Wow that's a nice feel-good story. Unfortunately, looking back 5 years, CO2 emissions have not fallen. The only thing that will reduce CO2 emissions is fewer humans. That fate will be forced upon humanity as global ecology deteriorates and humans are forced into ever smaller areas of habitable land. Sad.

Thank you for a great talk. Well what about our great new sports stadium in Burswood - this could be a real show case. A wonderful example of a green field project that could be completely self sufficient. Has anything been done about the the savings in power and sewage?

CO2 are not going down, slow down accelaration is not the same as CO2 going down.

I got this talk recommended, and I must say that I havent seen a more worse talk a long time ago. Newmann uses not just fake data he is just using this data supporting his concept/talk. I give him an advise to see the talks of Hans Rosling and watch "with open maps" of Jean Christophe Victor about Energy.

How much fossil fuel energy does it take to manufacture solar panels? Wind turbines take a lot of steel.
