do it, it was in vr I could move my head around only the issue I had was it was the exact same image for both eyes so the illusion of it being 3d was not there, did not feel like vr because it felt 2d... maybe I set it up wrong but that was the only game I wanted to play so I got refunded very quickly as I needed the money, could not really afford it in the first place but really wanted to play farming sim in VR, just wish they would make it VR like they did with euro truck sim as that is cool in VR

you got a refund? i wanted a reunfd so bad> there is no refunds for vorpx once you buy vorpx. if you comptuer isnt strong with excellent internet it will be choppy i can nly use it at work and still kind of choppy they tell you nothing your on your own once you buy it...

What a joke piece of software, it's not VR and it's so fake how you look down and get excited about seeing a body there, like wow you could take off your headset and actually do that in real life and it'll be a real body, not a very poorly designed digital body.
